No wonder this place has 2.5 stars lol Nasty food. COLD . service is not that great at all Whatever ambiance Wings and fries were very cold and still Never coming back here again

This mess sat for over 20 minutes during lunch in a nearly empty restaurant. Staff walked by and ignored it.

Really disappointing experience at Buffalo Wild Wings in Simi Valley today. We arrived at 1 PM to a nearly empty restaurant -- just three tables occupied -- yet service was slow and disconnected from the start. We ordered the unlimited appetizers, but the first round took over 20 minutes to arrive and was served cold. The second round came nearly 30 minutes later, and the portion was tiny, especially for a table of five. "Unlimited" doesn't mean much when the food barely comes out and takes that long. This was during lunch hours, when people are on limited time and need to get back to work -- the delays were unacceptable given how empty the restaurant was. Refills took 10+ minutes, and no one checked on us during the meal. When we asked the server about an allergen, she casually said "I don't think so" and never followed up. That kind of attitude made me seriously question how careful they are with other things. I also clearly requested no ranch on my plate -- emphasized it -- and it still came not only with ranch, but spilled across the plate, soaking into the food. Just careless. For nearly 20 minutes, we watched staff walk past a visible mess on the floor without cleaning it. It wasn't until I took a photo that someone finally addressed it. That said a lot about how little attention was being paid. Toward the end, one staff member did try to help, but it was too late to recover the experience. She offered to-go drink refills, but mine was never brought out. I've been dining out for over 30 years, and this was easily one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had. Not because they were overwhelmed -- they weren't. But because they simply didn't seem to care.

Ordered for pick up twice already got a bundle deal of traditional wings. They have very little sauce, but thats not even the worst part, they are very hard and stale as if they were 3 days old. They need to improve on them and also one ranch?? Last time we got 3, how are you going to give a bundle order just ONE ranch.

    Lots of people waiting

Hire more staff. Your entire patio is empty, and you've got at least 16 empty tables, yet there are people here who have been waiting to be sat for over an hour. This has to be extremely poor management.

Wings, Beer, Sports on giant screens and a friendly staff, what more can you ask. Buffalo Wild Wings have great wings as well as burgers and other options, great bar food overall. All kinds of beers on tap and a casual fun atmosphere. Great to get a quick bite or hang with friends to watch games, fights, etc. I like all the sauce options they have, mild to very spicy and everything in between. Lately my preference has been Thai Curry, but try them all. I have tried some of their spiciest wings, typically the spice levels are not that bad for me, the spice levels claimed seem much more mild usually, but the one I tried before, can't remember the name (maybe the Blazin' Knockowas very hot; too hot for me, so be warned. This was prior to me changing gears to lower Sodium options. This location is never extremely busy (lunch time), which is great so you don't have to wait, part of the reason I like this location. But hope they are busy enough overall at other times of day to have a healthy bottom line. This location is at the Simi Town Center right off the 118 freeway, so really easy to get to and in and out of. Large parking lot in front, so no worries about parking either. Today's offering, Thai Curry/Desert heat dry rub Bone-in (of course) wings, salad with blue cheese, carrots/celery and a Mountain Dew. Yum! My new go to is naked Tradition wings, (pictures) Salad with oil and vinegar, celery, carrots, no blue cheese and unsweetened iced tea. Much better overall health wise, but only so far as we are talking fried wings. I do love the sauces and blue cheese, but not the greatest for you. Enjoy!

Wings better than wingstop. Got the bogo deal of 12 wings for $12. Service was good when we had it... kinda took a while for food and pick up check. Filled up our water tho.

I wasn't quite sure what type of places was before I arrived. It is definitely a locals spot. Located very conveniently just off of the freeway, it is in a good size strip mall that includes other businesses like donut, shops, the bank, other small restaurants, I believe I saw a nail salon too. It is definitely not a trendy or fancy place. When we arrived, I noticed that most people at the sports bar were wearing jerseys or they were very comfortable in T-shirts and sweatshirts. Kids are definitely welcome. They have both inside and outdoor patio seating. We got lucky and did not have to wait for a table. This place fills up pretty quickly for games. Their decor is mostly made up of either neon lights mounted on the wall to advertise their beer, offerings or it is sports memorabilia. Their menu is not going to give you a tremendous amount of variety of things, but there are plenty of offerings. I can't say that I saw any vegetarian options here besides salads but they do have all of your classic bar food and appetizer type of offerings. They have fries, tater tots, curly fries, potato skins, all the different ways you could make cook or really want potatoes. They have burgers and other sandwiches. They have chicken wings of all different flavors. They have salads, although I didn't really look at their offerings too much. They also have a pretty good size kids menu. Our family ordered nachos and Irish nachos. One of the kids had the mini corn dogs and tater tots. Everything that I tried was tasty. Personally, I felt that the chicken wings that we got were a little too salty. But then again, I have a very sensitive palette and I don't need much salt in my food. The flavor of chicken wings that we got was a garlic, lemon pepper I believe. Again, very tasty. But for me, just a little too salty. I loved how Light and crispy their tater tots were. Their beer is served in large goblets. Their sodas and other non-alcoholic drinks tend to be served in large paper cups with lids on them. And of course, I mentioned the fact that there are lids on these cups because I have kids. I know how important a detail that can be. Anyway, the servers were all very friendly. You can tell they are all very accustomed to large parties and having to split checks 10,000 different ways. The servers are very attentive and actually if you come here I have a feeling it will be helped by several of them and not just one that starts out with you. It's definitely a very friendly family, local sort of place. We had a lot of fun.

The burger had great fresh flavor and it was spicy. The fries were crunchy outside with a soft interior. I had the breaded wings, they also offer smoked wings. I had the reaper sauce for the wings. The wings were cooking perfectly, the meat was tender and juicy. The sauce was a perfect amount. The reaper sauce is really really hot. My lips were tingly and my nose was running but it's so worth it. Great heat and great flavor. I had a Cesar salad on the side. The lettuce was cut perfectly, no large chunks, Service was over the top good. I ordered too many wings and needed a to go box. When our server brought out the box she also brought out lids for the blue cheese dressing. I've never had anyone do that before. It was the attention to detail from the kitchen staff and the wait staff and the great food, that made a great meal. We definitely need to visit again, soon.

First Visit - Definitely Coming Back…read more This was my first time at Junkyard in Simi Valley, and it did not disappoint. We ordered the fish & chips, stinking fries, chicken Parmesan, and the Godfather sandwich, paired with a Cactus Cooler and a MadeWest Hazy IPA. Everything was excellent--from the crispy, flavorful fries to the perfectly cooked chicken Parmesan and hearty sandwich. You can tell they take pride in the quality and consistency of their food. What really stood out was the service. Anastasia was outstanding--she gave great recommendations, explained the local favorites, and made sure we had everything we needed. True 5-star service from start to finish. It's not easy to find a place that delivers both great food and great service, but Junkyard absolutely does. The sweet potatoes fries nice and crispy. The bartender said all the pizzas are good which I believe her cause I saw a few people order them and they looked good! I also noticed calamari being ordered at a few tables so I'll def order those next time! As fun as it can be, the bar area can get a little rowdy. Only after we were seated at our table were we given a prix fixe menu and told it was the only option. The burgers we specifically came for weren't available, so we had to leave without ordering. It was embarrassing, frustrating, and very disappointing, especially since this was a special occasion we planned ahead for.
