    Food Menu & spicy broth
    Ta'Hari J.

What a cool dining experience. Multiple broth selections, good cuts of meat(wagyu options), along with a plethora of veggies, sides, and sauces. The spicy broth is soooo good! They have a huge open dining area that seats a ton of people. Great for big parties! Some of the hot sides: vegetable white rice, Chowmein "like" noodles, spicy sweet koju Jang fried chicken similar to orange chicken. Some cold veggie options I remember seeing : Corn, bok Choi, clams, mussels, scallions, Kimchi etc. Overall $40 a person is totally feasible. Considering it's all you can eat and you can have up to 4 meats at a time at your table. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. They dont always offer more meat if there is still trays on the table so be sure to speak up so you can always have 4 trays of meats.

All That Shabu really lives up to the name - the experience is all that. The restaurant itself is huge with plenty of seating, but even then it can still rack up a long wait, which honestly just says a lot about how popular (and good) it is. It's an all-you-can-eat shabu shabu concept. There's a separate buffet-style area with a really wide selection of appetizers, fresh vegetables, seafood, sauces, and other condiments. The meat quality is solid for AYCE, definitely above average, and the pricing feels fair for what you get. Between the variety, quality, and setup, it feels like good value overall. Service was also great. Staff were attentive, helpful, and kept things moving smoothly even when it was busy. What I appreciated most is that it never felt repetitive. Between the different sauces, sides, and combinations you can create, every bite can taste a little different, which keeps the experience from ever getting boring.

They offer a wide selection of broths, with the spicy one being my personal favorite. Meats are ordered à la carte, while the buffet section includes a variety of vegetables, noodles, and seafood. There's also a ready to eat section with items like japchae and fried chicken. In addition, they have a large selection of beverages and desserts, so there's something for everyone. One thing to note is that the quality of the meat seems to decline with each additional order. We visited around 7:30 PM on a Saturday and waited about 30 minutes. Overall, it's a solid spot for ayce shabu!

Fresh, thinly sliced meats - perfect for shabu! Great variety of meat choices.

Our fav AYCE shabu spot, and we've tried many! Food is fresh, consistent and lots of variety. Great value! It's often packed so recommend arriving early before 5:30pm if you have large parties. The parking lot is large but area is always packed so might have to drive around a few times if you come by during peak hours. They have a large variety of cooked dishes, fresh seafood, thinly sliced (one of the top reasons we come here) fresh variety of shabu meat choices, kim chi, noodle options, tofu, fresh veggies option and other topping varieties to choose from. They have ice cream and sesame balls as dessert options. We like their spicy beef broth and the kids enjoy their miso broth. You can make your own dipping sauce - several options to pick from at their sauce bar. I prefer sesame or peanut dipping sauce. I add vinegar, garlic, green onions, Serrano chili, chili oil, sesame oil to mine. Kids like their ponzu sauce. Service is always great and they are always packed!

I always have to hit all that shabu while i'm in town. the selection for veggies, noodles, soy products, and seafood are excellent. the meat is always fresh, good quality, and comes out quickly. the staff is attentive when it comes to meat and broth refills. sauce bar is not huge but has enough for me to make the perfect dipping sauce. I love this place.

Huge plus-each person had their own pot to add their preferred broth and ingredients! You start by selecting your broth and meat options with your server. For the broth, I opted for half beef bone and the original house. For the meats, I ordered lamb, ribeye, brisket, filet mignon, and beef belly. Then head to the self-serve bar to for appetizers and ingredients. The self serve bar offered a wide range of options, including leafy greens, vegetables, noodles, dumplings seafood, rice cakes, and fish cakes for your hot pot. They also had stations for appetizers, sides, sauces, desserts, and drinks. Not only did they have soft drinks, but also had green tea and sikhye (Korean rice drink), which was all included in the price of $38.99 for dinner. This spacious restaurant can accommodate large parties (we had a party of 10) and provided great service.

Being a shabu shabu fanatic, All That Shabu had to be on my hit list to try in OC. Parking usually isn't too bad as the parking lot is large. Wait time can get long depending if you go during peak time, but they do a good job of managing tables and getting the wait list to move quickly. The restaurant inside is nice and spacious. The meat was fresh, sliced well, and cooked perfectly in the broth. Nothing tasted frozen or low quality, which makes a big difference for shabu. Broth was flavorful without being heavy, however we all agreed in our party that it could use some improvement as it could have been more tasty. The sauce bar had plenty of options to mix things how you like. Service was quick and attentive, and the place felt clean and well-run even when it was busy. Pricing is around $30 on weekdays and up to $39 on weekends/evenings. Note that they do include gratuity automatically for big parties. Overall, solid quality and a spot I'd happily come back to.

Meats galore! Eat to your heart's content!

I've been coming to this location for the past three years and I'm finally getting around to writing because it's probably one of the best shabu restaurants I've been to. The meat and seafood quality consistently triumphs over most spots in the area. Their other selection of other proteins, fresh veggies, buffet items, and noodles is also generous, making the experience memorable. A perk for me is their unlimited refills on drinks: not just soda but other refreshments such as green tea, iced tea, and shikhye (Korean rice punch). Additionally, they have some dessert items such as sesame covered glutinous rice donuts (찹쌀도넛) and some froyo. It's just an all-around experience when it comes to pleasing your palate. The ambience is loud and lively, as you have booths on the side, individual tables in the back and other side, with some communal tables (for larger parties) towards the center of the restaurant. When it's busy, it will get loud. However, the service is always on point. The servers are always alert and moving around, checking whether your need more soup base or meats. They make sure your tables are always full of meat plates. Such a rarity these days. As for prices, it is very reasonable for OC, especially given the quality and quantity you can consume. Parking is also ample, since it is part of a pretty large plaza. During holidays and peak times, you may have to wait for hours. So, if you want to avoid the lines, make sure to come during the weekdays or as soon as it opens (and off-peak hours). Note: lunch service restricts a few meat options. If you want a dependable shabu place with ample options and great quality, make sure you stop by. You won't regret it! A++

I love that there is a pot for each person. Each can then choose their soup flavor rather than the typical one pot for the table. There is a huge variety of sea foods, shrimp, octopus, veggies, noodles, ramen, udon, and some cooked choices. Far too many to mention. The meats are sliced very thin so cooking in the boiling broth takes literally seconds. The dining area is large and spacious which allowed our party of 12 to sit together. Staff is efficient and each does whatever is needed anywhere. Your party will not be seated until everyone is there. No reservations are accepted. To minimize your wait time, come early around 5pm. Lines get long during typical dinner hours. A few seats inside waiting area but none outside. Plenty of parking. It's all you can eat, come hungry.

Great place for a vast amount of food selection. As a food connoisseur I can stay the price point to quality and quantity this place has it right. You can indulge yourself with all the premium meat seafood and veggies, plus included drinks and dessert. On stop shop. Place is clean and good service response. The staff was helpful with giving their recommendations than just let you pick. Overall, you can't go wrong at this place. The wait is abit long when it's meal time but that can give an advantage that you can get an appetite and enjoy your meal. Only bad part is you need to cook your own meal and add the sauce or flavoring. So it's an opportunity for folks who can't cook, but for the rest this is one of the best spots for all shabu.

Hot bar selections: edamame, Korean fried chicken, tempura

Stopped by All That Shabu on New Year's Day and was pleasantly surprised by how fast and efficient the service was. We got seated right away, which is always a win on a holiday. You're greeted with a choice of broth to start. The house broth was a bit on the plain side and could've used more seasoning, but that was easy to fix thanks to their sauce bar with a variety of options. I added some fresh green onions, minced garlic, ponzu, and sesame sauces to help enhance the broth flavor more. For meats, we started off by offering the beef brisket, beef belly, signature beef ribeye, and pork belly. The brisket was hands down my favorite. It was tender, flavorful, and cooked nicely in the broth. The other cuts were solid as well, and overall the meat quality was higher than other shabu spots I've been to. The hot bar and seafood/vegetable bars had tons of options and were well stocked throughout our meal. Another big plus was the built-in, customizable temperature controls at the table, which made it easy to adjust the heat exactly how we wanted without flagging down a server. Overall, a reliable AYCE shabu spot with great variety, thoughtful features, and quick service. A bit on the pricier side, but the meat quality and selection makes up for it. Definitely a place I'd come back to, especially for large celebrations.

I was quite happy with my experience. The restaurant felt very spacious and clean, and the service was on point. We never had to wait for our server to order more meat. They were constantly checking in and asking if we needed anything. Great service overall. Hot bar, veggie bar, and sauce bar: I really loved the hot bar options. There was more variety than at typical AYCE spots, and the quality felt noticeably higher. Meat selection: Pretty standard, but the meat was good quality for AYCE. It wasn't chewy and had nice fat marbling. Broth: This is where I think there's room for improvement. The broths felt watered down and lacked flavor. If I had to pick one, the spicy broth was my favorite since it had some flavor. The house special, sukiyaki, and miso were all quite bland. Overall: It's definitely pricey at around $40 for AYCE dinner. I don't think most people will really make their money back based on how much you can eat.

#1 Brisket (top left), #2 Wagyu Beef Belly (top right), #3 Flat Iron Steak (bottom right), #4 Chuck Eye Steak (bottom left)

My family and I really enjoyed shabu here. They had a variety of meat to choose from. They had a "salad bar" with seafood, noodles, vegetables, various add-ons, and hot food. Food quality was good. They also had drinks and ice cream included - my favorite drink was the rice punch. Service was very tentative and nice. The only drawback was that their broth was just okay. Tip: For broth, get miso + spicy beef for a nice combination of flavor. I got just miso at first and it was kinda plain tasting. Best cuts of meat were #2 Wagyu Beef Belly, #9 All that Shabu, and maybe #4 Prime Chuck Eye Steak. Pick the ones with marbling - those are more tender. * #1 Prime Brisket 3/5 - Okay, tough and chewy * #2 Wagyu Beef Belly 5/5 - Good mix of fattiness and leanness, tender with a bit of chewiness. * #3 Prime Flat Iron Steak 3.5/5 - Good, kinda boring, not very tender. * #4 Prime Chuck Eye Steak 5/5 - Very tender. * #8 Filet Mignon 4/5 - Good, though very lean so boring to eat. * #9 All that Shabu 5/5 - Super tender and tasty. * #10 Angus Chuck Flap 4/5 - Very tender, but slightly gamey for some reasons.

What makes this place truly worth it are their delicious salad options, their warm, house made pita bread, their abundant options of spreads (hummus, baba ghanoush, garlic sauce). The multiple options for mediterranean salads are really what I crave from here. For $22, if I can have a multi course meal featuring 4-5 types of refreshing salads, fish filet, warm pita with hummus, a gyro (assembled on your own with their ingredients), a soft drink, and baklava. Considering the fact that I spend $16 on a combo meal at Carl's Jr or a salad wrap at Sweetgreen, this is truly a no brainer. If you do come here for dinner ($29-33), know that you can special order their braised lamb shank. I like to eat this with the pita bread, some roasted veggies, and one of their delicious spreads, but you do what you like.
