We had a decent meal at MOD pizza! We were both craving some pizza before a grocery run, and MOD was perfectly placed in our route. The customer service was lovely and our pie did the job to fill our cravings! Thank you so much!

MOD might be my new make-your-own pizza spot. I've frequented Pieology and Blaze before, but I think this is my new spot. Customer service here is wonderful. They're patient with you as you choose all your toppings. The pizza comes out quick. They give you as many ranch dressings as you like. (As a ranch lover, I greatly appreciate this.) I love the crust of the pizza. I also love that they have marinara and spicy marinara to pick from. Also love their spicy sausage. I enjoyed everything here from start to finish.

Ordered unlimited toppings pizza; chose three toppings. Skimpy.

Via DoorDash, you select your toppings. That said, the toppings were skimpy. I'd appreciate an option to order extra for a fee. It earns three stars for their spicy tomato sauce and exceptional thin crust. The toppings that did show up were good. Packaged well.

I've been a fan of this pizza spot since I tried them back home. I'm happy to have found that there's a few kinda near me. ( please come down to SD) I love the freshness, the topping options and their lemonade. The service is also always pretty good. I'm just really hoping they can open on a bit closer to me in either north county or SD?! Lol. Needless to say, I'm a fan and am willing to make the drive.

I never thought to write a review for Mod, but have always loved them. It's about time I give them their credit. Out of all the make-your-own kind of pizza places I love Mod the best. Their toppings and flavor seem to be tastiest to me. You can get an 11" unlimited toppings pizza for $13.89. Not too bad. I love that they have broccoli as a topping too haha. Service is fast and you can be in and out in maybe 10-15 minutes if there's no line. Not bad for a fresh, piping hot customized pizza.

this is what 40 bucks get you at MOD Pizza

OK, I almost thought it was a joke two baby pizzas and two small cokes plus tip is like 40 bucks. It would cost next to nothing to make these portions decent and you don't really need to charge eight bucks for two small cokes do you ? I'll tell you what I'm never going near that place again very very disappointed. I don't know what you call this other than a gouge.

I've ordered take out from this location a few times but on Sunday we decided to dine in for lunch. The staff here are great. Very efficient and engaged and they seem to get along which is also nice to see. I'm a creature of habit so I always get the same thing here: a mini MOD pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, and an assortment of veggies and the MOD Italian chopped salad. It's the perfect balance and it's actually fairly light so you don't feel overly full. I love how crispy the crust gets, too. Will continue coming back or ordering out! There's plenty of parking since it's located in a strip mall.

How to score a free pizza from MOD Pizza... Well, if you read the entirety of the review and manage to pick up all the little bits and pieces scattered throughout this review, you might be able to score a free pizza, but please don't expect this to work all the time, and especially don't be disappointed if you don't. This MOD Pizza is located in Irvine's Westpark Plaza on the northwest corner of Culver and Alton. If you know where Hmart is, it's in that plaza, but adjacent to Alton. Parking should not be an issue, especially when I went around 8 PM on a Wednesday. There are also a few parking spots dedicated to curbside pickup. There were a couple other customers being serviced when I arrived, so I was on deck to build my pizza. However, I still had to wait several minutes because they were a little short-staffed and slammed with orders in spite of the interior being mostly void of other customers. One employee was handling the in-person orders, and the other was handling the online orders. It took over 10 minutes after stepping inside to finally pay for my pizza. Upon paying, I was trying to redeem a reward on my phone, but scanning the QR code resulted in an error message that almost implied it was used already when it wasn't. Luckily, there was an alphanumerical code underneath the QR code, but the employee grabbed my phone rather than let me hold it out in front of him. At least ask for permission! But that and the extended wait times were the only blemishes in service. I asked how long the wait would be. He estimated 6-7 minutes, which was accurate. I sat at the table next to the napkins for ease of access, and it was helpful because I needed one to give that table a quick wipe. Two tables away, there was a mess that hadn't been cleaned, but the employee who rang me up did clean it shortly after the dinner rush. When I heard my name being called, I asked for two cups of sri-rancha on the side as well as a ranch drizzle on top. The ranch was only drizzled on one half of the pizza while the two sri-rancha sauces were placed on the other side of the pizza. Not quite how I would have wanted it, but I really didn't want to be overly fastidious over something most others would perceive as pedantic. The pizza was great! The crust was nice and crispy^, but not close to burnt. However, it didn't come out as flavorful as I had hoped, so eating the pizza without either of the sauces would have been quite the deprivation. With the thin crust, I was able to fold each slice like a New York style pizza and easily dip into the sri-rancha. The sri-rancha cups weren't filled all the way; I definitely could have used a third cup! These sauces are complimentary, just like at The Stand, so don't be afraid to ask for more if you really need more :) There was a female customer who sat at the next table over, and she was patiently waiting for her pizza. I legitimately felt bad for her because the entire time I ate my pizza, she was waiting for hers, so it felt like she was watching me eat the whole time! The employee by the pickup counter felt bad too that he even offered her a cake on the house, which she declined. A few minutes later, her mini pizza was ready for pickup, and that employee gave her a card for a free MOD-size pizza or salad on her next visit as a token of apology for the extended wait. Patience really is virtue, especially if it results in another pizza that is almost 3.5 times larger than the pizza you originally ordered. Yet nothing for me? Well, I ordered in person, and she ordered online. Plus, that employee wouldn't have known about my extended wait. My pizza was great also, so there was no way I was deserving of such a voucher. The table I was sitting at was directly underneath a ceiling fan, and that caused the napkins to easily fly away from the table. I had to keep a watchful eye to make sure I wasn't littering the dining area with napkins without even touching them lol. I used the restroom before I left, and while I appreciated how clean it was inside, I thought the music was playing quite loud in the restroom even though it was at an acceptable volume level elsewhere in the restaurant. I think they're habitually slow, so remember to bring lots of patience! I saw a customer pick up her online order right when I left, but it was ready shortly after my pizza was ready. Perhaps a sign that she was anticipating the pizza to be done *much* later than scheduled? I also asked for a water cup upon paying. However, the water was dispensed with such force that I had to be careful so as to not spill anything on the floor. Overall, it was a good visit to this MOD Pizza, and I hope they're here to stay. They closed a handful of locations earlier this year, including one in Long Beach, likely due to the minimum wage hike, and I hope these closures will cease for good. ^ I asked for my pizza to be baked well done to get that nice crispy crust. If you prefer crispier crusts, I recommend doing this.

Eric was absolutely amazing. Ordered online and I guess he made my order wrong but gave me the pizza he messed up for free with the correctly made version. Amazing customer service and attitude. Was having a bad day, and just wanted some pizza and I felt all staff went above and beyond with their attitude, service, and job. Store was super clean, and service was super fast too! Will be coming back

Definitely one of the better build your own pizza places (Blaze, Pieology, Pizza Press, etc.). Got the build your own MOD dough, thinner flat crust dough for $12. I really like how they have a bunch of different toppings and sauces! I really liked the chicken sausage and plant based sausage. I did a mix of mozzarella and Gorgonzola cheese and it was so good! Would definitely give this place a try if you're craving a build your own!

Pretty good for this kind of pizza. The staff was friendly and the service was fast.

This location always has awesome customer service. Clean environment. Easy parking. Nate built our pizzas, I wish he could always make it. It was the best pizza we've ever had here. Attention to detail and a perfect bite everytime.

    So good! Veggie pizza
