We ordered from DoorDash. We were hosting a party and needed a couple of pizzas, and luckily for us, Lamppost Pizza is just down the street. The pizzas arrived pristine, thanks to our DoorDash driver. It also arrived HOT. We ordered two large pizzas -- one with cheese, the other with pepperoni. Very simple. I really liked the dough. It was nice and fluffy. There could have been a touch more sauce, but in general, sauce tasted pretty good. Homemade. Toppings and cheese were excellent, and the crust was top notch. It's split into two sides -- one that's more casual and family-friendly, and the other that's a full-on sports bar with a patio, lots of TVs, and plenty of seating. The crowd was energetic and clearly excited about the new location. They have a decent variety of beers and other beverages, but the cocktails are all canned and made with a wine-based liqueur instead of real spirits, which was a little disappointing. Hopefully, they'll get a liquor license soon because that would really take things up a notch. The beer selection itself was okay, but I'd love to see them expand it with more local or craft options. Service-wise, it was fine, but we did ask three different people for waters and never got them, which was kind of frustrating. For food, we ordered french fries, an Italian sub, and a chicken garlic pizza to go. The fries were honestly the best part -- hot, crispy, and flavorful. The sandwich was decent with plenty of protein, but it lacked seasoning and sauce. The pizza, unfortunately, missed the mark. The garlic sauce had no flavor, the chicken tasted pre-cooked and came in thick slices, and the veggies were cut into huge chunks that overpowered everything. I actually ended up taking it home and doctoring it a bit to make it taste better. I was expecting shredded or fresh chicken chunks - I'm not sure where they source theirs. Overall, the vibe here is great -- fun, lively, and definitely a good hangout spot, especially when there's a game on. This place is such a gem. The pizza is amazing and I especially loved the Linebacker. It's loaded with toppings and the crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Since it's a brewery too, the beer is on another level. So fresh, cold, and it pairs perfectly with the food. We ordered through GrubHub and our driver did not deliver the potato skins and jalapeno poppers. We ate here because this location offered free pizza to AYSO soccer players at the end of the season, which is a great way to show love to our community. Discounting beer during HH but not wine, appears discriminatory - not a good look for a new business. It has the feel of a locally owned place and not a corporate store front. The staff was friendly and took the time to explain how they used a bit of olive oil because I asked for crispier crust. Beer was cold which was definitely a plus. Ordered the 20 piece wings and asked the server if they are crispy because that's how we like them. She stated that they could make it that way. The wings came out under cooked with the skins soggy. No choice of sauce - I'm sure they serve Franks red hot. We brought home 18 of the 20 wings and they were not that great in the air fryer. We were so excited to see a Lamppost Pizza in the area. The service was not the greatest, ordered two sandwiches and mozzarella sticks to go. We came before their rush and watched a number of tables get their pizza and other food ahead of ours. We sat by the register waiting for our food and come to find out it was sitting behind the counter for over ten minutes. We went home with cold food and not so much of a conversation with their manager. The staff was super apologetic, but they need to work on their communication among each other. One small tip if I can; add horseradish to the menu for the French dip. read more

Manager sat other people before us and said it's first come first serve even though we'd been waiting for over 15 minutes for a table to open. Love that Lampost is back where it once was, but it's even better! For the person who commented they were mad about not having a sign in on one of the biggest World Series games ever, you must be young or never been to a Lamppost pizza before. Lamppost has never had a sign in and 15-20 minutes isn't really that long to wait either. Maybe plan ahead as College football Saturdays & World Series games are going to draw large crowds. Anyway the few times we have been here (and waited no more than a few minutes to find a seat) The food is great as well as the service. Can't wait for when they start brewing their own beer too.
