The truffle pasta is phenomenal and the branzino was perfectly prepared -- light, fresh, and full of flavor. Service was polished and professional without feeling stiff. The food here was absolutely amazing. We had the best meal. We got here right in time between being packed for lunch and packed for dinner. The service was great considering how many people we had seen here consistently since we got to our house a week ago. I love the way this place is decorated. The cool books on the wall and the cozy yet slight European vibe. Loved it. Bravo to the chef bc my Lamb chops were amazing. Let's be honest we went because of tik tok hype. Called same day and able to get reservation. Unfortunately when arriving they said they did not have reservations. Yet we showed them we called at certain and even same number as restaurant. Did not even apologize. Lucky or I thought was bar seats open so we ate there. Didn't even take our coats had them draped over the bar stool which was uncomfortable. Already had sour taste from beginning. Should have taken it as a sign. The bolognese was just not good. I didn't think it was anything special even pasta was sub par and not tasteful in my opinion. The prosciutto appetizer was delicious especially the Mozzarella complimented it well. The star of course and what everyone raved was pistachio gelato. It was so creamy and was worth ordering and trying even just a few bites. Overall I will say I wasn't impressed as tik tok and others said. The staff especially bartender we had didn't have much knowledge of the menu items. Came by Casa Tua for a weekday lunch. Reservations are very easy to come by for weekday lunch although incredibly difficult for weekends and dinner. We made one directly on the restaurants website. Interior is lively and busy, and feels cozy despite being a large space. We sat on the patio which was pleasant. The large umbrellas offered ample coverage when it started to pour rain. The service was decent. The entire restaurant was teeming with staff everywhere. Our waiter was very nice but some of the host staff and others were a bit standoffish. The interior decor is homey but elevated. The food was solid. Pricing is extremely expensive but at least you get heaping portions for the price. The apps were nothing special and the fried calamari was pretty bland. The pastas were the star of the show for us. Each one could easily feed 2-3 people. The cacio pepe was a cheese bomb and a lot sharper than what you usually get. The bolognese was hearty and filling. After all said and done, it was definitely worth the hype for me. read more

White Truffle risotto was very good and a treat when in season! You must end this meal with the homemade pistachio gelato -it was amazing!!! It's a lot, we shared and had 4 of us. This gelato should win some kind of award!!!! I could not stop thinking about this gelato after I left. Service was also good! They were very accommodating, we requested to be moved because we couldn't even hear ourselves talk due to a very loud table next to us. The table said some nasty things to us when we moved. I'm not sure why because we didn't say a thing to them we just wanted to be moved so we could enjoy our meal and have a conversation that we could hear while eating. The servers were very nice. Casa tua was amazing! The restaurant is pretty large inside but still felt very intimate for a birthday dinner. The log cabin and lights is charming right in the heart of Aspen walking distance from all hotels and the slopes. Not pictured was the home made bolognese because we ate it so fast!! It was our favorite item we tried! Definitely get this! The beef carpaccio was flavorful and nice. The steak was cooked perfectly for my taste and the foie gras ontop was delicious and made the entre stand out from other beef tenderloins! A nice twist we loved. This place is such a gem! We went in at 9pm the other night after rolling into town super late. It's off season, and many places are closed or close super early, but these guys actually held the restaurant open for us! Had a large group dinner one evening and it did not disappoint at all. Loved it! Here are my takeaways: Environment Beautiful and intimate space. Since I was with a large group we were able to dine upstairs where I learned is usually reserved for members and large events. It was beautiful with low lights and a great ambiance. Great for a date night. I loved the art on the walls. Service The food was served buffet styled so I really didn't get much face time with servers. When we did eventually sit the server was friendly and accommodating and made sure we got what we needed. The bartender was really great and welcoming and knew what he was doing. Very social, warm and polite - would definitely go back to just get a drink from him - always great to have good energy bartenders. Food and Drinks The food was wonderful. Everything was delicious and tasty. I wont name everything here but go look at my pictures and just know that everything I've posted was great. Everything was absolutely delicious, I'm surprised it was so quiet when we went at 8:30 on a Saturday. The portions are quite decent so if you're getting starters, I recommend possibly sharing some of the entrees. They had white and black truffle fondue specials and we went with the black-- the fondue itself was pretty underwhelming. The carpaccio and prosciutto were good starters for the table to share. The milanesa is huge and one of the best I've had, absolutely recommend it! The calico e peppe was really good, the lobster linguine wasn't anything special. All in all, great spot. Service was good, all the ladies who served us were so sweet. The place is definitely nice and has a lovely bar that looks like a great place to have some drinks and catch a game when you want a more quiet and elevated evening but don't want to miss the big game. should have looked at reviews before booking. Came here to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. We were 10 min late; I called ahead of time to tell them and they said 'no problem'. When we arrived, there was no warm greeting, the hostess area doesn't even look inviting-- it looks like where servers ring up the meal. We were immediately told that we were only able to stay for an hour and 15min because they had a reservation at 7. Keep in mind we were there with our 2 year old and any person with half a brain knows that a family with a two year old is staying for less than an hour so it didn't need to be said (especially when we arrived). The restaurant was at 30% capacity so this was laughable. It took them 15 minutes to bring a high chair and ruined my husband's birthday. We left after 15min because the service was slow and the wait staff was slower. I really question the people that are hired here. They don't seem that bright. Stay away from this restaurant. Not worth the money. High end restaurants should smother you with good service. This was the most disappointing staff that I have ever come across. Hire a real maitre d!! read more

We stopped here for lunch just before our flight out of Aspen and it was everything I was hoping for. The restaurant was lived up to its name, well designed and made you feel at home once inside. The service was impeccable and super attentive. We were in a rush and the food came out in perfect timing. I started with a minestrone soup and it was so tasty. For my main I opted for miky's salad and side salmon because I didn't want to feel too full with a full travel day ahead. It was the perfect way to end my stay in Aspen. Last night we dined at Casa Tua. The food was good, but what stood out was the professionalism of the staff. It's a bit crowded and I counted four servers, a bartender, a sommelier and manager working my part of the floor. A bit of soup accidentally spilled on a ladies coat and the servers were quick to help her. Unfortunately, what was obviously an innocent accident due to the crowded area became a spectacle as the expressed sympathy for the lady's coat fed her predatory instinct and she was berating all the staff that were trying earnestly to assist her. I couldn't hear all she said but she ranted about a $2k sweater and x thousand dollar coat. Her behavior turned from reasonable to unreasonable faster than I would expect. The management was excellent and the staff were amazing. I wanted to comment while I was there, but opted not to. I'm surprised to see so many poor reviews for Casa Tua! Perhaps the lunch and dinner service differ? I had a wonderful experience at Casa Tua for dinner. Miky's salad was the perfect yet complex arugula salad. The bread was great, especially the breadsticks. My bolognese was phenomenal -- rich yet not too filling. While I left some restaurants in Aspen feeling overly stuffed, the food at casa tua was satisfying yet not too rich. The homemade sorbet with a glass of amaro was a great way to end the meal! I will note that our waitress did miss a couple of items we ordered (extra app and extra dessert). English didn't seem to be her first language. Never leave bad reviews, but I felt very inclined to & wanted to warn others -- Honestly this restaurant isn't even worth the headache you will encounter with the several calls from the managers and staff. We made a reservation here for my whole family a month in advance for NYE to not be even notified of a cancellation that one of their employees who no longer works there did. The only reason I found out it was cancelled was a day before I tried to modify the reservation to less people and it said your reservation has been cancelled. After 2 in person confirmations from the nice general manager, to receiving a call and notification on the day of NYE from another manager that your reservation is cancelled and not confirmed. Also, for them to tell you that they have a $280 price fixed menu day of. Extremely unhappy and dissatisfied with this experience. Have dined here in the past and would recommend eating elsewhere. read more
