Upon entering I was greeted with a smile and a welcome! I had never been to a "customize your own pizza" type place before and the workers were so lovely and kind at explaining to me how everything worked. Sage and Tanner both helped me out creating my pizza and it turned out delicious! Even though it was busy my pizza came out incredibly quick. Everything was very clean and the prices were very fair. My wife and I had a pleasant time here on a Saturday around 2 pm. Not busy at all. Clean place. Inside and outside seating available! Prices were decent I thought. It's about $10 for a 11" pizza. One star experience. Ordered two pizzas for takeout. Both of them were thrown together terribly and not fully baked. One of the pizzas that was supposed to have extra cheese literally had no cheese at all... seriously zero cheese. I learned a personal lesson in this... always check your order before leaving the shop no matter how bing of a hurry you are in. No cheese on a pizza really makes the ingredients standout more on their individual merits. I'll just say I realized how much lower quality the ingredients became in the last few years. We used to love MOD pizza, but haven't been to one in a few years. After throwing the majority of the pizzas we ordered in the trash because how they were, I just as well could have just thrown $20 directly in the trash and saved myself the time. Three kids in their late teens or early 20's probably shouldn't be left to run the shop. Dude didn't know to put the vegan cheese on last cause it doesn't melt well. Found this place on Yelp & it looked promising. We walked up and there was trash everywhere on the outside tables which was a flag we shouldn't have ignored. Upon entering, the girl at the front looked at us, and walked away. The workers in the back looked at us, and then continued doing whatever they were doing. This MOD pizza is a solid build-your-own pizza spot with reasonable prices, friendly service, and comfortable seating. I came in pretty hungry and the MOD size was just right for me. I got the standard thin crust which was fine but would prefer a thicker softer crust. I like that you can add whatever toppings you want and customize each pizza to everyones preference. I also appreciate the variety of refillable quality fountain drinks like the blackberry lemonade, sweet teas, and mini ice. Dont forget to get the "No Name Cake" Dessert - if you like chocolate cake this was surprisingly good. Super moist with white creme filling and wrapped in rich chocolate goodness. They don't have the best tasting pizza around but get high marks for everything else mentioned. In my book its 5 stars. read more

The place has great pizza. But that is burying the lede. They have ding dongs. No - not the joke that the current hostess brand sells which is a caricature of its formers self - really good ones - just like many of us grew up on. The pizza is definitely in the same league as Sal's across the street but you can get whatever you want and customize more than those places where each ingredient is another $3. The people were very nice too - make you feel like you're welcome there - courteous and knew what they were doing. This is a solid place to get a fast-bake pizza. You can have them make it with whatever toppings you choose, assembly line style, or choose one of the house specialties off the menu on the wall. On this occasion I chose a house special - the Mad Dog. The Mad Dog is made with mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage and ground beef. I also added black olives. I went with the smallest size (mini) but they have two larger size choices if you so desire. There are a handful of tables inside and one long communal table. Lots of patio seating. I came at a busy lunchtime and snagged one of the last indoor tables on a rainy day. My pizza was ready in about five minutes; they yell out your name to come pick it up at the counter. It was a good pizza but has an extremely thin crust that is incapable of holding the ingredients when you pick up a slice. You have to fold a slice over in order to keep it from drooping and loosing the toppings. Flavor-wise it was enjoyable. I also tried their dessert, the "no name cake". It was wrapped in silver foil and is - plain and simple - a ding dong. But the chocolate coating is a bit thicker and has a stronger chocolate flavor. You'll like it if you like ding dongs and don't expect anything more than that. Way overpriced though. read more

Tried MOD pizza for the first time and I was really impressed. Here is the hook : You can order a large pizza and add as many toppings as you want for one flat price of $8.47 ! It is a Chipotle style assembly line for pizza. The pizza was delicious. Holly got her own and I got my own so no arguing over toppings ! We only could eat about half of the pizza so we had breakfast and lunch for the next day. The service was great and helpful. They have a super hot oven so the pizza was ready in 5 minutes. Food was good and the guys were courteous, but the restaurant and drink station is really dirty. This is a big deal with my wife, so I hope that they read this and do something about it.
