Ring the bell repeatedly. Anyway, this Pizza Hut is located on Portola next to the Pavilions, or at least across from the food court from it. There don't seem to be a lot of staff members there as when people entered they shouted greetings from inside the kitchen. This can be used advantageously for people like us that need the tables for other reasons, since they probably won't be paying attention to how long we're going to get refillable drinks. The party leader of ours ordered verbally though I think they might have had to use the app to get an offer. They paid, since I wasn't in the mood to interact with staff members. We managed to get table service from eating in. The pizza tasted as good as we could probably get from a Pizza Hut. During the entirety of the time we were there, no other customers sat and ate food. They only got takeout. Thus it was very quiet and no one interrupted us. However, there were TVs playing sports games. This plaza has PokéStops and a Pokémon GO gym, but I was too busy interacting with my party members to play. read more

The Pizza Hut at the Orchard Hills Shopping Center in Irvine was the best location I've visited in the U.S. While most other Pizza Huts are small--often lacking tables and offering only a few chairs for a brief wait--this location is spacious and features a patio. It has plenty of tables for dining in, and the walls are lined with multiple TVs showing various sports games, making for a great atmosphere. The place is clean and the staff are friendly, making it a spot I'd love to visit again for a meal. read more

I had one of the worst experiences at this location. It started when I noticed employees inside the kitchen preparing pizza without wearing gloves or following proper hygiene practices. I asked the store manager, Jennifer, who was also the person taking my order, about this issue. She told me that according to new Pizza Hut policies and regulations, employees are not required to wear gloves while making pizza. After placing my order, the order was completely wrong. When I tried to politely explain the issue, Jennifer started shouting in front of my family and behaved in a very unprofessional manner. She even said, "If you want, you can complain to corporate." This was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience for me and my family. I expect better customer service, professionalism, and hygiene standards from the Pizza Hut location. read more

It's sad when your reviews are mostly, bygone era nostalgia goggle memories... Now, private equity is a comin, truly a last nail in the coffin. We ate inside this location once, using the ubiquitous coupons. It felt like a depressing hospital cafeteria, a very old Western on one TV and some "free sports" channel playing who knows what Cricket match. Can honestly say the employees were probably surprised someone was dining in. When you strip something and remodel the crap out of what had some character and Pizazz (pardon the expression) back when times were simpler you are just driving those customers, their kids and grandkids away forever. read more

Everything was way overcooked, the wings had a few drops of sauce (feels like they forgot about it), and was mostly hard breading. The pizza dough was really flat/hard, and tasteless. Ordered the $2 personal pan pizza and, surprise, it didn't come out of a pan at all. Instead, it showed up in one of those flimsy aluminum throwaway trays, like something you'd bake a frozen lasagna in. The crust wasn't fully cooked either -- more "soft dough experiment" than actual pizza. Pizza Hut used to make a proper pan pizza, golden and crispy. Now it feels like they're just phoning it in. This is the best Pizza Hut by far. For the millennials, do you miss how Pizza Hut used to taste from the school cafeteria back in the 90s and early 2000s? Well look no further, this is pure nostalgia (with a little less grease)! We've ordered takeout from here consistently and it has always been solid. Hot, fresh, soft , crispy. Also, the workers are super nice and at least act like they care. I haven't eaten in before, but they have happy hour Mondays for their draft beer. That's pretty awesome for a Pizza Hut! read more

Pizza is good, the crust is always yummy with the perfect amount of crunch and chewiness. If only the pizza had more sauce... They are one of the few places in Irvine that opens late (12 am) which is a definite plus. The place is clean and spacious. read more

Meh, at best. I have ordered from this location almost 10 times, only because it is the closest pizza joint from my house and someone at my household has a craving for Pizza Hut. While the taste isn't bad, there is a lot of room for improvement. For example, they really should not skimp on the toppings. I always order the Supreme pizza. Each ingredient is just scattered here and there, and they are cut thinly as well, leaving me thinking that I am eating pizza-flavored bread, not pizza. Their wings are also meh. I love Pizza Hut for the nostalgia. Growing up we would always get 2 large super supremes once a month and it was a family affair. I'm glad I'm able to do that now with my own kids at a location that's super convenient! The food is always fresh and hot, they're timely. My only peeve is that I've ordered curbside pickup 2 out of the 3 times I've ordered so far and they've never actually brought it out.. and they weren't busy -.- There's only ever 1-2 members working in there but they're just not great at looking at notifications and communicating with each other. Pizza was okay. It's been a while since I've had an old school pan pizza so the taste was nostalgic. The chain is running ads everywhere advertising a $12 large/any topping pizza. Dude pretended he didn't know what I was talking about and sold me the same thing for $14 plus "service fees." I don't understand why he had to swindle me out of the extra $2 but okay dude, I can see why the ratings at this location are sublevel. I am standing in front of him and ordering/picking up the pizza. I don't require anyone to bring it to me or deliver. What service charges have I incurred standing there and telling him what I want?
