I've been to Pho Top before, but this visit felt different since it was after the pandemic. When we walked in, they closed off our area and made it more secluded, which was a bit odd. They were also mopping and cleaning as we arrived. We ordered a lot of food, and overall, it was good. The portions were generous, and the service was solid. The pho soup base didn't taste like what I'm normally used to as it was probably because they don't use MSG, so it had a cleaner flavor. One thing I found unusual was that they cooked the bean sprouts in the soup and served it that way, instead of giving them raw on the side.

4.5 This is one of my "go-to" Pho places. Although I've tried almost all of the other places before I started really Yelping, this is one place I seem to return to the most. Why? The people are always friendly, the place is very clean, the taste is consistently good, the price is reasonable, and it's not too far away. Wifey and I have tried many of the dishes here. This time, we ordered the Crispy Squid, Vermicelli with Shredded Pork, and Pho with Grilled Pork Chop. The Crispy Squid has really good breading and seasoning. The Vermicelli and the sauce are good, and the Pho broth is tasty. I think the thing I like the most is the seasoning/marinade they use for the Pork Chop; it's always juicy and flavorful. Other dishes we tried and would recommend include Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Vietnamese Deep Fried Shrimp Rolls, Shrimp Summer Rolls, Vietnamese Bread (Banh Mi) with Pork or Chicken, Popcorn Chicken, Thai Style Chicken Fingers, Combination Pho, and Pho with Fresh Beef Slices and Brisket. Great job, Pho Top! I'm a fan and really enjoy your food.

The prices went up since we went last here. The food was tasty. We had the combination pho -17 and vermicelli with shredded pork and spring roll. - 30. Service was polite and attentive. Made recommendations, the decor was nothing special. It's all about the food! Worth another visit!

We've had an excellent experience every time my family and I have visited this lovely Vietnamese restaurant. Since my in-laws live nearby, we often stop in for dinner, and it has become a go-to spot for us. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is no-frills yet welcoming, and the service is always kind and attentive. Try their wings - made fresh and far superior to what you will get at any fast food chain! A true neighborhood gem.

I have frequented quite a few Vietnamese spots (still have a few more on my list) but I'm pretty confident this is the best pho spot I've tried in the Flushing, Queens area. We randomly stumbled upon here when Gino's pizza next door was closed due to a holiday and were pleasantly surprised! Everything we had was delicious from the banh mi (the bread was super fresh and soft) to the popcorn chicken and of course, the pho. We were starving and this definitely hit the spot, even had enough for leftovers. The ambiance is similar to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, very clean and spacious. Service is no frills but no complaints. I highly recommend if you are craving solid authentic Vietnamese food in Queens!

Located in a strip mall on the outskirts of Flushing is Pho Top. It seems like there is a new Pho place opening every other month. Ambience: very spacious and modern dining room. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded. Food: we ordered Beef Pho - hot savory broth served with slices of raw beef cooked in the broth. 4/5 Grilled Pork Chop over Rice - could have been marinated a bit longer. 3/5 TL/DR - an average Vietnamese entry in a crowded field.

Was craving pho and found this place on yelp. We were really happy we tried this place out. Came on a Saturday afternoon and was seated right away. Lots of ample space and staff was very attentive. Prices were also decent for the amount of food served. We were stuffed. Will def be coming back again.

The restaurant is spacious, visually appealing and clean. The parking is not a problem since the lot is huge. Although it can be quite chaotic due to the layout and the bad drivers here. These the reasons we come back because it's easy to dine here with the kids. In terms of the food, I'd say that nothing really stands out. The pho is average and so are the spring rolls. The best thing on the menu is the fried squid (10/10 - highly recommend). The restaurant is under staffed as well. It always take a while to get any of their attention. They have some bubble tea in their restaurant called Whale tea too. Following the theme of the restaurant, nothing we tried were amazing or anything but it's convenient for that after meal boba fix.

Ordered takeout on the way back to the office from Pho Top. I've been looking for a new Viet spot and this was close to home and on the way. I ordered Cubed Beef with Lemongrass over rice. The food itself was very good. It was tasty and well seasoned, the beef was super tender. My gripe was the portion size. The dish was loaded with onions and tomatoes and very little beef. The beef itself was also cut into very small pieces. For the price, I felt like it wasn't worth it. The restaurant was clean and a lot of people were eating there for 2pm on a Tuesday. The ambiance was chill and the servers were friendly enough. Wish the portions were better!

If you're looking for a no-frills type of meal this is the place! They have a variety of Vietnamese dishes and a diverse range of appetizers. The food in this establishment comes in huge portions, is delicious, and at a more than reasonable price point. I have ordered both takeout and dined in and all of my experiences here were pleasant. The staff are meticulous with takeout orders to make sure that you have the correct order before leaving, which I appreciate. When dining in, the tables are spread apart and the staff checked in with us without being intrusive. This place is located in a plaza so there's plenty of free parking spaces. If you're hungry, don't know what to eat, and in the area, look no further. This is your spot!

Keepin it real out here in Flushing Grabbed a Bánh mì to go before my appointment and overall was pretty good. Made fresh. Chinese owned spot like most places now, but the ingredients seems to be all pretty authentic or at least what most of us use to, probably won't go out of my way to visit, but will visit if in the area again.

Clean , convenient, more space without too many crowded, great service . Free parking too ! Food is fresh and decent.

Lots of space to wait inside

I been meaning to try this spot out. The service for takeout was professional and spacious for you to wait for your order. The food looked great! I'm usually pretty skeptical in bringing pho home cause you got to eat that HOT and FRESH! Was surprise that the broth was still hot! I was so excited I ended up plating everything at home to make it feel like I was heading to a restaurant! So here's my take on their food; Pho - Portions are great! They didn't skimp on anything the noodles were cooked perfectly well once the broth was combined. The flavor of the pho was a tad much on the cinnamon side. It didn't have that essence you usually get. Banh Mi - I can't really compare to any other banh mi's cause I've only had it in America and Canada. But out of the 34034549098 versions. I thought it was a bit odd that it had lettuce in it? I mean it was "okay". Wished they had the pate spread and the braised pork meats. Felt like it was more fusion mix? Spring Rolls - Not for nothing. I wouldn't say it doesn't have anything in it.. But it didn't have what you would expect which most people fill with loaded pork. Overall it wasn't a horrid kind of place nor was the food bad. It was sub par good just not the type of "Viet" I was expecting. They should really also put a menu on their windows to attract more customers! That's just a tip! So they don't have to stand there and read the whole thing if it gets crowded inside! Just saying.

I can't believe I never wrote a review for Pho Che after dining here multiple times over the years…read more I have been a huge fan of their pho broth and their grilled pork chops. They are both always seasoned very well and make a delicious meal. However, the price seems to have increased tremendously for the side of pork chop (almost doubled since they first opened). We opted to try their spicy pho and BBQ pork banh mi on a Saturday. The entire restaurant was packed with plenty of diners waiting for a table. Our food came out quickly and we were able to share our pho with an extra bowl. The spicy broth was indeed spicy and pretty flavorful. There was plenty of meat and aromatics to accompany the dish. I really enjoyed the dish but towards the end, it was just a bit too spicy. The large bowl also had plenty of noodles for two people. The bbq pork banh mi was not as great as other shops that specialize in freshly made banh mi. The pork was seasoned well but the sandwich felt a bit bare and lacking. Overall, I do love supporting Pho Che as my local pho spot and hope they continue to serve amazing food.

Mekong at the end of the strip closed a while ago, so a new Vietnamese place fits right in. They spent a good amount for the interior décor in light wood tones and it looks nice. With all the new and popular businesses in this HMart strip mall, the parking situation in this lot is cutthroat with everybody jockeying to get a space at all hours, but even worse at meal times. For new Vietnamese restaurants, I always have to compare their biggest beef pho bowl, the Locomotive 火車頭. Why it's called that, I'm not sure, but most places call it that. The broth comes hot and flavorful with plenty of Brisket, Tripe, Tendon & Eye Round slices and though not the biggest or best, but pretty decent. Garnish with plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeño slices while the broth is hot. The thin rice noodles are just the right consistency, too. I like to mix a dipping sauce for the beef with the hot sauce & hoisin sauce on the table. My son goes for the Grilled Pork w/ Vermicelli Blankets because not all Vietnamese restaurants have it on their menus. He likes to wrap the grilled sliced marinated pork in the vermicelli blankets and dip them in the fish sauce. It also comes on a bed of greens. My wife had ordered the Grilled Beef on Rice Vermicelli, which is sliced, but what she really wanted was the Marinated Cubed Beef and that comes over rice. To round out the meal, we also had a plate of Stir-fried Baby Bok Choy and it was really tasty with plenty of sliced garlic. So next time we'll have to try again, but we'll order a la carte family style. I want to try the Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chops, Salt & Pepper Squid, Stir-fried Water Spinach and maybe throw in some Shrimp Summer Rolls and Fried Spring Rolls. Apparently, this Pho Grand also has a separate buffet takeout counter that you can select 4 dishes over rice & a soup for a flat rate, which is great for a grab & go lunch.

This place feels like a hidden gem you almost want to keep secret... but it's just too good not to share. What makes Pho Metro stand out right away is how authentic it feels. You can tell this is truly a labor of love. One guy runs the show and somehow manages to do it all, from cooking to serving, and the care he puts into the food absolutely shows in every single bite. It has that comforting, homemade quality that makes you feel like you've stepped into a small family kitchen rather than just another restaurant. The food itself is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, from the herbs to the broth. I highly recommend the thin noodles with the spicy lemongrass broth (you can request this if it's not listed). It's bursting with flavor, slightly tangy, perfectly spicy, and deeply savory in a way that warms you from the inside out. Every spoonful feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. The summer rolls are another must-order. They're fresh, light, and packed with flavor, and the peanut sauce that comes with them is absolutely delicious. It's rich, savory, and addictive enough that you'll find yourself scraping the cup to get every last drop. Another detail I really appreciated is how everything you need is right at your fingertips. All the sauces are readily available at the table, so you can customize your bowl exactly how you like it without having to ask or wait. It makes the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and welcoming. And don't skip the Thai iced tea. It's perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing, especially alongside the bold flavors of the pho. It's the kind of drink that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. Overall, this place delivers on flavor, authenticity, and heart. It's rare to find a spot where you can truly taste the effort and pride in every dish, but Pho Metro does exactly that. I will absolutely be returning again and again. The summer rolls and calamari were good, you could taste the freshness of the veggies and shrimp. I wish the calamari had been a bit crispier and seasoned with a touch more salt and pepper, but it was still very good. The real reason I'll be coming back is the pho broth. Some people might describe it as slightly sweet, but to me, it had a rich, balanced flavor. The gaibi was dry and hard to eat on the bone even though they provided gloves and a knife. The pork chop as a side was $15 for 2 pieces and also on the dryer side. It was seasoned well but I really wished it was juicier. My favorite part of the meal was the smoky beef bun cha platter. The beef was thinly sliced and tasted sweet like bulgogi. The noodles were served with a cold dipping sauce, which contains fish sauce. I enjoyed the noodles but wished they were easier to separate. Lastly, the spicy intestine pho was my least favorite. Also its surprising because every time I go the place is pretty packed and occasionally there is a wait. What's also a shame, for me, is that on my recent visit my friend ordered the Steamed Seafood in Lemongrass and this is perhaps the top, or one of the top dishes on the menu. The seafood flavors and balances the slightly spicy lemongrass broth making this a crave worthy bowl. I ordered something out of my wheelhouse - the Coconut Spicy Lemongrass Soup, which on online order menu states its a popular dish. I couldn't see why this dish is so popular because I find other items on the menu superior. They make a tasty pho (especially when paired with a marrow bone). Their sandwiches are well made - I enjoy the different fish ones. I think their Vietnamese coffee could use some work - it is blander than other versions I had tried. Don't be too sad and maybe feel a little optimistic because owner Petra Rickman has a great track record opening interesting, in demand restaurants (This one and Taco Azul have been longtime go-tos in Whitestone). Additionally G&L has a 2nd location with the same menu in Manhattan, which unfortunately for a Queens boy like myself is a bridge too far and a congestion pricing too high for me to make the trek.
