The design is what is twisting my arm to write about... but there's a lot more. The burrata with honey truffle sauce was devine. I loved the Brussels. Not really the artichokes sadly but that's ok. From rachel, my cousin: The tuna Crudo was delicious as was the lamb and ceaser salad. Veal - excellent. Which was really a schnitzel. The design is impeccable. Kudos to the Aspen architect for the details. The tile, the bar, the black and white Italian photography permanent exhibition. The glassware and flatware. Zanco denkart wine glasses are just from another world. The photos online don't do it justice. Acopa flatware. Just divine. Tiramisu - everyone loved it more than I did. Mango sorbet was lovely. Mina- our server was fantastic. The host also was gracious and welcoming. The bathroom is great. The scent is not overbearing. Hand lotion is perfect since it's so freaking dry in aspen. Only issue - even though it was a Sunday night, and the restaurant was not super full, the music was still too cubby and loud then one would expect from a super fancy place. The price of our dinner was on average 100 bucks per person with an average of one and a half drinks per person. Similar to last night in Matsuhisa famous Japanese. Which is a lot. Perfect ambiance otherwise.

Welp, for the prices, you'd think this would one of most amazing meals you've ever tasted with top notch service but it fell short. We tasted a good amount of the menu and while some things were tastier than others, nothing wowed me. What we ordered: Fritto Misto (1/5) the shrimp were dry and chewy Crab Tostadas (4/5) generous amount of crab, the sauce under the tostada crisps was flavorful Tuna tacos (5/5) this was my favorite item of the night, very small portion but tasty Half chicken (2/5) moist but very under seasoned and basic overall Crème brûlée (1/5) the worst one I've ever had, we did not finish it The overall service was basic, nothing over the top. I don't forsee myself running back to dine here again soon.

We got a reservation for Duemani at 8:30 on a Tuesday night. The service was top notch. We were the only group dining in at this time. They mostly played upbeat edm music. The food was excellent. We shared several dishes. The tacos, which were on special, were excellent and good value relative to the rest of the menu. The tuna tartare was a standout dish that everyone enjoyed.

Did someone say foodie adventure gone askew? Picture this: anticipation high for the famed veal chop and those crispy, truffle-perfumed fries, only to be met with a chilly welcome. Despite the less-than-warm service and a waiting game that felt longer than a Netflix binge, the culinary creations did not falter. Each dish, from the succulent veal to the perfectly balanced truffle fries, danced on the palate, scoring a 9/10 on the taste test. Yet, the service left us longing for more, much like a forgotten second martini. We had so much hope and our friends that brought us here were very disappointed. Even the manager didn't seem to notice any of the issues with our table. Only giving a 3 stars due to service.

Let's factor out the small fortune Aspen mandates you pay and focus on the atmosphere, service, and of course, taste. Walking into the pleasantly warm restaurant, I was happy to see the original but sophisticated ambiance. I especially loved the large window facing the pedestrian avenue. The tables were large, and the seats were comfortable. Plates, silverware, and glassware were sparkling clean. The service, unfortunately, could have been a little better. I am only knit-picking, but with the hefty price tag, I expect it to be on par with my experience. Some of the waitpeople seemed untrained in basic serviceable mannerisms. Other than that, everybody was pleasantly friendly and attentive. Now to the good part...the FOOD! We started our meal with a couple of appetizers, the lobster and the oysters. Both tasted exquisite, and I thoroughly enjoyed the "special hot sauce" paired with our meal. The wine selection was limited, but the personnel knew the best pairings for our meals. As for main dishes, my favorite was the lamb chops, and I would not reorder the blue prawns. Overall, an Aspen classic, and I will be happy to come back!

Whole Branzino. Delicious, flakey and perfectly crispy

Delicious new spot in town. We ordered the burrata, tuna and yellowtail crudos to start. The tuna was delicious but the yellowtail just tasted like it was drowning in teriyaki sauce. We ordered the New York strip steak and the whole Branzino. Both were wonderfully delicious. My only critique would be that their menu is almost randomly expansive. There are so many different types of options and no real direction around how to order from such an array of items. I thought this place was Italian but they had edamame?!

We had an great meal at Duemani. With all the amazing choices in Aspen it's hard to pick. We wanted light and fresh seafood. This place delivered on both. We started with the grilled octopus, tuna sashimi, and crab tostadas. All were perfectly prepared and great portions. For dinner we shared the grilled prawns and the Brussel sprouts. We were suppose to get 6 prawns and only 5 were on the plate. The brussles were fair at best. Good spot. Service was quick.

Loooooved the Chilean Sea Bass, the flavors were amazing. The salmon, the ceviche were also excellent! Everyone was very attentive and so nice. We will definitely visit again. A new favorite!

We are early around six and I was worried because the place was pretty dead but it started filling up and was full by 7. We stuck to appetizers to share instead of ordering mains so that we could try a few different things. The oysters were good but they came dressed and without cocktail sauce. I didn't love that. Then we moved on to the lamb kefta. It was fabulous. We ended up ordering another later on. We tried the mussels and clams next. The broth was good but they tasted a little funky. Not my favorite. Then we had the crab tostadas and another kefta. They were very good. After that we were full. Overall good food but a few things were a miss for us. I would try it again. The service was wonderful.

The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.

So glad we did. On our last night in town, we had reservations at a restaurant down the street and came here for a pre-meal beverage. Upon entering the Hyatt, a see-through fireplace to the left serves as your initial glimpse into the tasting room. Coming from the traditional mountain chic of the hotel, the Marble Bar's decor is strikingly different, with its HGTV clean lines / grey / white modern aesthetic. Yet it still manages to be wonderfully cozy with multiple small group sitting areas, complete with fur throws and the aforementioned wood burning fireplaces, as well as bar seating if that's more your thing. There is also an outdoor fire pit that looked tempting, but it was snowing pretty heavily, and we said another time. The place was quiet with only 2 other patrons when we first arrived, but after about 30 mins it was quite lively. The mixologist (not to sound pretentious, but 'bartender' just doesn't do her justice) was amazing. I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, but if I say Boston then it should be obvious who I'm referring to. We dined on a Monday evening as a party of eight, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table seated. Despite that, the pacing of the meal was extremely slow. We were there for close to two hours, largely due to how long it took for the food to come out. When the dishes finally arrived, they were brought one at a time instead of together, so by the time everyone had been served, several plates were no longer warm. With such a light dining room, there really wasn't an obvious reason for the delay. It felt less like the kitchen was overwhelmed and more like the focus had shifted away from the guests, which is disappointing in a town where the standard for hospitality is so high. Aspen has no shortage of outstanding restaurants, so consistency in service matters. With stronger management and better attention to timing, this place could be very good -- but as it stands, the experience did not live up to the level the food suggests it should.
