Veggie Omelette

We had such an amazing experience at Serendipity, and a huge part of that was thanks to Gus! From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever being overbearing, and his positive energy really elevated the whole experience. Gus went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of, and you can tell he truly cares about his guests. It's rare to come across service like that these days. If you're lucky enough to have Gus as your server, you're in great hands. We'll definitely be back!

Came on a Saturday and was happy there was no wait. Lots of TVs on all walls with football, soccer, dateline, tennis, news ... So many choices! Had the spicy brisket omelette which was stuffed full - highly recommend! Hash browns we're crisp and lightly seasoned. Chicken fried steak and eggs was amazing and the sauce added the perfect flavor profile to top it all off. Will be back for sure!

My bro and I are not from the area - we were just in the area to golf and two gentleman gave us this recommendation after our golf round. It was quite empty when we came in (we came in on a Tuesday at around 4:30pm) and it was luckily happy hour! There were some great deals on there! Our server Naidene (I'm sorry if I spelled her name wrong) was super helpful and very attentive to us knowing we've never been before. We ordered off the happy hour menu - brisket sandwiches & ahi poke nachos - all recommendations from our server and everything tasted great!! If I'm ever back in the area I'd love to try the other items on the menu!

Great spot for good food, plenty of seating, and lots of menu options. Ordered the chilaquiles and they had a really good spice! The freshly squeezed orange juice was my favorite. So refreshing! Good place to check out with reliable service!

Came in on a Saturday late afternoon. We were looking for a place to have a meal and watch the Dodger game. I was surprised we were able to easily get tables in the bar area for our very large group. They have a pretty decent happy hour. Everything we ordered was good bar food and happy hour prices were great. It was a plus that we could sit and hang out to watch the game as well. Plenty of tvs so a good view no matter where you sit. Food didn't come out all at once so it wasn't until folks started getting their 2nd orders that we realized my husband and my orders never came. We were a large group but the restaurant was not busy. We have eaten here before on a Sunday and brunch was really great, so I'd come back for that but will skip coming for the bar food.

Came for our family brunch for my daughter's 21st birthday. We want to pick a place that serves alcohol and this place hit the mark!! We had a large group and the service was on point and we could not be happier. We loved the relaxed upscale style of the place that made it feel special. Everyone loved the food and had a great time but the start of the show is the giant mimosa!!! It was a huge hit and everyone in our group was able to have a glass and toast!!

Went with a party of 4 at 3pm on a Sunday. It's nice they have happy hour every day from 2-6. I got the brisket sandwich and my friend got the club sandwich. We were happy they were out of chips and had French fries instead. We split the sandwiches so we could try both. Brisket sandwich was a surprise favorite! Like REAL thick cut of brisket. Melted cheese, onion and just the right amount of sauce. I loved my fries and ate those first. Club sandwich was one of the best. Nice 3 pieces of sourdough. Perfect ratio of tomato, lettuce, bacon, turkey in every bite. BONUS they serve breakfast all day. 2 of us got sandwiches and 2 got breakfast. Cher was a super sweet server. It was an off hour but she was slammed with a big team coming in. There was another server helping but it seemed like Cher was doing all the hustling. I wish I wasn't driving and I wish I was a drinker. I would love to try their epic glass.

Overpriced as all hell. Canned corned beef, bulk kraft mac and cheese, and filled with the trashiest people Moorpark has to offer.

The Good: the ambience is charming and inviting. Nice patio seating around a fire pit…read more The Bad: wait staff and bartenders seem to be confused about who was talking our order and who was responsible for I'd checks. Would not take order of first round of drinks without looking at our ID's. My wife and I are in our sixties, it was embarrassing because they made a huge production out of it. (No other patrons that I saw were subject to this scrutiny) The Ugly: we each had one drink and shared two yellow tail sashimi starters. Upon asking for another round we were rather surprised to find out our party was cut off from the bar. Water and bread only. The sashimi eaten we took the indignation in stride and decided to wait until the barmaid deemed it acceptable to serve us again. Now it gets bad, one of our party became ill and threw up in the bathroom, before we could even find out what was going on with her, barmaid from hell publicly informed us because one of our party was ill we were permanently cut off from the bar. Not considering the food as the culprit of said illness at all. My wife began to feel sick as well and we paid and left. She had trouble walking, speaking and breathing. She became violently ill and the smell of bad fish was overwhelming. I have a portable breathalyzer for guests to use at my home to ensure their safety if they drink. My BAC - .023 , my wife's was .024 obviously not intoxicated. Shame on M on High for such poor judgement and embarrassing their patrons. Avoiding this restaurant is going to be so easy as there's a plethora of good restaurants in the area. This is my experience, the Good, the Bad and, The UGLY.

The food and comfort, not so much. Dear Hubby and I had a late breakfast, so we weren't really that hungry. We decided to order a pastrami sandwich to share, which came with one side (we chose tater tots). DH also ordered a cup of chili as an extra side. BIG mistake. At $7.25 for cup of inedible chili, that was a bad choice. It was overly salty, and extremely greasy. They charged 50 cents for a tiny sprinkling of onions on top. Really? That was an extra insult, considering that we skipped the cheese on the sandwich, and we didn't get a deduction for leaving that out. Speaking of the sandwich - it was tasty and well-made, but was very skimpy on actual pastrami filling. Not a good value. The bill was $40 for a shared sandwich, one small draft beer, a generous glass of pineapple juice, and the terrible side of chili. Since eating out is getting so expensive, I always hope (and expect!) that dining establishments would put their best foot forward so that guests will like what they're serving and want to return. Another note - the chair that I was about to sit down on was so wobbly and in bad repair that I could have suffered a fall. I mentioned it to one of the servers. She thanked me, but made no effort to remove it from the floor. That's a potentially dangerous situation which went untended. I didn't see a manager on the floor or I would have called it to their attention. I dragged over a chair in better condition from another table myself. It's a sports bar. It's reasonably clean. The kitchen did them no favors today. We'll be looking for another place to go when the 49'ers aren't on national TV during this NFL season.

Wow Andy you sure have a lot to say which is all false the owners and management work extremely hard in all aspects of our business sounds like your upset we cancelled trivia? All of your accusations are false and not accurate we sell hundreds of thousands of these dishes you've mentioned all made in house and fresh with rave reviews and what's funny most people will look at your outrageous post and list and laugh at how inaccurate it is. We obviously cannot help the ranting you have made and the quiz patrons feel free to not come back if you are going to falsely slander our business they way you have. Very disappointed in the amount of false statements you've made but that what Yelp is a platform for people to hide behind rather than calling an owner or manager to discuss true facts. Good luck in your future endeavors at better restaurants we obviously aren't the place for you. so kim... exactly what did I say that wasnt true? that one of my teamates won't come anymore because your ladies room is not up to cleanliness standards? that your food is wildly inconsistent? that your managers have told me that ownership doesn't give a crap about quality? Hate to break it to you but no one in the room of 60+ people was disappointed when our quizmaster told us that we wouldn't be having trivia at the crown and anchor anymore. There were even a few cheers! and we didn't miss a single trivia night because he had pre arranged to switch our wednesday night trivia to a different restaurant that although it is an even further drive for me and my team, the food is much better, completely consistent and ownership of the restaurant takes pride in the product they put out. We have been asking our quizmaster for years to find an alternative to the crown and anchor.... We go to wednesday night trivia because we love the quality of the quiz and we suffer through your food as a sort of "necessary evil" and you can accuse me of not approaching you personally when there was a problem with a meal but the fact of the matter is that I have approached your managers several times with issues (like when the iced tea had no flavor or the fries tasted like they were cooked in filthy oil or the chili breadbowl was stale) and those same managers (multiple) said that you weren't there and you didn't really care about the product the crown and anchor put out. you could have just apologized for my negative experience but instead you accused me of lying and slander. And just because you manage to stay in business doesn't mean that you are putting out good/consistent product.

We sat separately, 4 or us were at the couch and it was dirty with leftover food scraps, drink markings on the table, and lots of dog fur. It was hard to eat our food in that area. For appetizers we had: - deviled eggs - came with 5 halves and were just meh - poke nachos - onion rings - massive for 5 ppl but pretty standard Entrees are slightly small but it matches the price. Peggy's crispy chicken sandwich was crispy but kinda tasteless. The truffle fries came with lots of cheese and were good. The Wagyu burger was good. Splitting the check on the machine was so smooth. You can do as many cards and separate by item, which was helpful for a large group.
