It been awhile since I came to this Jack In The Box when it's right next to my work office, so today was the day to use my T-Mobile Tuesday code. I placed my order through the mobile app. I used my code for the Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger and I also ordered the Spicy Grill Chicken Wrap. The app showed it would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived to the place and found parking in the front. When I walked inside, I just went to the counter and told the lady working that I had a mobile order. I give her my name and she give me my order. I took it back to the office eat. The Jumbo Jack Cheeseburger was good and I really like the Spicy Grilled Chicken Wrap. So the service was ok ig... the atmosphere seemed like no one wanted to be there. The food was so bad! Like i called them to ask for a remake and they didn't even answer! The chicken was not cooked properly (over cooked) and my onion rings were undercooked. My snack wraps were literally missing the sauces. The only thing they got right was the sodas. This crack in the box is close to my job. Makes it easy to grab a quick burger and have some time to actually digest before it's time to go back to work, inside is metal chairs, and tile floors. The lady who works the counter at lunchtime is really nice and the food is decent enough compared to McDonald's or Burger King. read more

For my last visit, I'm giving five stars. That happened on Christmas Eve just after 5 p.m. I realize that many places close early on Christmas Eve, but some of them seemed to be jumping the gun and closing even earlier than the times they'd posted. I was out running last minute errands. Dear Hubby had stayed behind, and texted me asking me to bring food home. My first thought was a pastrami sandwich from a regional chain. Literally, as I pulled into the parking lot, the Open sign was up in the window, but when I got to the drive-thru microphone they said they were closed. Uh huh. Also no luck at two other fast food places. Even Starbucks had closed earlier than expected. It's not that I wouldn't have picked JITB in the first place, but it was a little out of the way. This is our preferred Jack in Simi, as it's on the way to the freeway for us when we head east. On Christmas Eve not only were they open, but they also provided a stellar fast food experience. The cashier/order taker was very friendly. The food was freshly prepared, including a meat lover's breakfast burrito sans cheese. It was actually really yummy. The prices are still reasonable. Food review. Loaded breakfast sandwich tastes it was freshly cooked. The sausage patty is not dry compared to that other location that has is dry (tastes like the sausage patty was cooked in the morning but still used during the late afternoon orders.) This Cochran location is definitely one of the handful of Jack-in-the-Box location that serves freshly cooked food. That is at least based on my multiple visits.. near or around noon time. I miss Jack in the Box. I moved to Florida in 2005 and I only get to eat there if I'm in California, or driving to LA There are some If I fly to St Louis there are a few there. One by the airport. OMG, so I'm currently waiting to be assisted and the manager walks away from the register, reaches into the fry bin, grabs exactly four french fries (I counted them as she dangles them in the air while talking to her co-workers) and eats them in front of me and walks to the back as if this is okay, IT'S NOT OKAY!!! The woman working the drive thru window on September 19,2023 @ 9:30 pm is a rude disrespectful woman. She should have nothing to do with customer service . I spent over 25 dollars got 2 sandwiches and large fries and plenty other desserts but was told I was only allowed 2 ranch dips. If I wanted more I had to buy them. I'm pretty sure my 25 dollars worth of food could've at least included 4 ranches . Who ever is the manager of this branch should speak to this worker and let them know customer satisfaction is more important than your 50cents for another ranch. My poor husband went out of his way to bring me cheese fries at work on my lunch break and even asked for them special order since I get their no longer part of the menu. So he brings it and their dumped spilt open in my bag on top of the napkins. I felt so bad for him I didn't say anything because he was already so apologetic for listing my lunch break. This Jack In the Box is in a good location, near Costco, Wal-Mart and Home Depot. It shares a parking lot with a gas station so parking can be at a premium if it's busy. Overall the restaurant is modern and clean. (Much cleaner and nicer than the Los Angeles Avenue location.) The restroom is generally clean. The employees have always been kind and helpful in my experience. The food is fresh and hot unlike some other Jack locations I've had the great displeasure of visiting. CONS: Recently this location was subjected to an armed robbery, so take that for what it's worth. Also, from time to time homeless folks hang out front. For some, that's an opportunity to be a good Samaritan but for others it's a stressful experience so I thought I'd share. Overall, my family enjoys this location and recommends it. read more

PART 1: of 2: So this being the 2nd run in with the same guy, i finally decided to post, so first visit i paid with my card and for some reason it was declined but was charged on my card so after reviewing my phone i showed a boy(24-28) named Donaldo who assisted me (seems to be a manager of sorts) that i was charged once he had seen my phone to confirm he contested it as if i wasn't showing him on my phone!,well, stupefied at how he was handling the situation he eventually gave in after stuttering some gibberish i couldn't understand , so pleased to have a breakfast meal i didn't complain even when he basically (stared me down) as if he can ACTUALLY scare anyone with his attitude (wrong physique for it) i laughed and went my way, the second time i order a wakey bakey without the bacon and of course a simple 3$ combo that consists of hashbrowns, eggs and cheese minus the bacon bits was done as the picture shows, just hashbrowns and cheese. I love coming to this restaurant because they manage so well. Customer service, always clean and the most important thing that the food is always accurate, hot and fresh. The employee, Raul, working the drive through deserves a raise or a promotion - I'm weird and asked for two flavors in my drink, and when I got to the window to pay, one of the flavors was out so he actually took the time to ask me what I wanted instead. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but most places would have handed you a drink and either not said anything or told you once it was in your hand. Hello. Two stars for you tonight. Both yelp and your doors say open until 2am(lobby). When I showed up at 12:55am ( that means I still had just over an hour to dine in the lobby) the doors were locked. People were exiting from inside and I asked the employee that was cleaning inside if they we closed and his reply was "can't you read the sign?" Yes I can A$$ hat!!! It says 2am not 12:55am. I'm writing this as a warning to anyone looking to eat here. I one night got the spicy popcorn chicken. I normally do, it's my favorite thing to get there. Nothing seemed wrong with it. About 6 hours later I got awoken out of my sleep and had to sprint to the bathroom to throw up over and over. For the next week it wouldn't stop. Constant diarrhea, fever of 103, and I even got hospitalized. Only come to find out that I had gotten a cute salmonella from Jack in the Box. The fastest reacting salmonella bacteria my doctor had ever seen. I would give this a 0 star rating if I could. Will never be returning to any jack in the box ever again.
