Not sure what was going on, but the Mrs and I stopped in for a couple of hot dogs, the all beef type served how we like them. Both were burned, of course we only noticed this after we drove home. We also did something dumb, we tried one pastrami item, something to split just to give it a whirl. Three words for the reaction; rubbery, salty and nasty, yeah, the bread was soggy on top of the really awful pastrami. That is a one and done item, and I'm still unhappy about my burned kraut dog. Was any body paying attention in the kitchen tonight? My guess is no. read more

Great service! Clean restaurant and great Chili! I wanted to try the Chili Cheese Fries Burrito because I saw it online and it was really good! I got the Cookies & Cream Freezee as well and it was perfect! Overall it was all very good and not too expensive! Download the Wienerschnitzel app and there's some coupons there! They have a coupon for the Chili Cheese Fries Burrito I got which was 2 for $4! read more

Worst place ever. Gave everyone that ate it diarrhea and made us throw up. Food was gross.

Worst fast food experience ever. Went inside and I was the 3rd person in line. It took 12 minutes standing there before my order was taken. Then another 19 minutes until I got my food. Several people just up and left after waiting around for so long. The place is under staffed. My order just sat there while all the focus being on the drive through. All of our fries were cold because of this. If you're looking to wait around 31 minutes for hotdogs and cold fries this is the place for you. read more

Using AI robot at the drive thru is terrible. I wasted 15 minutes waiting in line just to find out my order was completely wrong. Just use humans...I will not go back as long as a computer is taking my order. How dare you waste my time so you can save a few bucks. read more

Used to be great, now its just 2 women with annoying, rude attitudes. Staff in the back being loud and throwing pans. Stale moldy bread every time. All staff needs to be fired and new hired and re-trained read more

I love the food here and would go more often if there was a location closer to me. Can't go wrong with the classic chili dogs and fries and depending on the order, the price isn't half bad either. Giving it 4 stars only because they've switched from Pepsi to Coke products within the last 6 months (Pepsi is much better; I can't stand Coke). read more

Was greeted when I walked in, was around 8pm and they do a good job of keeping the dining room clean. Very helpful and friendly customer service. Got a deal for 2 chili dogs and chili fries for 6$ Great deal if you ask me. The chili was hot and the hot dogs were very filling, would definitely recommend for a cheap meal break. They even bring the food to you. Fries could be better. read more

Sometimes I just want a hot dog - simple, tasty, just filling enough. Dear Hubby and I had been out on an errand, and this was a reasonable place to stop on the way back home. As with virtually everything, "cheap eats" this no longer is, but you have to take that in stride. I like my hot dogs on the simple side - brown mustard, sweet pickle relish, chopped onions, and fresh tomatoes. They delivered on that, but it was overstuffed and messy to eat. DH ordered some kind of combo deal, so the total led to sticker shock for the final bill. They're advertising a lot of drink options that might sound interesting but to me look like nothing but sugar and no food value. Nutritionally, this isn't a place to eat healthy. Although, they are offering veggie dogs presently. Haven't tried one yet. Feeling a bit hesitant. I went for the all-beef option instead of regular mystery meat. We sat outside - concrete benches impervious to most wear and tear. Wouldn't make a habit of eating here. read more

So, after thinking about going to the Wienerschnitzel here in Simi for years, I finally decided to go for it. Their 5 dog special had a little to do with it, but I do have fond memories of going to Der Wienerschnitzel with my dad and always getting a mustard dog or a chili dog. The store in Simi was spotless and the small staff was really nice and efficient. I had two tasty chili dogs and a corn dog. Both were perfectly cooked and actually brought back nice memories. We also enjoyed a order of fries, which were surprisingly very good. I will definitely be coming back. read more

This is my second time here first time it happened. This is the second time it's happened. The burger did not have any chili cheese or very little and hot and the bun is very hard at the very end. The service is good. The ambience is OK will give them one more try. hopefully this location is not is going downhill. Had to order a side of chili cheese to put in my burger. read more

Beware of the Mini Corn Dogs!!! Ordered the 6 piece today and received old, cold, and hard hotdogs that were just "freshly" fried. The manager needs to check the freshness of its meat. This is scary and dangerous. All of the Mini Corn Dogs in my order were old. read more

Last time I went here I got a polish sausage. It was delicious. But they either steam the bun, which just makes it all wet, or microwave it, which turns the bread into a rock. So one half lost point there. And upon greeting, I got "would you like to try the ...." EVERY time a vendor tries to push something down my throat, my instant response is "no, guess again." I was then told it was automated. Oh, big surprise. So another half point off. Today is HOT in Simi. Juan helped me at the window and did something remarkably unexpected. All I wanted was an Ice cream. Juan was working the window and was such a pleasure. And because it's hot, he did something (no lost revenue) that was incredibly nice. If the situation arose, I'd have him on my team. Oh, and I see they have MINT shakes. Can't wait to come back! THANK YOU, JUAN! read more

Burn was a little soggy, but combination of flavor is really good. Coming back for another Glizzy.

Don't usually come to this place, but I saw that they had advertised root beer floats. They were about $4.80. Pretty cheap compared to a Starbucks coffee. I was expecting a 12 ounce small size but was rather overjoyed to see a very large cup, 22oz and lots of ice cream made with delicious Mug root beer. This was one of the best rootbwer floats I've ever had honestly. Highly recommend going there for this. I don't know about the other food, but I will be back. Also, just a note, the young girl who helped me has a very high-pitched sweet voice. She was very pleasant and kind. read more

The service is always quick and friendly. Their fries are surprisingly delicious. I just used the drive thru, so I am not sure of the ambiance of the restaurant itself, but it seemed ok from what I can see from the drive thru. I'm from the midwest and I'd never seen a Wienerschnitzel before. The name is so confusing to me, especially since I've been to Germany and Austria and I know what wienerschnitzel is, a fried cut of tenderized veal traditionally from Vienna or in viennese style. So imagine my surprise when I went to this Wienerschnitzel and found that they served hot dogs. So I assume it's from the "wiener" in Wienerschnitzel that refers to the hot dogs, however any German or Austrian knows that "wiener" refers to anything that comes from "Wien" which is the German name for Vienna. This is American ignorance at it's best. Well, I was overwhelmed and slightly disgusted by the menu so I got what seemed to be a chili dog of some sorts. I've lived in Detroit so I know all their is to know about the coney dog. This was similar but way grosser. It was dare I say inedible. The fries would have been ok if cooked through and didn't have a hard cold center. The Dr. Pepper was ok. If I wasn't passing through a strange city and I had more options I wouldn't have stopped here, but I did so now I know I never need to go here again. read more

On their website, they offer online ordering as do most fast food franchise and restaurants do etc. They even offer delivery but I haven't tried that. This location has always been great and well, and I usually order online and picking up. However, today, I am not sure if she is a manager, but she informed me that for Doordash, I would have to park in the front. Clarified to her I wasn't DoorDash, and yet on the receipt, I don't know if it's their system or them, but it printed door/delivery. But even after I've explained it to her I've ordered online and done this quite a few times before, it hasn't been issue. She tells me that when they see an online order, they assume it's Doordash and that you would have to park out front and go inside. Even though she was professional, the 2 stars for me is the fact that she stated they assume online orders are Doordash and therefore, even though I wasn't, I would be required to park in the front. I would not recommend assuming your customer is Doordash or assuming all online orders are. Or perhaps add an addendum to your website about online orders? For those who like to order online, keep that in mind. read more

Was in need of a ice cream or shake and thought of coming here as a second option ! due to Carl's Jr. letting me down having me wait in the drive thru and say they can't find the utensils to make it at the window. I'm glad I thought of one drive thru that could take care of our family's needs tonight. I went with Oreos and reeses peanut butter shakes. The lady whom took our order was practicing safe food safety as I saw a mask and gloves upon her hands. Yep there drive thru will remain open during the covid pandemic read more

Tried to contact their corporate office twice. Never got a reply, The female manager there was rude, short and could care less about the customer's needs ordered my food at the drive-thru sat at the window. Almost 10 minutes. My food was just sitting there and they would not hand it to me ask the employee. Could you please hand me my food he said I will in a minute. I waited asked him again. Can you please just hand me my food. I need to get back to work he goes. Yeah give me a minute while he's running back and forth from cash register to cash register. Trying to wait on the one and only person inside of the lobby. He is inept cannot do a transaction on one. Register has to run back and forth several times processing a purchase. While the drive-thru line is backed up. They won't hand me my food and I asked for the manager and she was short with me and I told her that is ridiculous. I've been here 10 minutes. My food's been sitting there for 6 or 7 minutes and nobody will hand it to me. Well he's busy. She said I said not busy enough to hand me my food. I was here before that customer in the lobby ever showed up. Don't advise eating at that. Wienerschnitzel not to mention the fact I complain to them a couple months ago. Found a hair in my hot dog. Yuck! I love Wienerschnitzel every once in a while, particularly their fries. I don't know how a fast food hot dog joint got so expensive, but whatever, sometimes I don't mind the $ when I want some tasty fries & a chili cheese dog. Serving soggy ass fries a time or two is normal, but it's been every time now. I just grabbed lunch, 12:50 pm, & the fries were all so wet & soggy I couldn't even eat more than a few. So, no more Der Wienerschnitzel for us. Seriously, do something about your food quality! There are too many cheaper & yummier options & who can't make chili dogs better at home?!? read more

What? These people want it delivered and are willing to pay for it? Let's literally charge them double. Get with the times you absolute useless losers. Your food sucks but almost scratches an itch I have. But, in person? Dollar fifty. On any order app? 3 bucks. Screw you. I'm never visiting again. You know we can get actual food at that price, right? Doesn't it feel, perhaps, a touch odd to double your price for the most convenient method during pandemics and such? Sorry it took so long to let you know what garbage you are. For everyone else, compare prices on anything else on any order service. Small increases. Maybe a fee and normal prices. I have not found a single other restaurant that thought "global pandemic, lock downs, infinite issues? Let's charge double!" I'm going to bring this up to my elected officials. When horrid times hit in Castaic or any other area I know, everyone was incredible, this is just unacceptable. read more

I believe that customer service is by far the most important aspect of a business. Well, Irene is AWESOME! She is very personable, professional, and she has a wonderful, overall personality. Thank you Irene for putting a smile on my face and giving the best customer service I have had in years! read more

I cannot understand why it is impossible to get a correct order when new employees are hired. My order taker correctly entered my order as my receipt proves, but returned my hotdogs to the kitchen, then bagged my order and gave it to me over the counter. Rather than the mustered ordered, there was Catsup. The assembler in the kitchen removed the onions I didn't order, double checked my order, didn't catch the Catsup instead of Mustard and the counter order taker also failed to notice Catsup and not Mustard. I did speak to the manager on the past about this continuing issue. Worse, the chili cheese fries had enough chili and cheese for a half order, not a regular order. I'm finished as a customer. read more

Only car in the drive through and food took longer than normal. The window girl was very nice but the chilli cheese dog was sloppy and sauce was all over the place.
