I went here with my friends on a Friday night, and surprisingly we easily got a table for 3. We sat in the very back corner and ordered appetizers right away. This is quite literally the thinnest meat you can get anywhere in shabu shabu. I've never seen such a thin cut, and I actually quite liked it. I would not reccomend if you don't like meats with a fattier ratio though. The pork belly appetizer is way too greasy and oily, but the meal is the real star anyway. They have a solid selection of seafood, veggies, and noodles, (although the crab was a bit fishy), and the spicy broth was quite balanced. The service was good because we were sat right next to their refill/cleaning station, and we got all of our ordered items super quick. The stackers actually weren't that impressive to me, they were good but got cold really quickly which made the texture of the meat a bit chewy. It's a good attraction and I'd probably get at least one if I visit again. The sauce bar was solid, and getting my own pot was also a plus. I LOVED the frozen slushy dessert at the end. We got the Miso soup and bulgogi soup base. Bulgogi was pretty salty. Had to ask to add more veggie soup base to balance out the saltiness. Soup bases were super flavorful! You can actually taste the soup base on the meat you dip before even dipping into the sauces! Impressed! All the meats were actually really good. Forgot which one the server recommended, maybe the prime top blade? That was the best meat but try them all! A few of my favorite things about this place is definitely their beef belly stackers, the side dishes, such as their karaage, fried rice cakes, and the slushies as a treat in the end. This is a go-to spot for AYCE hot pot. For as busy as this place can get, the service is pretty attentive. Casual spot with tables that can accommodate two people to big parties. It has variety of broths (that are refillable) and proteins. The veggie/seafood buffet looks pretty fresh and you can even whip up your own dipping sauces. We like the pork and the spicy broths. The regular dinner menu is enough for us. Get the stackers! The meat is already cooked but a quick dip in your broth or sauce is good to go. The chicken karage is mid. But the crispy pork belly pieces are a hit. New this visit for us was the congee or porridge at the end...a bowl of rice, seaweed and other sprinkly flavorings you add into your broth. I was hesitant at first, as quality often takes a hit with that kind of change, but I'm happy to say the quality has remained consistent before and after the switch. The menu has expanded with additions like the steamed meat stackers and a wide variety of broths, vegetables, seafood, noodles, sauces, and meat and fish balls. The interior is clean and modern, and the vegetable, seafood, and sauce stations are well maintained without the usual mess or spills you sometimes see at AYCE spots. The price point is comparable to other hot pot restaurants--just under $40 per person for dinner. I rarely have to wait for a table, and parking isn't too bad either since it's not in a busy plaza like Diamond Jamboree. I believe $37/person. I like briskets but not many hot pots have them because they're expensive or any other reasons. This place has a very special dish called steamed bacon which is very different, light, and delicious. The veggies bar and seafood bar don't have many choices like Shabuya in Milpitas or Seapot in Sunnyvale. The meats are limited too, but it's OK, the Korean miso soup I had wasn't great, I had to make the soup myself with other ingredients. The services are quite attentive and quick. The place is clean and modern looking. They do have appetizers like fried chicken and pot belly which my brother likes. I think the chicken in Shabuya better.
