Came here for pre-dinner cocktails and the place was decorated very tastefully with dark, moody lighting and lounge-esque seating. We were staying at the Hotel Jerome so it made sense that we pop in here one of the days. Our server was nice and the cocktails were good but it just felt underwhelming overall. It required a $70/person minimum to reserve despite it saying $50 on the website for a la carte. I wonder if The Soiree experience or even the omakase experience are the way to go. The cocktail concoctions were great and of course they offer the trendy basics if you don't want to be adventurous and just want to stick to an espresso martini or dirty martini. For those non-alcoholic drinkers, they also have a few zero proof craft cocktail options including a martini. The pisco sour is great if you're looking for something on the sweeter side, and the ivy was delicious and perfectly balanced (an adult green juice). If you have time to spare and want to relax in this historic little spot, it's a cool spot to check out but it's absolutely something you can pass on for other plans.

Love this place. We had drinks here after our first dinner in Aspen. The drinks were so well made and delicious. Presentation was wonderful. The atmosphere is great. We made reservations online about a month before our trip. Our server was great! We didn't get to try any of the snacks. It is pricey, but I think it comes with the service and atmosphere. I thought it was pretty busy for a Sunday night. Pros - Service - Tasty drinks - Beautiful - Atmosphere

My husband and I made a reservation for The Soirée experience, and it did not disappoint! We received 6 beautifully crafted cocktails and 5 light bites over 2.5 hours. Every drink was delicious and they made sure to ask at the beginning if there were any flavors/alcohol we didn't like so they could avoid them. The space itself is beautiful and gives a cozy speakeasy vibe. It was dimly lit, music was great but not overpowering, and the decor was on point. All staff we interacted with were very kind and knowledgeable of the drinks, snacks, and area. We will definitely come back to Bad Harriet the next time we are in Aspen!

Really good atmosphere, great cocktails, large bourbon selection (not on the menu, sit at the bar), small food menu (but I can attest to one sweet dessert, great flavors and killer presentation!). Only down side, and it may have been the day as it seemed to be a small group, it was a bit loud for a speakeasy.

It came as no surprise that Ralph Lauren's design team, who designed the interior for the Hotel Jerome, was responsible for this as well.

The crispy chicken sandwich is honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, juicy, and balanced with just the right amount of heat. The service was wonderful, we got our food very quickly, and the ambiance was adorable. A little loud but nothing too crazy. The food itself was fine. We ordered the duo dip, French fries, the French dip, and the chicken sandwich. The guac and the other dip were really good and we loved the chips too. The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. Overall, it was a nice experience for a decent price and I'm glad we went. Would we go back? Probably.

I had the 5 course tasting ($195; note there is a 3% service charge - about $220 before tip). Will note that I wasn't quite "full" full after the 5 course menu, but I was more than "neutral," so it was enough food. I also had a mocktail; they had a floral sounding gin-based cocktail ($25) but I didn't want to drink alcohol (worried about having a headache) and they made me a mocktail version ($18) and it tasted girly and fun (just like I like my drinks!). There is downtown Aspen parking available around, it's all per hour and seasonal rates, plus residential parking which is a bit cheaper. I don't think there's any fully free parking anywhere in the area unfortunately. Will also just mention -- the bathroom was immaculate. Smelled lovely, and I dug the dark/black vibe. So glad we did. On our last night in town, we had reservations at a restaurant down the street and came here for a pre-meal beverage. Upon entering the Hyatt, a see-through fireplace to the left serves as your initial glimpse into the tasting room. Coming from the traditional mountain chic of the hotel, the Marble Bar's decor is strikingly different, with its HGTV clean lines / grey / white modern aesthetic. Yet it still manages to be wonderfully cozy with multiple small group sitting areas, complete with fur throws and the aforementioned wood burning fireplaces, as well as bar seating if that's more your thing. There is also an outdoor fire pit that looked tempting, but it was snowing pretty heavily, and we said another time. The place was quiet with only 2 other patrons when we first arrived, but after about 30 mins it was quite lively. The mixologist (not to sound pretentious, but 'bartender' just doesn't do her justice) was amazing. I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, but if I say Boston then it should be obvious who I'm referring to. She was a great conversationalist, excellent cocktail fabricator, and really helped get our evening off to a perfect start. We would have stayed longer if it weren't for those reservations. As for the most important piece, the beverages! We had 4 different whiskey based cocktails amongst the group, and all were absolutely fantastic - there was a lot of sharing. I had The Paragon and enjoyed it so much went home with a small bottle of the Moonlight EXpresso (not a typo) Reserve to try to recreate the magic. I was told it was one of the first liqueurs created by the owner, and the website has a recipe for cheesecake, which I certainly will be trying. We dined on a Monday evening as a party of eight, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table seated. Despite that, the pacing of the meal was extremely slow. We were there for close to two hours, largely due to how long it took for the food to come out. When the dishes finally arrived, they were brought one at a time instead of together, so by the time everyone had been served, several plates were no longer warm. With such a light dining room, there really wasn't an obvious reason for the delay. It felt less like the kitchen was overwhelmed and more like the focus had shifted away from the guests, which is disappointing in a town where the standard for hospitality is so high. Aspen has no shortage of outstanding restaurants, so consistency in service matters. With stronger management and better attention to timing, this place could be very good -- but as it stands, the experience did not live up to the level the food suggests it should.
