In the past, the large was 2 containers. We called and they said no, that's the large now. I was in Moorpark for work with my colleagues and we were looking for a lunch place with specials. Super glad we chose this place, thanks to Yelp. When I walked in the smell of deliciousness hit my face. It was perfect and the food was great. They accommodated eight of us at two separate tables that were side-by-side. We were out of there with time to spare in our lunch hour. I ordered the Penang lunch, medium spice and it was the perfect amount of spice. The lunch came with a small salad, egg roll, rice and Penang curry. The portion size was great for the price. The rest of my coworkers ordered different dishes from the lunch specials menu. I can't believe how delicious the food here is, and it's our take away spot close to home. First off, I want to address anyone that leaves a poor review based on the wait times. Things happen and sometimes you wind up waiting, and that sucks. However, during very busy times in the evening, please give them a little leeway of the ETA - they are small, very busy, and get overwhelmed. I know they are trying their best. Don't expect the same service as a big fancy place with tons of waiters. We've been coming here for 4 years and the owner is very nice lady, along with the other people who work there. I've never been to Thailand (would love to) but find myself comparing their food to other Thai spots we've been to. I seem to always find that everything else doesn't taste as good as it does here. I won't repeat the same mundane words about the following dishes, just simply that I feel like they are made with drugs, because I feel addicted, in the sense that it tastes so.DAMN good. that I will eat past the point of being full. Ordered pickup on a Mon and service was prompt. Had a craving for glass noodles. The Singapore noodles had good flavor from yellow curry, the only gripe is that it had only sprouts, green onions and onions making it not as colorful. The pad woon sen had much more variety of vegetables (mushroom, bell peppers, carrots, zucchini, tomatoes) and the wok frying imparted good flavor. Both dishes complemented each other. I did add my own pickled chilies as both dishes did not have heat to me. If you like your food spicy, do ask for higher heat level or ask for additional condiments. Portions for non-lunch specials are better value despite costing more, I can get 2 meals out of each entree. read more

the food here is so good! every time! for years and years we have gotten take out and everything we have tried has been delicious. our niece is vegetarian and she gets the pumpkin tofu curry. i love the sauce on some rice. my favorite dish is the pad se ew, i just love the sauce on the noodles, my mouth is watering as i type! my husband enjoys several of their different shrimp dishes but especially "shrimp in a clay pot". the tofu fresh rolls are a work of art, so pretty and taste great. love the peanut sauce. the purple rice is a big family favorite. the combo fried rice has lots of meats and tastes fabulous. i never mind if there is a wait because i can hear & see them cooking everything fresh in the kitchen and it is all still hot and delicious when i get it home. the dining area is nicely decorated and there is an attractive patio area for dining as well. service is always friendly and attentive helpful. read more

Unfortunately, the 2 stars are for the 45 min wait for 4 dishes. We were quoted 20 mins at the time of order on Monday night at 5:55pm. I checked in at 30 mins and the gentleman apologized and said it would be 10 more mins. 15 minutes later, a female brought the food out and asked if we needed utensils or hot sauce... no apology. Wanted to try something new and we found a good spot. The service was fast and friendly. The restrooms were clean and the establishment was clean as well. The appetizer plate was amazingly good. The breading they use it scrumptious and it had shrimp, calamari, gyoza, and egg rolls. The pad Thai was also delicious and filling but we shared both of these plates and still had left overs. I had chicken satay with purple rice chef special which included a small green salad with a yogurt based dressing. A small soup, chicken base broth, light and flavorful. I found the servings to be just the right amount. Washed everything down with Thai tea! Loved the nut flavor of the purple rice. Hubby had orange chicken chef special.
