I had the midnight munchies and decided to grab some pizza. It was my first time trying Pizza Guys, and I had a really good experience. The service was great, and the food came out pretty quickly. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and it was really good. The bottom wasn't super crispy, which I honestly didn't mind, and overall, I couldn't ask for much more from a classic pepperoni pizza. I also got their bone in chicken wings in two flavors, Frank's RedHot Buffalo and Honey BBQ, and they were phenomenal. When I got to the restaurant, those wings were so hot you can see the steam when you open the box. The wings weren't really crispy, but they were packed with flavor, so I didn't even care. We always get their advertisement in our apartment so we've been wanting to check them out for awhile and we are so glad we did! I downloaded the app and they had a large 2 topping pizza with a side of ranch for $18 which came out to $22 with tax. We got a pepperoni and sausage pizza to try. I didn't wait long for my pizza after putting in my order and driving 10 min. We really loved the pizza. I loved the sausage and we were a big fan of the overall flavor. Got to try this spot out, I tried the cupped pepperoni pizza with garlic cheese bread as crust, at least that's how it tasted. Overall the sauce had a strong taste to it, slightly overpowered, not bad. The pizza overall was decent slop, typical game night pizza for guests. The crust was actually pretty solid, I don't think it needed the cheese stuffed inside though, not really a fan of that, just extra calories in my opinion. Initially, I was hoping to sample their pizza but learned that they don't offer pizzas by the slice; I was so impressed by the person assisting me, that I'd returned the following day, as promised (service can make it or break it for me)! Ordering online is easy -- and love that their pizzas are completely customizable (e.g., sizes, type of crust, whether to include/omit ingredients, request separate ingredients on each half, etc.)! On a following unplanned visit, we ordered at the counter and waited (which wasn't long, at all; they offer a few chairs to comfortably wait inside). I found the staff impressive (especially for a fast-food, take-out place): positive-&-energetic, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and genuinely seeming to enjoy what they do; we had the pleasure of being assisted by (according to the receipt) Thong, an amazing representative for Pizza Guys, exuding positive energy! Our first time trying Pizza guys. They were super nice and the store was clean as a whistle. We ordered cheesy pizza rolls and a chicken spinach flatbread. We were pleasantly surprised! The flat bread wasn't the super flat cardboard flat bread. It said it was for 2 people and that was true! The crust was fluffy and filling. Got the pepperoni rolls, which we really liked as well. I assumed they had cheese, pepperoni and marinara/pizza sauce but there was no sauce in them. We ordered ranch as the dipping sauce but next time if they have a side or marinara I'd do that. Bonus when it's your first visit at Pizza guys you get a FREE 2 liter soda! Good to note there is no seating to enjoy your pizza in the store so I'd suggest ordering ahead to pick up and go. The pizza is actually pretty good for chain store pizza. A bit overpriced, but worth it when they run their 2 for 1 deals. Problem is they're slow and unorganized. The last two times I ordered and got there exactly at pick up time. Both times they had me waiting over 30 minutes before my pizza was actually ready. Most recently I when I got there they told me my pizza was "in the oven." 20 minutes later, I finally see them put it in the oven. ‍It wasn't even busy, and orders that came in after mine were ready way before mine. So overall, pretty solid chain pizza when they're running a promo and if you have nothing better to do than sitting there waiting and scrolling through your phone for 30 minutes. read more

Pizza Guys in Tustin on Red Hill was a good choice for us the other day . It's been hit and miss on many pizza joints lately . We have been customers of Pizza Guys since they opened, but they have officially lost our business. The service is awful. At least half the time they screw up something, it's usually forgetting sauces we've purchased, but also messing up orders and constantly an hour later than stated delivery time with cooled food. When we call them out on their mistakes, the customer service is completely inadequate. read more

Very disappointed with this experience. It took over two hours for my order. After waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes, I called to check on it and the girl who answered was rude and dismissive, insisting I had only ordered 55 minutes ago, even though I had proof it had been almost two hours. She even said, "Do you want me to explain it so you can understand?" which was completely disrespectful. I asked to speak to the manager (I think his name is Chase). When I called again at the two-hour mark, the girl answered still with an attitude, I was told they had to remake my order. Then the girl handed the phone to Chase, He apologized, but never explained why this happened after such a long wait. I asked to cancel my order, but instead of honoring that, he kept pushing a 40% discount. At that point, I was just tired, hungry and defeated. We regularly spend $120-$150 on pizza every other Sunday, and trying to find the best pizza around there, but after this experience, we will not be ordering again. I did like one of the pizza I ordered, but I refuse to put myself in that situation again. The issue wasn't just the delay, it was the lack of professionalism and respect on handling this.
