Food, vibes, service, music I give 10 stars! From the moment we walked in, to the complimentary amuse-bouche to the cocktails to the presentation of the dishes to the taste, we loved our experience at Betula. Also, extra points for the DJ/music that really elevated the experience. The bubbling bonito was a refreshing spritz drink that was perfect for the evening. I had the poached striped bass which was served in dashi broth with soba noodles - I've been craving Japanese food and this was a beautiful fusion dish that satisfied that craving! Make sure to leave room for dessert - the banana flambee is a showstopper and the souffle is also delicious!

Had dinner here our first night in Aspen. This is a beautiful restaurant. I love the decor, lighting, and setup. They have an in door area, bar area, lounge area with a DJ, and an outdoor dining area. This is the perfect place for a special occasion. Some of the best food and service in all of Aspen, Colorado! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the staff is extremely friendly and attentive to every need! You need to call ahead a few nights in order to get a reservation at a table, but I recommend going in and trying to grab it a few seats at the bar. They have everything you're looking for and more and certainly a five star experience all around. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Food at Betula is all about show and not about flavor. Prices are ridiculous but ambiance is nice. If you want good flavorful food this is not the place! If you want to show off and have a nice ambiance then this is for you. Desserts look pretty but don't taste good. Service was great. This was my second time here and I think it will be my last due to the lack of flavor and high price point.

Gotta try this place. Good food, service & view of the mountains. We almost cancelled our reservations based on the negative reviews the last 3 months Cancellation fee is $100 per person if less than than 48 hour . Arrived at 6:4( and out table for 4 was waiting. We requested snd we're seated at a table with a view of the Aspen mountains. It's not cheep but the drinks were good and food was great and plenty full.

Always fabulous food and drinks! You have a seating choice of various places from outside to inside or fireplace room.

Every time we visit Asian we come here for an amazing vibe with great food and excellent service. You can't go wrong with this top notch place. I highly recommend the food and drinks.

Don't understand what the hype is about this place. The salad was full of Mayonnaise. The first two items in tried to order were out of stock and when I complained, and asked for manager, he never showed up. These days it's hard to run any restaurant and I'm sure they have their challenges. I wish them the best in their business.

We got the same things both times, the Thai noodle salad and the tomato soup - both to die for !! So good. The second time we went we also got a cappuccino, which we regret not getting the first time. The staff is welcoming and super nice, the service was extremely fast and each time we were very well taken care of. As anticipated, the place was gorgeous...with a slightly formal air. Given that it was in the Vail Village (near the ski slope), my husband was able to enter the place in his rugged ski suit. Despite the ambiance, it was a bit dead. I was disappointed with the lack of French music overhead...though maybe it was on so low, I didn't hear it? There were plenty of breakfast-brunch options, but on the menu, some items were noted as taking 20 minutes (which we didn't have time for!), so I was a tad bummed about that. In any case, my husband chose this Huckleberry Bacon French Toast, and I ordered the Maryland Crab Benedict. For drinks, we both just ordered plain coffee. As expected, the foods were good. I was more impressed with my husband's choice, this super-fancy french toast. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted spectacular! Mine was good, but disappointing at the same time. I really liked the Crab Benedict, but I only half-liked the side salad (basically just Arugula with a few Walnuts and Figs). The total bill for these items ran over 100 bucks... which, was to be expected in Vail. However, for such a pricey breakfast, I felt that I should have absolutely loved it...but it felt short of that. Overall, I just expected a bit more from this breakfast experience. Again, the decor was gorgeous, but the ambiance wasn't fully there (because of the lack of music?). Service felt a bit short-skimpy as well. Foods were good, but mine especially (Crab Benedict) felt a bit lacking. Let's just say that I've had Crab Benedicts as just as good for half the price...and with better sides. Maybe lunch or dinner experience is better here? In any case, am glad we checked out the place...but I doubt I'll choose it for breakfast again.

From the artwork on the walls to various touches throughout, you have the feeling you are in Paris. The food, although good, was just that - good. The Steak Frites was, I'm sorry, not all that special. The Fries were very good but the steak was lack luster with the Béarnaise Sauce missing key flavors like shallots and especially tarragon. The Aubergine Roulade, roasted eggplant rolled with roasted red peppers, spinach, chèvre and herbs served over baby arugula, mimolette cheese, toasted pine nuts, pickled fresno pepper & aged balsamic reduction (!) was good. With all those ingredients it should have been spectacular. Nice evening but disappointing.

I called them at 8:30 and they said kitchen is open till 9pm which was fair. We got there at 8:50pm and the hostess looked over to someone who looked like the shift manager and she said "sorry the kitchen is closed". I did not feel like arguing so we just decided to have some pizzas and drinks. That was a big mistake. I ordered what looked like a calzone (pizza that is wrapped) and it was the saltiest dish I've tried. Again we were trying to be mindful and too nice but I think we just went too far for being too nice. I then ordered the other pizza and it was honestly quite mediocre. The waiter was really nice and that's why I'm giving it 1 star otherwise it would be zero for us. They weren't even willing to provide salad. Come on! You can't even make salad in your kitchen? That was just ridiculous. And believe it or not, we had amazing food in every other restaurant we tried in Aspen so this was certainly a one off. My suggestion to the management team is to be honest about your the last call from your kitchen. If you close at 10pm and your kitchen runs till 9pm, you ought to be able to take orders till 9pm. Otherwise, be upfront and shot down kitchen at 8:30pm. Quite disappointed and not even sure if I would ever want to give this place a try.
