We came back here and their menu expanded. Their specialty phos are highly recommended! There's seasonal menu for the summer as well. Love their broth! Will be back during the warm weather.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was also super clean, which I always appreciate. The ambiance was nice, relaxing, and overall a great vibe.I started off looking at the appetizers and decided to try the beef mushrooms, and wow... they were so flavorful and seasoned perfectly. But the real star of the night was the Galbi (braised beef rib). When I tell you it was falling off the bone, I mean it. It was so tender, soft, and packed with flavor easily a 10/10 dish. For the main course, we ordered both the Signature Pho and the Chicken Pho, and both were AMAZING. The broth was rich and comforting, and everything tasted fresh. Also, don't skip the add-ons! For only $2.50, we got the lemon spicy chili sauce on the side, and it added the perfect kick so flavorful! For drinks, our sweet server recommended the Iced Thai Tea, and he did NOT disappoint. It was the perfect balance of creamy and sweet. If you like something fruity and refreshing though, you HAVE to try the Lyche Ade that drink was seriously sooo good. They also give free green tea, which is such a nice touch. You really can't go wrong here. They accept Apple Pay, and parking wasn't bad at all. It's outside parking, but there's plenty of parking around the area.Overall, everything from the food to the service was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back 10/10!

Bo and Ga [4/5] We were feeling a little under the weather, so we wanted to get some pho and decided on takeout from Bo and Ga. We ordered 2 Signature Phos (lunch price $13.99 each) which included brisket, rare steak slices, and tripe. They have a lot of add on options where you can build your own pho. Everything was packaged well with no spillage. Overall, we were satisfied and would order again for their lunch deals.

Where's the pork chop I ordered?

Craving pho so tried this place out. Delivered spicy lemongrass signature pho and one piece of pork chop. Noodles arrived overcooked. You can tell when you try to grab some noodles with your chopstick and it literally falls apart. Broth was spicy but lacked any depth. Pork chop... don't know what to say. Paid for a whole pork chop and it arrived in tiny pieces (picture attached), which turned out to be extremely dry. Will not be ordering again.

Was in the mood for pho since the weather was wet and cold to help warm the body and soul. Had 3 selections of pho provided by Korean ownership. The flavor was not as distinct as what is served at typical Vietnamese restaurants. Although decent taste but was a bit underwhelming. The ratio of meat to noodles is a bit lacking. Looking for some jalapeños but there were none. The spring roll appetizer had a nice peanut sauce for dipping. Service was friendly and prompt.

My husband and I tried this mom and pop spot out on a whim a few months ago and now it is our new fave pho spot! The owners seem like husband and wife and they are both extremely friendly to all the customers. They advertise how they don't use MSG and strictly only use meat and bones for their broth which is well reflected in their food. Other pho places clearly use a lot of miwon or MSG making me feel bloated and so thirsty afterwards but this is never the case after I eat here. I'm pregnant now too so this is such a plus!

Vietnamese restaurant featuring broth and topping options for pho. Their delivery packing is excellent and nothing spills during transit. I would recommend this place for the various broth options and the toppings you can't get at other Viet places. The broth: You can pick from different broths which is nice. The signature Beef broth is not spicy, it has mild flavors of savory beef, herbs, seasoning. Rating 7/10 The spicy broth would be considered medium or medium-high spice level. It's red from the peppers and it has a sharp burn and strong flavor. Rating 7/10 The toppings: It's cool that they offer spicy Intestine as an option for the pho. It's a good combination of pieces with balanced intestine and spice flavors. Rating 8/10 Signature Beef Decent amount of beef, thin slices, and it's an OK mix of pieces. It didn't have tendons like similar places. Rating 7/10 The noodles: Thin straight rice noodles. They are not the long chewy type. They are easy to break apart and they absorb the soup broth well. Rating 7/10

Ordered via Ubereats: Everything was well packaged and nothing spilled. Chicken Pho- broth should be more lighter and cleaner. This actually had no taste. Signature Pho- Missing that beefy taste. Meat was tough to eat. Tripe was marinated. Portions were decent however, it lacked flavor. Even siraccha and hoisin sauce couldnt make it taste good.

I decided to come check out this pho spot for lunch one day due to the lunch specials they offer. I believe it is a few bucks cheaper for a bowl of pho with the lunch special so I ordered a beef pho with shrimp summer rolls. They also give you pickled onions as a side, which was a nice touch! Even though they have a simple menu (which I really appreciate), everything was done well and very fresh with decent portion sizes. The interior is spacious with plenty of tables and clean from what I could tell. I was the only one dining in at a weird hour in between lunch and dinner but the lady was very nice and attentive, left me to enjoy my food until I was ready to settle up. There's a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the area but I'd say it's worth checking out if you are in the area and looking for a cleaner or lighter pho option!

Bo and Ga are literal translations of Beef and Chicken in Vietnamese, but the restaurant is Korean owned. This isn't the first Korean pho place in Flushing and probably won't be the last. It is very quiet here on a Tuesday night and B&G is a block north of all the restaurant bustle of Northern Blvd in this residential neighborhood that is packed with houses, but there is free parking if you look around. The previous menu is focused on beef and chicken pho, but when we came, it was revamped with new menu items and I wanted to try them out. The front of the house is run by one lady doing everything. She was gracious in bringing us tea. We start with Shrimp Summer Rolls (2 for $10.99), which had some plump shrimp and served with smooth blended peanut sauce. Other places have lumpy sauce, which I kind of prefer. Also different from the previous menu version is the Pork Spring Rolls, which are thinly wrapped, similar to Chinese Spring Rolls. They are crunchy, meaty and tasty though seemingly small (4 for $8.99). The fish sauce for dipping was pretty flavorless and there was no lettuce wrap either. But we came for the Pho. The Signature Pho Bo is the classic combination of sliced brisket, rare eye round and tripe with thin rice noodles all in a savory beef broth. The beef broth has good flavor, but I feel the chicken broth is on another level. It comes in the Pho Ga as well as the Seafood Pho. My son said the seafood was lacking flavor though and it was all about the chicken broth. I had one of the new menu items, which was the Smokey Beef Belly Pho and that added a new dimension of flavor with the smoked sliced beef. Definitely will make this another stop on the Flushing pho train! See ya next time!

I thought it was a great place to get some pho outside of flushing - we found street parking easily A little bit different from traditional pho but still good. Broth was super flavorful and the brisket was so tender. Service was a bit slow -given we were the only ones in the restaurant so was a bit confused by that but I would go back!

In this area of Queens, it's a nice change to see a Vietnamese Pho restaurant open in this sea of Korean restaurants. Bo and Ga recently opened and has a very limited and focused menu. The only offerings are Pho (there's 5 to choose from) and Vietnamese rolls (Summer and Spring). We went for an early dinner on Saturday and the place was empty, but it looked like they were doing gang busters with take-out and delivery orders. We ordered the Pho Bo Signature ($16.99), Shrimp Summer Rolls ($10.99) and Vegetable Spring Rolls ($8.99) The Pho Bo Signature Bowl had Brisket, Rare Steak and Tripe served with noodles in beef broth. The beef broth was light and not as beefy as I was expecting but still tasty. It was really great after I sprayed it with lemon and added Hoisin sauce and Sriracha. The noodles were soft and silky, great for slurping and had a nice chew. One thing I must note was that I wished there was more meat in the bowl. The rare steak was cut really thin (you could practically see through it) and it was so good. The Shrimp Summer Rolls comes 2 per order and had a side of peanut sauce. I really enjoyed these. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the veggies (fresh and pickled) were great. Strangely it came with a small plate of pickled onions which I've never seen before. I'm not sure if these were for eating with the rolls or the bowl of pho. The Vegetable Spring Rolls comes 4 per order and had a side of fish sauce. Also, good but different from the usual Vietnamese spring rolls that I'm used to. They were bigger in size and did not come with lettuce for wrapping in. Frankly, it tasted more like Chinese Spring Rolls which I also happen to like. I enjoyed the meal. Came out of it very full and I thought the prices weren't too bad. The staff were so attentive. We had two people come by and check on us periodically. I wish them the best and hope people support them.

I can't believe I never wrote a review for Pho Che after dining here multiple times over the years…read more I have been a huge fan of their pho broth and their grilled pork chops. They are both always seasoned very well and make a delicious meal. However, the price seems to have increased tremendously for the side of pork chop (almost doubled since they first opened). We opted to try their spicy pho and BBQ pork banh mi on a Saturday. The entire restaurant was packed with plenty of diners waiting for a table. Our food came out quickly and we were able to share our pho with an extra bowl. The spicy broth was indeed spicy and pretty flavorful. There was plenty of meat and aromatics to accompany the dish. I really enjoyed the dish but towards the end, it was just a bit too spicy. The large bowl also had plenty of noodles for two people. The bbq pork banh mi was not as great as other shops that specialize in freshly made banh mi. The pork was seasoned well but the sandwich felt a bit bare and lacking. Overall, I do love supporting Pho Che as my local pho spot and hope they continue to serve amazing food.

Mekong at the end of the strip closed a while ago, so a new Vietnamese place fits right in. They spent a good amount for the interior décor in light wood tones and it looks nice. With all the new and popular businesses in this HMart strip mall, the parking situation in this lot is cutthroat with everybody jockeying to get a space at all hours, but even worse at meal times. For new Vietnamese restaurants, I always have to compare their biggest beef pho bowl, the Locomotive 火車頭. Why it's called that, I'm not sure, but most places call it that. The broth comes hot and flavorful with plenty of Brisket, Tripe, Tendon & Eye Round slices and though not the biggest or best, but pretty decent. Garnish with plenty of bean sprouts, basil and jalapeño slices while the broth is hot. The thin rice noodles are just the right consistency, too. I like to mix a dipping sauce for the beef with the hot sauce & hoisin sauce on the table. My son goes for the Grilled Pork w/ Vermicelli Blankets because not all Vietnamese restaurants have it on their menus. He likes to wrap the grilled sliced marinated pork in the vermicelli blankets and dip them in the fish sauce. It also comes on a bed of greens. My wife had ordered the Grilled Beef on Rice Vermicelli, which is sliced, but what she really wanted was the Marinated Cubed Beef and that comes over rice. To round out the meal, we also had a plate of Stir-fried Baby Bok Choy and it was really tasty with plenty of sliced garlic. So next time we'll have to try again, but we'll order a la carte family style. I want to try the Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chops, Salt & Pepper Squid, Stir-fried Water Spinach and maybe throw in some Shrimp Summer Rolls and Fried Spring Rolls. Apparently, this Pho Grand also has a separate buffet takeout counter that you can select 4 dishes over rice & a soup for a flat rate, which is great for a grab & go lunch.

It has that comforting, homemade quality that makes you feel like you've stepped into a small family kitchen rather than just another restaurant. The food itself is outstanding. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, from the herbs to the broth. I highly recommend the thin noodles with the spicy lemongrass broth (you can request this if it's not listed). It's bursting with flavor, slightly tangy, perfectly spicy, and deeply savory in a way that warms you from the inside out. Every spoonful feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. What's also a shame, for me, is that on my recent visit my friend ordered the Steamed Seafood in Lemongrass and this is perhaps the top, or one of the top dishes on the menu. The seafood flavors and balances the slightly spicy lemongrass broth making this a crave worthy bowl. I ordered something out of my wheelhouse - the Coconut Spicy Lemongrass Soup, which on online order menu states its a popular dish. I couldn't see why this dish is so popular because I find other items on the menu superior. They make a tasty pho (especially when paired with a marrow bone). Their sandwiches are well made - I enjoy the different fish ones. I think their Vietnamese coffee could use some work - it is blander than other versions I had tried. Don't be too sad and maybe feel a little optimistic because owner Petra Rickman has a great track record opening interesting, in demand restaurants (This one and Taco Azul have been longtime go-tos in Whitestone). Additionally G&L has a 2nd location with the same menu in Manhattan, which unfortunately for a Queens boy like myself is a bridge too far and a congestion pricing too high for me to make the trek.
