Decided to order from this location. I didn't know this was a franchise. Was in a mood for some calzones, which isn't frequent, so decided to order takeout. The calzones are pretty large! The Hawaiian calzone was mediocre, as the pineapple wasn't as juicy. I was expecting it to taste a bit different, but overall, it was still good. The calzones were fresh and hot! They paired well with the side of marinara sauce. I really liked the mushroom only calzone, and the rest of my family enjoyed the sausage and mushroom calzone. The dough wasn't salty either, so it paired well with the inner contents. I will certainly order from them again the next time I am craving calzones!

They're always carrying a sweet smile and have such amazing service As for the food, I tried the olivich and this sandwich was outstanding, I 100% recommend. The bread is perfectly toasted up, the chicken is juicy, the veggies are fresh, the fries/chips added add a perfect crunch, plus the sauce they add has an incredibly savory flavor to it!! One of my all time favorite sandwiches. Paired the food up with some hot chai and pistachio baklava with drizzled honey, definitely try if you're very into sweets!! 10/10

Ordered the salad and the Olivich sandwich with meat. I noticed several customers going up to the counter to check on their food, so figured they were pretty overwhelmed but after waiting 40min for 2 items, and getting no follow-up from a gentleman who said he was going to check on my order (I saw him leave instead), I asked them to cancel my order. The guy told me to give him 5 min. to get it done. I was happy to get my food 10min later! This is where my disappointment happens.... After waiting 50min for a salad and a sandwich, they forgot to put the dressing in the bag and according to the menu, the sandwich should have been on a baguette but it was on more like a French roll. Tasty, but I love baguettes which is why I ordered it. Maybe a "I'm sorry" piece of baklava would have made the experience a little better? Next time I will turn around and leave if they are really busy. Better to go on a slow night.

Quality/Quantity: The food here is sooooooo good. We had a pretzel which was the greatest ever by a mile. It was buttery, salty, and soft. World's greatest pretzel for sure. Also, got the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich which was delicious. We also got a burger that was cooked perfectly and served brioche bun. Lastly, we had the brownie with ice cream which was also amazing. Overall the food was really tasty. The serving sizes here are really good. Value: Pricing seemed very fair to me. Overall: I'm a huge fan of this spot. I plan to come back and try their breakfast which is on Sundays. They have a lot of additional unique and fun activities here (see picture). Very cool ambience here folks. Can't wait to return.

I came on a Saturday night and was very busy so we had to wait in line for a while, but our food came pretty quickly. I got the turkey bacon, avocado sandwich, and it was delicious! The one thing that I was kind of surprised was that they did not have fries as a side you get chips for the side so that was kind of a negative, but not a bad thing My husband ordered the burger and he said it was amazing as well! The ambience is super fun, we were watching game seven of the Dodgers and that was really cool. I will definitely be coming back!

Loved the amount of spinach and cheese on top, and the crust was perfectly crispy and piping hot. The cheese slice was a good classic cheese slice, not much to say lolz. Service was friendly! The pricing here is also great, they have all-day lunch special deals. One thing I will say is that I only got two slices, and only found out after I paid that I was charged for the combo of two slices plus a drink that I didn't really need. I wonder if there is an option to only pay for the pizza? Nevertheless it was still a great piece and I enjoyed the pizza here.

It was inside a Comfort Inn (not a place well known for their cuisine). There was a modest sign for Social Aroma on the sidewalk that had seen better days, so I was not sure what to expect. Well, the cover definitely did not match the book inside! This place was excellent!. I was seating in the same space used for the hotel breakfast, but the combination, Greeter, Waiter, Cashier guy was friendly and answered all my questions while I had a glass of Chardonnay . I had a Lamb Vindaloo at Indian Spice levels with the Chili Garlic Naan and wow! The spice level was just right - after the first 2 spoonfuls I was about to ask for some additional chili. My eyes teared up on the 3rd bite and then it was fire all of your guns at once and explode into space! Really, really good with excellent heat and fantastic flavors. The lamb was very tender and tasty. I would highly recommend the Social Aroma. While the setting is a bit modest, their menu is extensive and my choice made me wish that I had the capacity to try something else, but that will have to wait until next time. If you like Indian food, you need to visit the Social Aroma.

I was sold on everything Jesse suggested. For drinks, we shared a bottle of light, crisp Borgo Canedo Sauvignon Blanc, and an Italian style Pilsner called Webb's, which is brewed locally in Aliso Viejo. Focaccia Pugliese & Gluten Free Focaccia were both good! The GF version had more of a light biscuit texture but both had a soft interior with a crisp outer layer. The Basil-Ricotta Spread with pistachio went really well with them too. Insalata Lattuga - baby romaine, lemon, anchovy bread crumbs, Grana Padano cheese with creamy herb dressing - fresh, crunchy and well balanced Mandilli di Seta - very unique handkerchief shaped pasta with lemon cream and pesto drizzle Agnolotti - ricotta and garlic filled pasta with asparagus, spring onion and guanciale - complex flavor profile and textures! The Lasagna and Rigatoni alla Bolognese were classic and authentic. Their bolognese includes beef, pork and veal. Chef Marco came out with the Parmigiano Reggiano Wheel and prepared the Mushroom Risotto in it, mixing all the ingredients and scraping the cheese off the sides while he served it. It was rich, creamy and not too salty. I didn't know the wheel is nearly $1k! We tried all the desserts! Among the Affogato, Gelato, Panna Cotta, Tiramisu and Torta Pasticiotto, the Panna Cotta stood out the most with savory basil infused in the cream with crispy caramelized sugar and pine nuts and fresh strawberry puree. Second runner up was the Affogato for me. The restaurant has a clean, modern design. It's not too spacious inside, but the party of 10 of us sat comfortably in the covered patio area. Service was excellent. The food and drinks came out quickly and bussers were on top of picking up empty plates and refilling water. Aliso Viejo is lucky to have such a special Italian restaurant!
