Obviously, Taco Bell is not designed to be a high-level high-quality food establishment. It is straight fast food. IMO, several of their food options are quite tasty, nonetheless. The drive-through at this location is clean, nicely cared for and is usually pretty efficient and the ordertakers are pretty good. The one thing that I think can be greatly improved is the standardization of the quality of the foods that they are delivering. For example: we like crispy tacos, but half the time the tortilla is cracked or completely destroyed, and the stuffing is sparse. However, on the other hand, there have been plenty of times that the tacos have been adequately filled and the tortilla shell is in pristine condition. I think it just requires a little extra attention by the employees and/or management to ensure that the product going out is of a standardize, higher quality. read more

Dear Hubby noticed a Taco Bell at the north end of the Santa Susana Plaza and suggested it as an option for a light meal. We stopped in Friday night. The decor style is an older one, but it was clean, so that's a plus. The restroom was especially well maintained. Our orders came out quickly and were freshly prepared. The staff members were friendly and taking care of more drive-through than inside guests at the time we were there. I do wish they had more options for beverages, like Vitamin Water, for example. Ordered food here for my family. Most of it came out alright but my two items (the most expensive items I might add) were wrong. I ordered a fresco style chalupa and a fresco style Crunchwrap. Both of the items had sour cream. I am a vegan so I do not eat sour cream (which is why I ordered fresco style). My husband called, asked for the items to be remade and went and picked them up again. Terrible service. Prices are not updated as other locations so everything is a dollar or more over cost. They don't post the new specials. They don't honor the online prices. Just driving a few miles away could save you 20% or more. The people working here have no idea what they're doing and when you order something they don't even know what is in their own inventory. I asked about a church wrap special and the guy said there wasn't such a thing until his supervisor stepped in. The food does not seem anywhere near as fresh.
