Cool sports bar atmosphere. Definitely would return to catch a game. Service was friendly, and the food was delicious.

Good local Bar. Good People (mostly) and good eats. Try the smoked wings! Last but not least? Give Jane a Raise! (that's an order!)

Finally stopped by for Lunch. Quiet noon crowd. Rose Bowl games on the multiple screens. Seated & served promptly! (Nice) Very dark ambience. Luckily sunlight from the window helped me see the menu. Started with a House Marg. Ehh. Not my favorite but not their fault. Ordered the Lunch Burger & fries! Number one!! Fresh lettuce, tomato & pickles on a squishy buttery bun! Waitress ( Priscilla) was exceptionally attentive and made this a most enjoyable experience. Will be back to try something else on the menu & maybe from the bar .

The food was horrible. I was sooo excited to come here, considering we've driven past it so often. The inside was really nice, but I just wish the food matched it. I was so disappointed in my food. I took one bite of my burger, and that was it. My son only took two bites of his macaroni and complained that it didn't taste good and when I took a bite, I didn't even argue with him because I understood. My husband did not like the buffalo sandwich, and it tasted not fresh whatsoever. He only ate half.It was a complete waste of 80$ and we most definitely will not be back sadly. If we ever do come back, it will be just to get drinks and just to watch a game.I've never been to a place where none of us finished our food at all but when I say, we really each only took one bite, I mean it.

If you want typical sports bar food - flavorful, hearty, greasy, then that's what you get here! I got a blackened chicken sandwich and it was just as I expected. Maybe I'd ask for lettuce also next time but it was good! My kids got wings and mozzarella sticks which were also good. The mozzarella sticks were a bit overdone, some the cheese was totally melted out, but overall decent. My husband loved his Philly. We also got pretzels with cheese, super buttery, but still tasted good. Also the wedge fries were like sooooo buttery. And I love butter but dang a bit much. Service was great everyone was so nice! Also had a yummy espresso martini. I def want to go back for breakfast and maybe earlier in the day in general bc I'd love to give this place a higher rating.

Our server too forever to even greet us, we sat at the table for over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we sat down. We ordered a michelada but all that came out was a regular beer. We would ask for assistance, and employees would tell us they weren't our server. We were also charged $150 for 15 wings which was very ridiculous.

But the real standout of our visit was our server, Cher. She was absolutely exceptional -- attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and had such a genuine, friendly energy that made the whole meal feel special. She checked in at all the right moments and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. It's rare to encounter service that truly elevates a dining experience, and Cher did exactly that. She said yes. I then said you can still seat us and we can have a cocktail while we wait. This kid had absolutely zero business being a hostess on an overly crowded day. And what kitchen doesn't prepare for a day like Mother's Day..but that's a them problem. The restaurant's decor really doesn't match the pricing. It's got more of a bar vibe than having $16 cocktails, $23+ starters and $30 entrees. The seats were shabby and worn, and the tables just looked utilitarian. Our server made up for it...was on top of ordering and very efficient. Can't remember her name but dark hair, cute with a septum piercing. She was calm and took a few extra measures to ensure our visit was nice. It was actually my sister's birthday and we had just lost our mother. All in all, I would go back but wish some of the profits would go into improving the ambiance.

The food and cocktails were excellent, and it's clear the restaurant is striving to create an elevated dining experience. One thing that stood out was how thoughtful and inventive the menu felt. You can tell the chef has put a lot of creativity and care into the dishes, balancing familiar favorites with unique twists. It's definitely a cool and welcome addition to the Moorpark dining scene. We particularly enjoyed the Tropical Bird, Emma's Punch, Lemon Drop, and Mango Margarita Mocktail. The Crispy Calamari Strips were a great starter. For entrees, we enjoyed the Lamb Ragu, Parmesan Chicken Milanese, and Wild Mushroom Risotto with added chicken. All were all flavorful, beautifully prepared, and well-executed. The servings were huge (awesome!) and we had leftovers to enjoy the following day. The reason for the 4-star rating comes down to service details. While waiting to be acknowledged, we were overlooked by the hostess for other guests entering even though we were standing right in front of the host stand. Not a big deal, but didn't love the eye roll the hostess gave when I politely piped up that we had been waiting. Was not a great first impression. While our server was wonderful and friendly, there were several moments where empty plates and glasses accumulated on our table for an extended period of time. Our entrees arrived while many of our appetizer dishes and drink glasses were still sitting on the table. With several staff members circulating throughout the dining room, it felt like an opportunity was missed to provide the attentive table maintenance you'd expect from a restaurant aspiring to a fine dining level of service. These were relatively minor issues and seem more related to training and coordination than a lack of effort. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all very good, and with a little more polish from the support staff and greeters, I think M on High Street could truly become the upscale dining experience it's aiming to be. We'd definitely return and look forward to seeing it continue to grow.

Would not take order of first round of drinks without looking at our ID's. My wife and I are in our sixties, it was embarrassing because they made a huge production out of it. (No other patrons that I saw were subject to this scrutiny) The Ugly: we each had one drink and shared two yellow tail sashimi starters. Upon asking for another round we were rather surprised to find out our party was cut off from the bar. Water and bread only. The sashimi eaten we took the indignation in stride and decided to wait until the barmaid deemed it acceptable to serve us again. Now it gets bad, one of our party became ill and threw up in the bathroom, before we could even find out what was going on with her, barmaid from hell publicly informed us because one of our party was ill we were permanently cut off from the bar. Not considering the food as the culprit of said illness at all. My wife began to feel sick as well and we paid and left. She had trouble walking, speaking and breathing. She became violently ill and the smell of bad fish was overwhelming. I have a portable breathalyzer for guests to use at my home to ensure their safety if they drink. My BAC - .023 , my wife's was .024 obviously not intoxicated. Shame on M on High for such poor judgement and embarrassing their patrons. Avoiding this restaurant is going to be so easy as there's a plethora of good restaurants in the area. This is my experience, the Good, the Bad and, The UGLY.

It was a Saturday evening in February and at just a little after 6pm, the party was just getting started. And although Simi is one of our neighboring cities, we rarely venture to this part of town for any evening entertainment venues, so I wasn't sure what this place was going to be about. But at my first glance inside after walking in, I knew we were going to have a fun night. A decent size bar, several pool tables, tv's with sports on, a dance floor, live music, booze and bar food.... You can Count. Me. In. We had 2 tables set up in the back where everyone in the group congregated. First things first, we ordered a bunch of appetizers that everybody could share and they were great! From there we went over to the bar and got ourselves a drink. Pool table are available (and are a pay per game with quarters). The tables were clean, well maintained and had good lighting... Let's just say there was no hiding behind the 8 ball. Within 30 min to an hour of being here, a live band began to play and the ladies in our group all rushed the dance floor to shake their tail feathers. As the night went on, we ordered a a few pizzas and they were the perfect complement to our beer and whiskeys. The crowd was full of locals and we felt right at home. The place is well maintained, and the staff on site were all very cool. There is a hotel attached where some of the people in our group stayed the night (The Grand Vista Hotel). As far as Arena Sports Bar is concerned, I was a fan and I would definitely come back to play pool, grab a drink and enjoy the live music entertainment. Simi Valley... I'll be back!

Definitely a lot of Pros and Cons for the new place. For the pros, it is so much cleaner!!! Let's be honest, before the floor and bathrooms were disgusting. The updated establishment is so much nicer and refreshing. The back area is also much improved and allows for more seating. Finally a lot of the random old decor is gone. Now for the cons. The food and drinks just aren't the same :( and to be honest, that's the main reason for coming here. Came on Taco Tuesday and sampled each. Chicken, carnitas and ground beef tacos. They are small street style tacos. Emphasize small because I inhaled them. I really miss the old tacos that happened to be more filling and cheaper. The meat now is also bland with little flavor. My wife had the PC's Cobb Salad which came out at first missing chicken. That was quickly remedied but was also not as filling as prior. Finally the service is okay. Still seems as if they are getting the hang of things but until they do this place will struggle. Let's be honest, Simi Valley residents have a certain expectation that I think this place is missing. Alcohol prices have drastically increased. My bill also came out inaccurate so had to rectify. Ps. It is no longer a Dallas Cowboys bar. It's a Raiders bar now :( We no longer have our hang out... Corri was nice overall and I wish her the best here. Hope my next visit will be better.

The outside has a large patio, and it is decorated as eclectically as the rest of the entryway and dining areas. In fact, you could spend all day looking at every item in this place! Amazing dedication to a theme that actually works, and makes you feel relaxed and at home, at least for me (clutter confession in that statement . . . ). There are dining rooms and a bar area for further relaxation! The welcome was quick and warm, and the service was great. The menu itself is just as odd, almost like a child drew it with crayons, so I took a while to make sure I didn't miss anything, even though I pre-planned my attack on Yelp and their website. I was still overwhelmed in person! Kailey was a great server, friendly and efficient. I ordered the grilled three cheese sandwich (with Jack, pepper jack, and cheddar on sourdough, grilled) served with fries or chips - I chose the house-made chips, and added a side salad. The salad arrived first, and I had almost finished it when the sammy arrived, hot and melty. It was on a bed of chips, the amount of which shocked me! The whole plate was covered with them. I even took a large box of them back to the hotel for a later snack; they were too good to just leave abandoned. The sandwich was great, just the comfort food I needed that afternoon. There are other items I would try on the menu, so I hope to find myself in Simi Valley again. A great place with great food and service.
