This place has been around forever it used to an old lamppost. I have been going there since I was a kid. Recently we came here for a team party to start or upcoming season. It was mid week around 6 so it wasn't to packed. We walked in ordered some food and drinks and within 15 mins we had food. The service was quick and the food was good. I like the pizza, it reminds of Tony pepperoni. The salads are decent. The Greek was a bit plain for me and the BBQ was good but needed more chicken for the $15.99 price tag. I didn't try the wings, but they do look very good so next time I go, I'll have to order them. The place is great for kids because they do have arcade games and they seem to work better than the ones that Tony pepperoni andBallpark. Mixed review here. First off, these are pricey pizzas and I'm ok with paying for HIGH quality. First time, I dined in and pizza was fantastic. Crust was puffy and crisp, cheese was great, and toppings were meh. Second time dining in was trying the "lunch special" and it was terrible. You get it right out of the wheel by the register. That's great for speed but crust was flat, no rise, and had a cardboard flavor and toppings were just ok. Finally, gave them one last shot for take out experience. Ordered on a Fri night, picked up just as it came out of the oven, and was not impressed. Toppings were the same but the crust is definitely different on take out and tastes more like the stuff that has been sitting out for lunch specials for a few hours. Flat, no rise, cardboard flavor. Blah... Service was great and very helpful. Easy to order online. Seems odd that the quality from one order to the next cannot be maintained. Came here for football, week 1, advertised they were going to open @ 9:30, didn't open until 10. Asked if they could put a specific game on and they did (it was only me and a family of 4). Pizza was high quality, tasted great! Beer was great as well, had two pints of their Octoberfest brew. Before halftime a little league baseball team waltzed in and the ambiance was more lively. I would like to give them more stars BUT they always close early and turn away anyone walking in within 30 mins to closing time. The food and drinks are good. It's walk up and order service so sometimes you have to wave people down because no one is up at the front to serve you. The pizza is amazing, salads are great... But the Italian grinder hoagie is where it's at. It's amazing. Notable mentions are Stromboli, and calzone. Usually eat here at least once a week... I can say that it was a little bit pricey, but I didn't care because the pizza tasted so good we ordered a medium and a small pizza to go and it was over $50. I was happy to get the same type of quality I got before, but my surprise was that the taste was so different. The pizza was really bad. The crust tasted like a premade pizza that you get from a box from the frozen section of your favorite grocery store. I'm not kidding, my kids my wife, and myself noticed the same thing. Absolutely appalled. Will never return. I'm not someone who leaves negative reviews lightly, but our experience at OC Pizza was so upsetting I feel compelled to warn others. We came in hoping for a fun, casual dinner as a family. What we got instead was one of the most humiliating experiences we've ever had in a restaurant. Our child is disabled and, while they were quietly enjoying their meal, I noticed two members of the staff--including our server--pointing and laughing in our direction. At first I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it became painfully obvious they were mocking my child. They tried to do it "discreetly," but anyone with a conscience would've seen it. Whispering, giggling, and sideways glances. Disgusting behavior from adults--let alone people in customer service. When I calmly asked to speak to a manager, I was brushed off and told they were "too busy." No apology. No accountability. Just more eye-rolls and avoidance. To say the staff were rude is an understatement. They were cruel, and I'm still shaken by the way they treated us like we didn't belong there. There are plenty of pizza places in the area that treat all their customers with basic human decency. OC Pizza is not one of them. Avoid at all costs--especially if you expect kindness, respect, or even just common courtesy. Coming in for lunch today, this establishment is clean and welcoming. I've noticed they've added some pool tables, they now have 4 pool tables total, and 1 more to be installed soon. The outdated video games have got to go. Now for the food: I ordered the medium meat lovers pizza loaded with jalapeños, and it didn't disappoint. The crust wasn't soggy, it was perfect. Also, the cookies and brownies at the register, get the cookies rather than the brownies... you'll thank me later on that. I enjoyed the ambiance of the place...big screen TVs, the music was a little loud, but I love 80's music. And the customer service is superb. Their salads need to improve. This establishment is located in Mission Viejo California in Orange County. In town for the weekend and decided to go for pizza with my kiddos. We had looked at the reviews and were eager to try this place out because of google reviews. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Debbie who was very friendly and welcomed us in. You can order your food upfront or you can open up a tab which I thought was great for those who may want to keep adding drinks. This place appeared to have just finished having a dinner rush as some of the tables were still being cleaned upon entering, which is understandable and they do have a sign outside, saying that they need help and are hiring for bartenders, cashiers, and cooks. We were seated without any issues fast. I was able to meet the new owner, Malik and he was very friendly, and I think he will do very well here as he's got a people personality. This place has very good chill vibes. They have a small arcade located in the right back corner and two pool tables. They also have various big flat screens all around the establishment for those who are into various sports. We do not eat pork so I can't tell you about any of the specialty pizza with the meats however they have a three cheese pizza which sounded yummy but I was a little afraid my children being too picky because it had ricotta cheese, mozzarella, another cheese as well as garlic on it. I ordered a plain cheese pizza which was ok (kids thought it could have used a little more sauce) but I also ordered a veggie calzone which had artichokes spinach, mozzarella ricotta in a buttery crust, and Parmesan sprinkles on top and a side of marinara. After tasting the calzone, I wish I would have ordered the three cheese pizza as the calzone was amazing. I love it so much!!! I have heard of ricotta on my lasagna, but never on my pizza and it was truly something to remember. They have other specialty pizzas as well chicken Alfredo to name one and meat lovers, and a whole plethora of others. They also had starters like fried zucchini, breadsticks, pinwheels, french fries etc. the price is on the moderate scale but considering the establishment to be a hangout spot one could easily be entertained for hours there.
