Our server, Scott, was attentive and fun. The meals were delicious and the desert, made by Angelica, was fantastic. We had a great time and highly recommend this restaurant.

I came here for dinner and I was sat at the bar immediately. The servers and bartenders were wonderful and very attentive. There is a variety of liquor and cocktails to choose from. The atmosphere is super upscale and chill. Great place to take a date here. Although the menu is a little pricey, you can definitely feel the freshness of the ingredients and it tastes delicious. I recommend coming here between 5 and 7 to take advantage of their happy hour deals on alcohol and food. Overall I had a fantastic experience here and I would a hundred percent come back if I had the chance.

I really wanted to love this place, but I never do, but my husband likes their Filet Mignon Prime. In my opinion this restaurant is extremely expensive and over priced. The service was excellent, Shannon is an excellent waitress. Jaimie is an attentive manager who touches base with each table. We said it was good, but good is really not great, especially at these prices. The Filet Mignon 8 oz. Dry aged Prime is $69, mine was cooked perfectly, medium rare plus, but oh my, tasteless. Not an ounce of seasoning. My husband said his was good. They offered to take it back for more seasoning, I appreciated it, but I wasn't confident they could pull it off without overcooking. The $69 price only includes 1 side. We selected the loaded potato. That was a disappointment too. It was already opened almost flat with just cheese pressed/melted on it, very hard not a fluffy potato. The sour cream and butter served on the side. My husband said his potato was weird too. The salad? Unfortunately the ceasar salad was swimming in the dressing. Again, service was excellent and the staff tries really hard to please. I just won't be back, my husband may give it another try. I would give it a 2 star, but with my husband liking his steak, I pressed the 3 star button.

Came for Happy Hour. The Place- Nice and Upscale. The Service- Friendly and attentive. The Food- 1) Spinach and Artichoke Dip- Good but should be a little bigger. 2) Filet Mignon Sliders- Very good and recommended. 3) Fish Tacos- Good and recommended. 4) 16oz Draft Beers- Good and cold. Parking- Super easy as they share a very large parking lot with other businesses.

Visited here while taking a trip to the Reagan Library. Highly Recommended! Great service and reasonably priced. We have happy hour items and were very surprised with the quality and quantity of what we received.

Blackened chicken with pesto was a bit dry. But Chris was happy to get us more pesto

This place is fabulous! This is our second time here, and so far we have enjoyed all our meals. The service from Chris was Exceptional, and the ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. Filet mignon sashimi and the bacon wrapped shrimp is going to be our go-to appetizers! SO good! The Lobster bisque was heavenly, and my husband enjoyed his surf and turf. The presentation for these dishes are beautiful. My blackened chicken pesto was OK, and my daughter enjoyed her California roll. Note: Fit in dessert! I promise you, you won't regret it. The key lime and brownie with vanilla ice cream were amazing!

We typically visit Larsen's in Woodland Hills and absolutely love it, especially for their happy hour. Wanting to try something new, we decided to check out Larsen's Grill for its BBQ offerings, also during happy hour to enjoy the vibe. Unfortunately, the BBQ selection was underwhelming. We ordered ribs, which had an unusual, off-putting flavor. The other appetizers we tried were decent, though the crab cakes and tacos, as always, stood out positively. On the bright side, their drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We'll stick to our usual Woodland Hills location moving forward.

Ask the Community - Larsen's Grill - Simi Valley

Do you have an Easter Sunday Brunch? I see on your website that the hours are 5-9, but OpenTable shows reservations available for 11am. Thank you!

Hello! Yes, this Sunday we are offering an Easter Menu Brunch. We are open for Brunch from 11:00am-2:00pm and Easter Dinner from 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Is Larsen's Grill and Larsen's steakhouse the same establishment?

Yes and no. What do I win? 🤦🏼‍♂️

Are you open on Thanksgiving for an in restaurant dinner? Is there a special Thanksgiving menu and if so can you also order from the regular menu? We will not be over 6 people , likely just 3?

Hello! Yes, we will be open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving. We will be serving a traditional turkey dinner as well as a majority of our normal dinner menu items. We are accepting reservations, which can be made over the phone or through our… Read more

Will you be open on Christmas Eve?

Hello! Yes, we will be open Christmas Eve from 5:00 - 9:00. Please let us know if you need assistance making a reservation.

What is the dress code, business casual?

People were dressed in a variety of ways. It was a cold night so many of us were bundled up. Since it is an expensive restaurant, people are dressed nicely but not in any formal way.

Are reservations needed?

Hi! Reservations are strongly encouraged - especially on weekends - as walk-in seating is limited. However, if you plan to join us for Happy Hour, the bar is first come, first served.

Is there still no happy hour?

Hi Brad! We currently have happy hour Monday- Thursday from 5pm- 6pm.

Can you take a bottle of wine?

Hi! Yes you can. There is a $20 corkage fee for every standard 750 mL. Due to COVID we will sanitize the bottle and pour the first glass. After that we must leave it on the table for you to refill your glasses on your own. Hope this is helpful!

Do they still have happy hour?

Hi Misa! Unfortunately, we are not having happy hour at this time. We are serving our regular dinner menu only. Once the restrictions are lifted and things get back to normal, we will revisit the subject and see about opening for happy hour once… Read more

You'll hear many patrons describe this restaurant as a hidden gem. Believe them. From our observation, reservations are highly desirable and may prove necessary for weekend nights. The only seatings available when we called a day earlier were at 4:30 or after 7:00 PM. We took the earlier, and frankly are glad we did. We arrived at their unassuming storefront location as the first patrons of the day, were warmly greeted and immediately seated. From this moment forward, my wife and I agreed: If anyone hopes to run a highly successful small restaurant, Bella's Bistro is the template. Inside, the ambiance was tasteful with gentle background music at the absolutely perfect tempo and volume to allow for conversation. We found the furnishings, tableware and restroom immaculate. Fresh flowers and a candle adorned each table, and the decorations for Valentine's Day were just the right tone, conveying appeal without being garish. Kudos to the staff for getting it right on all of the above. Though I generally set expectations low for the wine list or bartending at a small establishment, Bella's features a diverse wine list and specialty cocktails that pair very well with their menu. Of particular note was the superb crafting of cocktails during our visit - again, exceeding our expectations. It was during cocktail service that we noticed the full-service bar tucked in the rear corner of the restaurant, offering barstool seating and counter service for those who may be so inclined. We shared a nicely prepared caesar salad, while enjoying the basket of varied breads. While refrigerated butter pats were provided in the basket, it would have been a tad easier and more appealing if a small container of whipped butter had been offered instead. Our entrees included their homemade ravioli as well as chicken parmigiana, the latter included a large perfectly crafted portion of chicken accompanied by perfectly prepared spaghetti. To say this restaurant knows how to make and served great pasta is in understatement, with the ravioli a choice to be savored. A simple cheesecake dessert topped off the evening. Though the restaurant was full as our meal ended, we never felt rushed or ignored. Service was at all times attentive but never overbearing. There was genuine interest in our enjoyment and satisfaction. We encourage you to try Bella's Bistro!

My wife and I visited on a Sunday evening, and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed some really good cocktails before dinner. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. My steak wasn't cooked properly, and my wife's chicken dish was underwhelming. I'd consider going back for the drinks and appetizers, but probably not for the entrées.

Upon arriving the owner greeted us and made sure we knew we were being taken care of (as well as the other patrons waiting for a table as well). Happy hour here is until 7pm and we were able to partake in happy hour priced margaritas and guacamole. The margs were strong and delicious and the guacamole was incredible! For mains, I got the 3 taco plate with grilled shrimp, fried fish and grilled fish. Also got a choice of crunchy or soft tortillas for the tacos. The crunchy shell was the way to go, but honestly everything was delicious! I haven't had such incredible seafood tacos in so long... this is definitely going to be a go-to when in the area! Vibes were great - you can tell the owner is very beloved and truly cares for the patrons, and it shows all around. I cannot wait to come back here!
