    Pepperoni pizza.
    Bob S.

First time here! I loved my pizza very much because it was so delicious, the service was super nice, the ambiance was amazing, and I had a great time.

Bad experience at this pizza place.

Worst service when it came to ordering a fresh slice. They tried selling me a pizza that was sitting out for 40+ minutes without being under a heat lamp. They refused to sell me fresh pizza. Just like there slogan says on there apron. "Fresh every day" only to find out that they had other pizza wholes/slices sitting for longer than an hour. I kinda asked for them to make it again but they refused. Saying that they have to sell what out in display before they can make a fresh batch. Ridiculous.

    Sausage pepperoni is glistening.

Definitely very bad service and the food wasn't fresh. I don't recommend this place; the salads looked dry.

JADEN our server was terrific, he couldn't have been any better, he was truly exceptional and made us want to go back. This was our first time here, and we were looking for someplace new to try. All our dinners were incredible, the chef really has a great hand in seasonings, since everything was so very tasty and delicious. The portions were plentiful, and came with a salad. We already decided what we would all get from the menu on our next visit. You can't go wrong here, it was packed and the take out orders were going in and out the whole time we were there. Be sure and ask for Jaden!

Bread with butter along with oil and vinegar were provided as we browsed the menu. Service was very friendly although on the slower side for both the food preparation as well as follow up service. Each of our entrees came with a large side salad to start which had a nice dressing. We got two pasta dishes and a pizza. I selected fettuccine noodles for the shrimp rosa. The pasta was well cooked, and the sauce was a good balance of spicy, acidic, and rich from the cream sauce. The shrimp weren't overcooked and the portion sizes were generous enough for us to have leftovers of all the dishes. The pizza is a thicker base similar to a new haven style pizza. The dough had a nice chew and generous portion of toppings. We ordered the tiramisu for dissert which wasn't too our taste. It was incredibly dense with an overpowering amount of alcohol in it. Presentation was great and the portion was generous, but we wouldn't get it again. Incredible value for all the items especially considering the nicer atmosphere and great service.

It had been about 15 years since I'd been here and it was amazing then and it's amazing now. We ordered four dishes and shared them all and we were blown away. I'm so glad I have leftovers to look forward to. We had the Carciofi e Pomodoro, Rigatoni con Petite di Pollo, Rigatoni alla Vodka, and lasagna. All fantastic. The sauces are on another level. The sauce with the chicken rigatoni is insane in particular.. the kind of thing you take one taste of and you're just in heaven. I could just dip bread in sauce and be happy. Oh and the portions are huge! Service was excellent. Amanda was very kind and helped me figure out a dish I had had there years ago. The food was ready when I arrived and was still hot when I got home. The atmosphere here is so friendly and truly feels warm and inviting. Can't recommend it enough! Thank you!

The young guy who served me both times was genuinely very nice and clearly capable. The problem is he seems to be the only person actually doing anything. He's running around handling everything while several other employees just stand there. It's honestly mind-baffling. He deserves better than this place. That's about as kind as I can be, because the food was terrible. Calling this Italian food is generous. Calling it Italian at all feels like an insult to Italy, its culture, and its food. The chicken piccata was vulgar. Low-quality chicken and nothing even remotely close to what chicken piccata is supposed to taste like. The lemon sauce was overly lemony and somehow watered down at the same time. The minestrone soup tasted like bell pepper water. I ordered it because my throat was sore and I needed something soothing, and I couldn't even finish it. Even with bad taste buds, I could tell how bad it was. The bread that came with it tasted stale and old. I didn't touch it. The salad tasted like it existed just to technically be called a salad. No flavor, and nothing worth eating. The creamy Italian dressing was somehow the worst part, which is impressive since I usually like creamy Italian. This place is embarrassing to call Italian. I genuinely question anyone who leaves good reviews for food this subpar. I get that there aren't many Italian options in the area, but that doesn't mean people should waste their hard-earned money here. A can of Chef Boyardee would honestly be better. I didn't even take pictures of the food because I was so disturbed by the taste. Never going back.

So firstly, my husband and are usually sushi fanatics, and it's the one thing we choose most of the time when we eat out. I'm so glad we came here - the quality of this small and quaint restaurant blew me away. Everything is fresh, apparently imported from Italy, recipes are authentic, and it sure feels that way. The bread OMG. The house made pasta. Everything is just wonderful and complements each other. Nothing is oily or salty, and radiates high quality ingredients. We had the bruschetta, the zucchini blossoms, the rosemary foccacia, clam pasta, seafood pasta, and branzino. Everything was amazing, and the service was, too. And I need to mention again that their pastas are HAND made. And you can taste it. Perfect texture. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the coffees as the machines were off for the night (we came late and they couldn't be kinder as to accomodate us when we became the last people in the restaurant), but the tiramisu was absolutely delicious. Not soggy, not oversweet, just a perfect balance of flavour. The restaurant is small and gets busy, so please be patient with them. Make reservations if time is an issue.

Located in Laguna Hills on Cabot Road between Crown Valley and Oso Parkways, Mangi Con Amore is hands down the BEST place for real Italian food. The Caprese Salad was so good! The fresh mozzarella was just that... fresh, unlike what you get at other places. The tomatoes, basil, and right amount of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and black pepper make this a great appetizer. The Spinach Ricotta Ravioli was so tasty, especially since it was literally made to order! Filled with creamy ricotta, fresh spinach, parmesan and romano cheeses and perfectly seasoned. You can select from 5 different sauces, the Arrabiata sauce was devine! The Meat Lasagna Bolognese is the bomb! Best I've ever had. Filled with premium ground beef, perfectly seasoned and layered with cheese and covered with the house made marinara sauce, and topped with parmesan cheese. Trust me, if you can't finish it, it makes a great lunch leftover! The Garlic Bread is made to order with homemade garlic butter and is served HOT. And finally, the Cannoli's were AMAZING! These are also made to order, as I saw Michelle filling them before she served them. All the food is served hot and with a smile from owner Michelle, who is truly amazing and very friendly.
