Ordered the Santorini Bowl with gyro and left me more than satisfied! Alex was very kind when taking my order and also took the time to check in on me after I received my food. Thanks Luna Grill and Alex! read more

Came here for lunch after church, I will say Luna Grill in general is starting to grow on me. I enjoy the variety of options the restaurant has to offer (salads, plates, wraps). This location specifically is located in the UTC they have seating inside and outside. The staff is super friendly we ordered our food "for here" and the staff brings your food to your table. Our food came out hot and fresh, the pita was so warm. I love their fries since they are not too salty and they are the perfect amount of crisp. I typically get the beef kabob and rice and everything tasted delicious as always read more

This is the 2nd time my wife and I have eaten at this location in the last 10 days...and each time we have discussed how impressed we were with the service! The 1st time the young lady working the register was fantastic with not only us, but the following guests, making suggestions and answering all our questions (and we had plenty) with a smile. Today the young lady(Paige?) that helped us out was excellent at the counter, and then circled back with ALL guests in the dining room, checking in on our needs, and the experience. Another guest, unprompted, mentioned to her that the service was great. Our compliments to the leadership team, and the culture they have developed. read more

My first time here and I had an amazing experience! Alex helped me order and suggested the chicken plate so I went with that. It was phenomenal. Chicken is very tender and sauces are full of flavor! Food came out quick, staff is super helpful, and the menu has a lot of exciting options. Can't wait to come back here and try the other sides. read more

Service & Staff Was Great, The Place was Clean, I order the Gyro Plate The Gyro itself was Extremely Salty

Paige took our order with a smile on her face the whole time! We ordered to-go and ended up changing our minds and she still checked in on us! The restaurant was clean and calm. We will return if/when we're craving Mediterranean. read more

Paige was very attentive. My kabob plate was delicious and fresh. I will definitely be back again.

I placed an order on the App for a customer meeting but had some last minute changes. I called the store and spoke to a very friendly and helpful female who made the request very seamless and easy. She was extremely enthusiastic on the phone and made the late changes for me with no issues. What a pleasure and will definitely be placing another order with them soon! read more

This restaurant is situated in the Irvine Market Palace. I appreciated how fresh all the ingredients were, and the service was both fast and friendly. While the portions are on the smaller side, and it's perhaps not the most authentic Mediterranean cuisine I've tried, it's still a good option for lunch! read more

Danielle the supervisor/manager was absolutely amazing. I have been here many times and I am always so in awe of her customer service skills. Earlier this year, I brought my mom here to try Mediterranean food for her very first time, and Danielle was very attentive and patient with my mom's inquiries. Always happy to see her! Very disappointing experience. Ordering pickup was unnecessarily complicated -- we were forced to download the app and create an account when all we wanted to do was place a simple order. We ordered the Mediterranean Macro Bowl, the Chicken Kabob & Gyro Meat Plate, and The Classic Pita. The Classic Pita was fine, but nothing memorable and certainly not enough to bring us back. The Macro Bowl was a soggy, flavorless mess with very little meat and dry chicken. The Chicken Kabob & Gyro Plate was the biggest letdown; the gyro meat was paper-thin and so dry it was almost like cardboard, and the chicken was charred and dry as well. With so many better Mediterranean options available, we won't be returning. read more

For international students in the US, eating is harder than exams. In the difficulty coefficient of survival, the technical skill of ordering takeout far surpasses most open-note multiple-choice exams--especially when you're like me, without a driver's license, confining your radius of activity to a five-scooter battery, while your stomach yearns for the simple pleasures of life. Wandering through UTC, I was drawn to a colorful Greek grill. After a $200 dive into the unknown, I gradually figured out the survival rules of Luna Grill. Their signature chicken breast seems to be a test of willpower, specially designed for fitness enthusiasts. As I stared at this pale, stubborn piece of protein, I suddenly understood why bullfrogs are so fond of sharing inspirational quotes--without a bit of mental fortitude, it's truly hard to reconcile with a texture that's tough yet not tender, and dry yet not fragrant. As a non-fitness person, my first impulse after finishing was to bow in salute to all my friends who lift weights. Their rice, on the other hand, is a modern art form in the world of grains. It's neither as soft and glutinous as Asian rice nor as loose as basmati. Every grain maintains its stubborn independence, as if declaring to you: "We refuse to be defined, and we refuse to be cooked." This semi-raw texture, paired with the equally eccentric chickpea fritters, is like participating in an obstacle course in your mouth. It's hard to swallow, and hard to spit out. But the most exciting part is the sauce blind box. The Harissa sauce is like a watercolor painting where the artist mistakenly used chili powder as paint, and the Garlic Fetta is just pungent. That is, until I met Tzatziki--the yogurt sauce mixed with chopped cucumber, which finally became a sanctuary for my taste buds. Paired with the burrata salad hiding peaches and pecans, it's a perfect balance of sweet and savory, bringing maximum happiness. I finally get it: ordering at Luna Grill is like choosing classes; you can't just rely on the course description, you have to check the reviews. But compared to the perpetually soggy takeout fries (a sincere suggestion: fry lovers, just navigate directly to In-N-Out), at least the shrimp and grilled vegetables here can help me maintain a basic love for life. read more

Food and service is always great at this location. Our team member was Alex and did a great job of taking care of our customizations on our lunch bowls. Very helpful and patient. We come here for lunch often and always love how friendly everyone is and how clean the restaurant is. read more

I know it's a chain, and I know it's on or at least across from the UCI campus so you would expect it to be a little bit rundown, and maybe not so good... However, I've been here dozens of times and I've always found the staff to be friendly, the restaurant to be clean, and the food to be consistent quality. I've been here early right when they open up and also late in the day right before closing and I feel like they run a very consistent establishment and the portions are decent size and the options are also decent. If you've never tried a Luna grill, try this one. read more

Luna Grill at University Center is a solid spot for Mediterranean food, though the dining space is pretty small and often filled with UCI students studying. There can be a line, but ordering ahead on the app makes things much easier. The portions here are huge, so definitely come hungry or plan to take leftovers. Great option for a quick and filling meal! read more

The first time I ever went to a Luna Grill, it was in San Diego and the experience wasn't quite good, but we decided to give it a try to this branch in UCI and we changed our opinion! The food is healthy, balanced and delicious, the service is great, we came twice with the same manager and she is just a great human being. Thanks and thanks for treating our little girl so kindly read more

Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill. The portions have noticeably gotten smaller, especially considering the $20 price tag. The rice was undercooked and had an unpleasant flavor, which made up most of the dish. The chicken portion was disappointing as well--only three to four small chunks of chicken breast. To make matters worse, the cucumber and tomatoes were old and wilted, clearly past their prime. Overall, the quality does not match the price, and it feels like costs are going up while quality continues to decline. read more

Luna Grill is a solid choice for chicken kebabs. I placed my order online and my food was ready when I arrived. The Chicken Kabob Plate ($15.79) had big chunks of chicken that were nice and moist. It came with a choice of either pita or multigrain flatbread, sauce and hummus. Service is very friendly and helpful! Parking in the lot. read more
