I came here for dinner and I was sat at the bar immediately. The servers and bartenders were wonderful and very attentive. There is a variety of liquor and cocktails to choose from. The atmosphere is super upscale and chill. Great place to take a date here. Although the menu is a little pricey, you can definitely feel the freshness of the ingredients and it tastes delicious. I recommend coming here between 5 and 7 to take advantage of their happy hour deals on alcohol and food. Overall I had a fantastic experience here and I would a hundred percent come back if I had the chance.

Our server, Scott, was attentive and fun. The meals were delicious and the desert, made by Angelica, was fantastic. We had a great time and highly recommend this restaurant.

I really wanted to love this place, but I never do, but my husband likes their Filet Mignon Prime. In my opinion this restaurant is extremely expensive and over priced. The service was excellent, Shannon is an excellent waitress. Jaimie is an attentive manager who touches base with each table. We said it was good, but good is really not great, especially at these prices. The Filet Mignon 8 oz. Dry aged Prime is $69, mine was cooked perfectly, medium rare plus, but oh my, tasteless. Not an ounce of seasoning. My husband said his was good. They offered to take it back for more seasoning, I appreciated it, but I wasn't confident they could pull it off without overcooking. The $69 price only includes 1 side. We selected the loaded potato. That was a disappointment too. It was already opened almost flat with just cheese pressed/melted on it, very hard not a fluffy potato. The sour cream and butter served on the side. My husband said his potato was weird too. The salad? Unfortunately the ceasar salad was swimming in the dressing. Again, service was excellent and the staff tries really hard to please. I just won't be back, my husband may give it another try. I would give it a 2 star, but with my husband liking his steak, I pressed the 3 star button.

Came for Happy Hour. The Place- Nice and Upscale. The Service- Friendly and attentive. The Food- 1) Spinach and Artichoke Dip- Good but should be a little bigger. 2) Filet Mignon Sliders- Very good and recommended. 3) Fish Tacos- Good and recommended. 4) 16oz Draft Beers- Good and cold. Parking- Super easy as they share a very large parking lot with other businesses.

Visited here while taking a trip to the Reagan Library. Highly Recommended! Great service and reasonably priced. We have happy hour items and were very surprised with the quality and quantity of what we received.

Blackened chicken with pesto was a bit dry. But Chris was happy to get us more pesto

This place is fabulous! This is our second time here, and so far we have enjoyed all our meals. The service from Chris was Exceptional, and the ambiance was relaxing and comfortable. Filet mignon sashimi and the bacon wrapped shrimp is going to be our go-to appetizers! SO good! The Lobster bisque was heavenly, and my husband enjoyed his surf and turf. The presentation for these dishes are beautiful. My blackened chicken pesto was OK, and my daughter enjoyed her California roll. Note: Fit in dessert! I promise you, you won't regret it. The key lime and brownie with vanilla ice cream were amazing!

We typically visit Larsen's in Woodland Hills and absolutely love it, especially for their happy hour. Wanting to try something new, we decided to check out Larsen's Grill for its BBQ offerings, also during happy hour to enjoy the vibe. Unfortunately, the BBQ selection was underwhelming. We ordered ribs, which had an unusual, off-putting flavor. The other appetizers we tried were decent, though the crab cakes and tacos, as always, stood out positively. On the bright side, their drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We'll stick to our usual Woodland Hills location moving forward.

Ask the Community - Larsen's Grill - Simi Valley

Do you have an Easter Sunday Brunch? I see on your website that the hours are 5-9, but OpenTable shows reservations available for 11am. Thank you!

Hello! Yes, this Sunday we are offering an Easter Menu Brunch. We are open for Brunch from 11:00am-2:00pm and Easter Dinner from 3:00pm-8:00pm.

Is Larsen's Grill and Larsen's steakhouse the same establishment?

Yes and no. What do I win? 🤦🏼‍♂️

Are you open on Thanksgiving for an in restaurant dinner? Is there a special Thanksgiving menu and if so can you also order from the regular menu? We will not be over 6 people , likely just 3?

Hello! Yes, we will be open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thanksgiving. We will be serving a traditional turkey dinner as well as a majority of our normal dinner menu items. We are accepting reservations, which can be made over the phone or through our…

Will you be open on Christmas Eve?

Hello! Yes, we will be open Christmas Eve from 5:00 - 9:00. Please let us know if you need assistance making a reservation.

What is the dress code, business casual?

People were dressed in a variety of ways. It was a cold night so many of us were bundled up. Since it is an expensive restaurant, people are dressed nicely but not in any formal way.

    Are reservations needed?

Hi! Reservations are strongly encouraged - especially on weekends - as walk-in seating is limited. However, if you plan to join us for Happy Hour, the bar is first come, first served.

Is there still no happy hour?

Hi Brad! We currently have happy hour Monday- Thursday from 5pm- 6pm.

Can you take a bottle of wine?

Hi! Yes you can. There is a $20 corkage fee for every standard 750 mL. Due to COVID we will sanitize the bottle and pour the first glass. After that we must leave it on the table for you to refill your glasses on your own. Hope this is helpful!

Do they still have happy hour?

Hi Misa! Unfortunately, we are not having happy hour at this time. We are serving our regular dinner menu only. Once the restrictions are lifted and things get back to normal, we will revisit the subject and see about opening for happy hour once…

Steakhouse Prices, Worse Than Cafeteria Food…read more Spider webs on the dining room lamps and food stains on our tablecloth were the first things I noticed during our first visit. Not exactly the first impression you'd expect from a steakhouse restaurant. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. It arrived with plates but no silverware. We waited several minutes assuming our server would return with utensils, but she never did. We had to flag her down and ask for them. I also ordered a glass of wine that never arrived. The restaurant was slow, and by the time our entrées were served, I was still waiting. When we reminded our server, she just said "oh the wine yes!" She completely forgot! The food was even more disappointing than the service. The loaded mashed potatoes tasted extremely sour, no cheese, just shredded raw onions and sour cream with burnt top. How can you call this loaded baked potato? The mac and cheese was dry, bland, and lacked any real cheese flavor. Even the green beans had to a burnt pieces mixed in.None of the sides were at edible level. The steak was the only thing on my plate thats tolerable and even that left my stomach uncomfortable after my meal. The biggest disappointment was the food. For steakhouse prices, we were served loaded potatoes overwhelmed by raw onion, mac and cheese that tasted like cardboard, burnt green beans, and an average steak. The service and cleanliness issues only added to the frustration. We usually dine at Larsen's but decided to try support local businesses. After this experience, we'll be sticking with Larsen's. This will be our first and last visit.

I was excited to try this place because I love old school steakhouses and I love the Gold Rush…read moretheme. I don't live in the area, but I had gone to the movies nearby and got out just in time for an early dinner. I love the look of the place, it's dark and comforting and nostalgic and quite nice. Because it was early, I got a booth all to myself, as I was dining solo. My server was fantastic the entire time, but unfortunately I wasn't that happy with the food. The dinner salad was kind of unexciting, although the blue cheese dressing was good. I don't really understand the stuffed baked potato, because it was more like a twice baked potato that had maybe been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time, it was browned on top. I don't know where the cheese in the sour cream were, unless they were mixed in. I expected an actual baked potato with toppings but that's not how it came. It seems like the specialty of the house was prime rib, especially since it's only while supplies last and supplies are limited, so I ordered that. I got the 12 oz prime rib so I could take some home and eat leftovers. I was surprised that it came with a crust made of minced garlic, which is not standard or common with prime rib, and I feel like that should have been noted on the menu. Especially because garlic like that often goes against my stomach. I tried to scrape it off and eat around it, but I did end up getting kind of nauseous and gassy later which I didn't really appreciate. Also the crust wasn't all that crusty, the fat layer was basically raw and not rendered. My leftover portion was much better when I could remove the garlic and render the fat in the pan at home. The iced tea was watery and didn't have much flavor. Because I live far away, I didn't try any of the cocktails. And because I was feeling a bit nauseous from the garlic, I didn't stay for any dessert. I really wanted to like this place and maybe I'll try again by ordering some different things, if I'm in the area again. But I definitely would not make a special trip to go.

We had plans to dine elsewhere and when we arrived it was a sold out event even though I was never told that when I called earlier in the week that there was going to be a different situation (that is another story for later) So here we were a party of four looking to dine somewhere locally at prime dinner hour and striking out. My wife called MB Grille as we were already heading in that direction and talked to Alice and she allowed us to put our name on the list with the intent of us arriving in 10 minutes. We did arrive on time and the place was packed, we did get seated shortly after we arrived and Riley was our server. What a friendly easy going helpful person she was, answering questions that we had and getting answers for the questions she didn't have. Very attentive checking on us numerous times. This would be a great place for police to hang out on weekends to clean up the douchery to fund fire abatement. Neon lights, cute signage, and overall they just did a really great job with the design and execution. There's a lot going on but it doesn't feel cheap. Ambiance is definitely A+. For dinner on a weeknight we found this spot wasn't too busy but we also came after happy hour. It was a relaxed vibe. Service was overall pretty good. I felt like all of the gals working were very very sweet and nice. Also, anytime we stopped them to ask for refills and such we got what we asked for. That's my only upgrade as since it wasn't super busy, it would have been nice for the staff to catch the refills on water or salsa on their own/more proactively but hey, it was again a relaxed lowkey night and the staff couldn't have been lovelier. I'm just curious how the service would be if they were super busy? Now on to the food and drinks. The menu was very impressive! Solid cocktail and drinks menu. I'm bummed I didn't get a cocktail but my party doesn't drink so it was more fun to get an agua Fresca with them. The guava one was good and served nicely chilled. However, next time I'll definitely get a cocktail because their drinks looked fun and beautiful. The food was definitely the standout for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas Suizas and they were a 10/10. Not comparable to most enchiladas I've had but the sauce was fantastic and unique. I really loved these enchiladas and I'd honestly get them again. Solid flavor in the rice and beans as well. My friends also enjoyed their meal and it seemed like everyone was happy. The pricing is a little steep for Mexican food but also the ambiance and presentation make sense to me why it'd be a little more. For the three of us the bill was over $100. And that's for three mains and three non-alcoholic drinks. Normally at $33-ish a person I'd hope for at least a beer with my enchiladas, so keep that in mind. As a special occasion place or a spot to celebrate this spot is truly fantastic. I honestly loved my meal so much that even with the price point I'd rush back and bring more friends because this spot is vibey.
