The pizza was pretty good! Not too greasy, flavorful, and with a fairly thin crust. This individual pizza was a good serving size for one. My coworkers enjoyed the beer options as well. I want to try out the dessert options next time I go! Unfortunately, I had to wait for quite a while for service. It seems like it's one guy running things. At one point, I asked for a glass of water, and he disappeared outside, then came back with a glass of water from...somewhere??? It was a little weird! He also disappeared for a while and other people in my group were not able to order. There is a bar area with stools as well as a decent number of tables. They were even able to accommodate our group of 8! They charge a fee for using a card to pay. read more

Had the pizzas here for the 1st time to go. We ordered 2 large margherita pizzas, large fennel sausage and mushrooms, and garlic knots. The marinara sauce for garlic knots was on the spot a little garlicky not to powerful. The pizza sauces are different from the garlic knots marinara, not garlicky like the knots ones and that I can tell which their concept was fantastic by not tasting the same. Since we love cheese I will order extra cheese for the margherita pizzas and try that next time. Have to say everything was so delicious. Highly recommend this place for a great pizza locally owned. I believe husband and wife owners very nice people. Will be coming back to order more pizza soon. read more

We tried a take-out order for our first experience with this place. The Caesar was good and ingredients on the pizza were fresh, but there was a problem and it wasn't handled well, unfortunately. We did a "make your own" combination. We included mozzarella cheese. There was virtually none on our pizza. We called and whoever was on the phone told us we should have ordered shredded not fresh if we wanted a typical pizza. No apology or anything - and we were very polite. Just like we were scolded for not ordering properly - when it was only checkmarks. It's a shame because it doesn't make us want to return. read more

Pretty odd that when we walked up the guy who would take our order was sitting at a table outside smoking. Overlooking that, we went in and ordered an appetizer sampler and garlic knots. The bread was baked fresh for the sampler and in was pretty good. He went outside again after we got our food, so I had to go out two ask for a to go box. Arman, his wife and daughters were wonderful hosts and the parents enjoyed the bar room nextdoor. Food was delicious, and they went out of the way to cater to our team. Stopped by here between calls on Friday afternoon. Walking up to door a gentleman greeted me from a table just outside the establishment. We exchanged greetings and went in side. I looked at menu, choose the BBQ chicken pizza(one above the personal Priceline) and waited. Owner gave me some history of the place as I waited and I was very pleased with the costumer service. Conversation ensued to where we both lived and etc. Pizza was ready! Fabulous presentation and smell was great! While taking my first bite I enjoyed the flavors, the crust was a perfect thickness. I hope they succeed in the location. It's good for the local area, and the community college there but, I hope there will be more business for them as people travel through the area! They had among my favorite tasting pizzas. I can't believe this off grid place is so delicious. The dough and toppings were OMG. Seriously the dough and sauce had so much flavor! The wings were actually fresh made, and they have excellent alternative dishes and salads as well such as flat breads with spreads and bruschettas. Marguerite pizza and salad were super yummy! We needed t grab something quick before a play at Moorpark and decided to try Custom Pie.

I'm not writing my review of the pizza yet because I still haven't tried it. I ordered over an hour ago and I'm still waiting. While waiting, we had to use the restroom, but needed someone to guard the single-person restroom because the door handle/lock are broken. Even if the pizza is amazing, it's not worth this wait. I don't even know if it's worth the $120 I paid for three 14" pizzas, garlic dough bites, a beer, and fountain drinks. That's pricey for poor service and facilities that are less than decent. The kids are hungry! This is not someplace we will be returning to. read more

we stopped in on a weekday night during dinner time and the place was empty. Even though there was no one else in there, we barely got a welcome. They no longer have the brussel sprout salad which was a disappointment. The pizza took 30 minutes and the cheese pop overs took 40. I get it's made to order but...that's a long time for any food. They gave us two plates when there were three of us and we had to ask for water. The owners then made their own pizza, quicker than our was made some how, and went outside to eat it leaving us alone inside the restaurant. The pizza was greasy and the quality of ingredients were not the same as before. Needless to say, we won't be returning due to lack of customer service, high cost for low quality. read more

The Alabama white chicken wings were unique in flavor and perfectly cooked but the lack of extra sauce was disappointing as well. For those reasons i gave 4 instead of 5. Price: $20 pizza, $9 for 6 wings, $9 for a few pieces of asparagus. Plus tax, %20 tip and delivery equalled to $54. $9 for 6 wings smh. At least make it 8 wings. I'm giving a 4 only because of the past owner Michel was consistently all over the place. Often times I would place an order, arrive at the designated time and almost always (7 out of last 9 times) my pizza would "just be going in the oven " despite calling 30-60 minutes beforehand." Unfortunately that owner would always have to do EVERYTHING. HOWEVER I'm so happy to hear and see it's a new owner. Not only was my pizza ready but my fingerling potatoes were just finishing upon my arrival! The customer service was way better than all of my previous times combined and the change in ownership has been amazing! Everyone was so friendly and they apologized about my "slight way." They truly do care about customer service here. I'm so happy to support a local business and the pizza (pepperoni, sausage and bacon) was very filling! Decided to check this place out a couple weeks ago and was thoroughly impressed with the service and pie. There was only one staff at the time we went in, but saw the owner towards the end of our meal. We ordered the Loretta and absolutely loved every bite of it. Our first pie ended up coming out missing the middle because the dough was thinned out, but the staff made us a whole new pie-to-go, that was even better! Our daughter saw Custom Pie and Bar next door on Yelp while headed out of town and decided to give it a try. Right off the bat felt a little awkward. Multiple people from all angles just staring at you. The menu on faded televisions small and hard to decipher while the eyes stayed latched on you. Decided on a large pepperoni large el Diablo and some baba ganoush. A small interior with a few tables and a large out door patio which we opted for. The baba ganoush was ok but lacked the Smokey flavors I'm use to, the pizzas was thin crust and had a reminiscent flavor of an aged sourdough fermentation which I enjoy. The el Diablo was just a normal pizza with a spicy salami and basil, the pepperoni was normal pepperoni pizza. Gave a shot at their dessert pizza with Nutella and marshmallows which was pretty good probably the best thing we tried. 3 stars for the quality of the crust but the higher prices and awkwardness won't have me coming back. read more

I was finally able to order a pizza delivered from these folks. Using the Slice App. The place is under new ownership and I wanted to check them out. I ordered the meat lovers Pizza and a Greek Salad and was very pleased with both. The Salad was verbose and fresh, and the Pizza was good. I might order a different combo next time to check the veggies. OK, I gave these folks a four out of five. Why? The order pricing structure. Their minimum makes it impossible to just order a pizza.
