Casa Tua feels like stepping into a chic private Italian home tucked into the mountains…read more The restaurant itself is gorgeous -- candlelit, romantic, and incredibly cozy with multiple intimate dining rooms. It's one of those places where the atmosphere alone sets the tone for a special night. The food is refined but comforting. The truffle pasta is phenomenal and the branzino was perfectly prepared -- light, fresh, and full of flavor. Service was polished and professional without feeling stiff. The staff made great wine suggestions and the pacing of the meal was perfect. Casa Tua manages to feel both exclusive and welcoming at the same time, which is rare. One of the most memorable dinners we had in Aspen.

We were able to sample the wine before getting a bottle which I appreciate. The wine we had was delicious. Now food was a little bit of a miss. We got a charcuterie board which was good. The cheese and salami selection was good and it came with crackers, marcona amonds, fig spread and olives. I mean honestly nothing fancy or unique about it. But it pairs well with wine. We also got the focaccia bread which I felt was kind of greasy. I didn't even dip it in the oil cause it had enough oil in its own. We also got the margherita flatbread, but that didn't feel like a flatbread at all. The bread was thick and made it feel more like a pizza. The taste was good so I won't knock it completely, but I wouldn't be calling that a flatbread. Service was great, just a shame the food doesn't live up to expectations. I'd probably stick to the wine and charcuterie which were the best things I had.

We tried their charcuterie board which had a lot of cheeses, meats and fig spread and almonds. Super good when paring with wine. We also had their focaccia which was nice and soft with the olive oil and balsamic and finished with the flatbread. Not the traditional style flat bread I'm used to but it was more like a personal pizza to me. But the flavor and cheese pull was on point. Just wished it was more flat like what I'm used to. But I'm not complaining. It was delicious. The service was amazing and friendly and the vibe felt like a family ran place.

And quality and atmosphere to match high-end large city expectations such as this place. The Riviera has a cozy, soft-lit, warmer setting which I love. Awesome nooked tables in the bar area. The menu has some high quality offerings with some twists. You can get steak everywhere- BUT BEEF WELLINGTON?? This was a truly spectacular dish. Amazing flavor, perfect flaky crust, and unbelievably tender, melt-in-your-mouth steak. They were gracious to do a split plate with lovely presentation (wish I had just ordered my own!) Backing it up, the burrata app was a great starter. We lucked in on a Wednesday where they have 1/2 priced wine, and our bartender gave us a great suggestion as well as top service the whole meal. Wish I lived closer to frequent this place!

We also ordered the beef wellington. They were very good but not fantastic. It's a complicated dish and making it for so many across hours of service can create rubbery pate, and undercooked pastry. Mine was very good but pastry was a bit undercooked. Hubby had rubbery pate. The veggies that come along with the wellington were outstanding. The struggle was the service. There was one waiter for the entire place. This created forgotten orders (never got our caeser salad, had to remind him we ordered Brussel sprouts, and never got our coffee with our dessert). They need an additional server front of house and probably an extra busser to help with food delivery, drinks, etc. I would go back. And give it another chance as everyone working there was really nice and working hard. The space is also relaxing and welcoming.
