Great local eatery of Italian food. From the beginning, the freshly baked dinner rolls was a warm welcome. It was begging to be smothered with butter. It was delicious! My son loved his spaghetti with meatballs and the highlight was their chicken tenders! Cooked to perfection! Juicy, tender and savory! Don't forget to order their potatoes. It was a perfect match! The pizza wasn't a hit. The toppings fell off the pizza as soon as a picked it up. I didn't expect the pineapple was huge like it came out from a can. The Canadian bacon was sliced thin but they were huge. It could've been better if they had it sliced in smaller pieces. The cheese was a lot. Too much that covered all the toppings. Can't believe I paid money for this food. I ordered a large dinner antipasto salad with Italian dressing. I did know that vinegar and oil was considered Italian dressing. It was a large bowl of lettuce with white onions, 5 of pepperoni, 1 piece of salami cut in half, a good portion of mozzarella and a few tomatoes so small and thin you could almost see through them. My wife had cheese ravioli with pink sauce. Her food looked more like a bowl of soup than a pasta dish. Tasteless on top of that. They give you a butter knife to cut this tough roll so that you end up with ball of dough on the inside. I didn't know that they made table service that cheap. read more

AWFUL service! The server who is the older lady consistently gives bad service, she several of our meals wrong. She did not tell us that cheese on a meatball sub is EXTRA or that if you want sauce on your noodles it is EXTRA! She is a horrible waitress. In the days of getting less and paying more, that's not the case here at Chi Chi's! Tonight I enjoyed the Italian roast beef sandwich. As you can see by the photo it looks like the kind of sandwiches that we see in television commercials that are always stacked so high with meat and then when you order it, it looks nothing like the one on the commercial. This sandwich was stacked high with delicious roast beef, and some grilled bell pepper. I asked for a little marinara sauce on the side for dipping and it was delicious! I only ate half the sandwich and I was full. The price $14.95. I think this is a very fair price for this sandwich considering a fast food sandwich these days costs $12-$15. I've been coming to Chi Chi's since I was little and it has always been my family's and I's favorite place! Came here the other day to have lunch with my cousin. We ordered a large antipasto salad to share, as well as a large salami pizza and we asked for it to be made spicy. We also got a fettuccine Alfredo to share. The pizza is delicious as always and I like how the salami was under the cheese rather than on top. It wasn't too spicy but it did have a little kick to it! The salad is always delicious as well. They serve you bread and butter! I also had ordered a raspberry Italian soda, which I always have to get whenever I see it on a menu. They gave you the cream on the side so you can add however much you want. Our waitress was very nice and came to check on us throughout the time making sure our waters were always filled. It's kind of a dim lighting setting in there, so the lights aren't so bright. It was also very cold in there, so maybe bring a jacket!!! read more

I tried this place for the first time today and ordered 2 meat ravioli meals with meat sauce on the side. I left a good tip. I get home to find hardly any ravioli in each meal, about 12 very small ravioli for over $20 a meal. I was shocked and feel ripped off. Love this place, as it is our go-to pizza option and I think it is, when things are done correctly, the best pizza in all of Simi Valley. We order for pick-up about once per month. The last several pizzas were right on the money, perfect. However, tonight's we noticed a huge change. Sadly, Chi Chis has taken a total nosedive. I last went to chi-chis sometime earlier this year. Prices had drastically increased back then. I went today and was a b s o l u t e l y astounded. A side salad was over $8 and was 3/4s of what it what before. There was a lot of brown lettuce in my $8 salad. The chicken strips and fries meal was over $20. I know things have gone up, but holy cow. The icing on the cannoli was that they now charge for rolls in most cases. It's $2.95 for 4 rolls. I was shocked- that's half the reason you go to Chi Chis. I was going to order 4, but after getting a peek at new menu prices I had to sit them out. Service is still friendly- our waitress was great. The restaurant can still use some "help" all though they have done a touch of remodeling since my last review. read more
