It seemed she did not want to remake it which was confusing because why would i pay money for something i didn't ask for ? +The customer prior to me also let her know he didn't order what they gave him & he just left taking this order (which i think was mine) and when it came to my group when i let her know this wasn't what i ordered she gave me a "whatever" face? I was so confused there was no customer service to want to fix my order? Blaze pizza was a great lunch pick for a quick and easy meal. We ordered half pepperoni and half olive pizza. The crust was super crispy which was great but a little burnt on the bottom and we think because they were trying to make it crispy. The cheese was slightly greasy but still acceptable. Price point was just right for a custom pizza. The service was great, chipotle line style ordering. The tables were clean when we got there and we had our tummy's full before we knew it. Really fast service, got our food pretty quickly. They raised their prices so it's now around 10$ for a basic pizza. But overall the food still holds up and the sizes are fairly reasonable. There is plenty of seating and it is right next to the bridge to UCI if you are a student. read more

I haven't had Blaze pizza since college and honestly it was as good as I remembered. Definitely a little pricier now at $14/build your own pizza but inflation be like that. Customer service was great, very fast and efficient. They didn't skimp on the toppings and the dining area was clean. Pizza was still crispy and not soggy the next day despite being thin crust. I came in to see if they offered gluten free with no cross contamination and the lovely staff member was nice and informed me they did and would change gloves!! I got so excited because nothing beats fresh pizza. I loved customizing my pizza and getting all the veggies they offer with pesto to top it off. This Blaze location has the advantage of being next to UCI and so students frequent this location, so it is a very popular location and for whatever reason I find the pizza made here to be made better than at many other Blaze locations. I get the Veg-Out 11" personal size, to which I just googled and discovered has been removed from the menu! So it looks like I will have to order a custom pizza from now on. Also, they used to put zucchini on the Veg-Out but a few years ago told me it was seasonal and I never saw it again. Now I see a NEW vegetarian pizza with cauliflower and I am seriously disappointed. I do eat cauliflower steamed at home but find it very off putting for pizza, so I am not at all liking the flavor profile of the NEW pizza which appears to have replaced the Veg-Out. Blaze Pizza was my favorite place to get pizza when I was in college. It is in a very convenient location near campus but that means it can also have a long line. To avoid the long line, I would order online through their app and pickup at the restaurant. If you go pretty frequently or want to get their deals once in a while, you can sign up for their rewards system on the mobile app. The restaurant has a lot of seating inside and outside. I've tried the signature pizzas like meat eater a couple times before and they were delicious. Often, I build my own 11-inch pizza with the different options for dough, sauce, meat, veggies, cheese, and finishes (love the arugula and balsamic glaze!). Overall we had a good experience here. It was a Saturday afternoon, around 4:30 pm. The restaurant was a bit busy. Parking here can be a bit hectic because it is located in the UCI food area! Lots of other options around. The staff was friendly and quick with our order. You make your own pizza. Ingredients look fresh and love the pizza oven style. They have inside and outside seating with some shade. The pizzas were actually really good, crunchy, and good amount of toppings. The ice machine was out of ice, even after we told the workers there. Second pizza, although the order on top of the box was correct, the pizza was not -- had NO CHICKEN, NO BBQ drizzle making it inedible. I sent in a review to the management but no answer back. The one female server taking your order is so nasty for no reason at all. When you come in it's like the darkness fault upon this restaurant because of this lady. It's very difficult to take. The pizza itself is great. But having to interface with somebody this nasty takes joy out of coming here. I asked her if she's upset she said no this is how I am. Have been here many times since they first opened their UTC location, but ordered for the first time online last night. I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the process was! We were hosting a party with guests who had kosher and halal dietary practices, and it was a huge relief to find a pizza joint that has plain and simple ingredients. The pizzas themselves are a solid 3.5/5 but the order and pickup process was 5/5. We first ordered 3 pizzas, but they stood no chance against a pack of hungry swimmers. I quickly ordered another two pizzas and a garlic cheesy bread, and by the time I pulled up into the lot they were done! It is really convenient to have a separate pickup area from the ordering area, so I can immediately grab my food and go. Shoutout to the staff! They made the process so simple and easy. If you're dining there, it's in a really convenient spot and the food is pretty good. Personally, I like to grab a slice at blaze and then walk around with friends for boba. The interior's clean and nice, and it's mainly families and teens hanging out. Great spot! read more

I think management needs to change, as this place is quite understaffed for the volume of orders they get. There's a worker per area ( sauce +crust, meat+ toppings, cashier, toppings), but a lot of their toppings are unavailable, the floors are dirty & workers only have time to run around to get pizza plates. The signs for toppings are no longer placed at the right location. There's no parmesean, chili or half boxes as they used to, the trash cans are overflowing. The ice machine is broken in that it pours out ice and adds to the mess. Overall the workers may seem a little burnt out, but are nice and do their job as they are supposed to , I just think they need more staff or better management to implement a cleaning schedule for health standards.
