The food was absolutely on par with what a Michelin starred restaurant should be. Just got back from 2 mo in Paris going to eat at the most amazing restaurants and this restaurant is equally amazing and delicious. The wine pairing was perfect and the service impeccable! The restaurant is right in town and convenient to all. Inside it is modern and cozy. The rustic charm reverberates throughout the establishment. Highly recommend. Very expensive but it's Aspen.

We dined here a month before they earned the Michelin star. The food is eclectic and reminded us of the movie The Menu. Different tables were getting different levels of service. The chef came and spoke to some. We loved everything except the burnt onion. Still trying to figure out if that was a bad joke that we didn't understand. Beautiful ambience and all of the cocktails were phenomenal. Dropped over a grand in dinner and drinks but sometimes you just do. YOLO.

3 desserts. Top is chocolate, left is salted pot of crème? bottom was an apple dessert which was creative

Fine dining restaurant with two different tasting menus. We opted for 5 courses which we thought would be enough food. The good news is that you get to pick out the 5 courses. The lobster was definitely the best appetizer and the salted Caramel pot was the best dessert. The chocolate dessert was good with a nice presentation but was to small. I opted for the scallop entree that has 2 scallops. They were delicious but really only 2 scallops? Three would be much more acceptable.

This was our second time dining here. Everything about this place is 10/10. The ambiance, the service (thank you to our waiter Tyler!), and most importantly the sheer artistry of the food. I wished I'd taken more pictures of the dishes but I was too busy marveling over it. My husband and I did the 9 course tasting menu with wine pairings. We added on caviar which I highly recommend! The entire dining experience took maybe 2.5/3hrs. Truly an extraordinary evening.

This is an excellent restaurant. Everything was on point. Reservations are a must since this is one of Apen's premier restaurants. Upon arrival I was promptly greeted and was shown to my table outside. The service was excellent from being extremely attentive and fast and proper on changing the cutlery between courses. The wait staff was super knowledgeable on the dishes and described them perfectly and could answer any questions. The food wand amazing beautiful presented and was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I had the five course tasting menus and I portions were good and I felt satisfied at the end of the meal. I highly recommend trying their craft cocktails. They are truly unique and special. The wine list was excellent cans they had multiple choices for whine by the glass as well.

The 5 course tasting menu is great! I love that we got choose the 5 items - only guidelines are one appetizer, 2 small plates, 1 entree and 1 dessert. Tried the duck liver, bison tartar, scallop, duck and sesame ice cream. Really delicious food for a special occasion

Everything was perfect!! We were so lucky to get last minute reservations during the Aspen Food and Wine Fest this year, and they accommodated us amazingly. The weather was nice and their patio had an insane view at sunset. The food was to die for, I wish I could go back now! And the service, well. My husband had too many drinks nearby and with the altitude, he did not feel well enough to enjoy everything properly. We asked them what we could do and they boxed everything up for just him considering, and they were so kind and understanding about it!! Can't wait for the chance to go back!

My first trip to Aspen for my wife and I and I wanted to go someplace special for dinner. I had read about the Chef and the restaurant, and knew this was the place we wanted to try. It exceeded everyone one of our expectations. Every course of the meal was excellent, and the wine pairing that accompanied each course put the meal over the top. The service was amazing and at the end of the meal they asked if we would like to go back to the kitchen to meet the kitchen staff. HIGHLY recommend. I know the meal changes often based on seasonality, so looking forward to going back on our next trip. Thank you for an AMAZING experience. What a restaurant should be!

    * The one and only Michelin star restaurant in Aspen, well deserved * A foodie's paradise for high end fine dining and wine * Food Artistry focused on locavore foraging, farming and fermentation * 9+ course Chef Menu $255++ pp or 5 courses for $185++ pp * Amazing staff * Reservations with guarantee on Tock * A wine list and custom wine matched flights that are first rate After several visits over four years along with visits to every fine dining venue in Aspen we conclude that Bosq has no rivals. Such was the judgement of Michelin as well. The food here takes you on a culinary journey showcasing Chef Dodge's love of foraging, as he is an expert on the native plants, flowers and fungi of the region. He started gathering mushrooms in the Elk Mountains back in 1997 after igniting a passion for cooking as a teenager in Aspen. Bosq is named after the Spanish name for Woodlands. His love for the culinary arts lead him to work with Ferran Adria and Jose Andres at El Bulli, arguable one of the finest and most unique restaurants in the world before its closure. Not content to rest on his laurels, Chef Dodge travels with some of his staff during the off season to dine in and learn from some of the finest restaurants in the world. The hotel dining venues in town and many others cannot compete with the food quality of a family-owned business with only around 30 seats focused solely on their guest's satisfaction. You feel like part of the family after your first visit. Vegetarians and Vegans can feel like they are first class citizens as well, as Bosq will provide great options. The small kitchen, Sous Chefs and staff punch way above their weight, dry aging duck, grilling lobster over juniper branches and avoiding the sous vide mania of many other Michelin eateries. The menu is unique, you will not find any of the dishes in Aspen or elsewhere. The wine list has a broad and deep selection of Old-World wines as well as some notable New World selections. The Somm staff are knowledgeable, engaging and passionate. I can't say enough about the staff that connects with every customer with a smile, enthusiasm for their work and a commitment to please and make you yearn to return. Kudos to the best fine dining restaurant in Aspen.

We decided last-minute to have a Michelin experience in Aspen. It's a slow week for Aspen so we got a reservation the day of. Is the food good? Yes. Is the food and experience worth it or up to Michelin par? Debatable. While we had commendable service and felt that some of the dishes were good, some of the dishes were uninspiring and I had no idea why I was tasting what I was tasting. Our server only checked-in on our thoughts for two of the nine courses and it did not feel interactive at all. There's only a few tables in the restaurant anyways, so the experience should feel interactive. We had to move tables because the restaurant was freezing, despite having used the blankets that were provided to us upon sitting. A majority of time for the first few courses was spent trying to figure out where the draft (wind) was coming from. We were celebrating a special occasion and were given a candle in one of the dessert courses and a card. A nice touch but nothing special from the chef or anything. Overall I'm thankful to have had a nice dinner with great company, but I'm not certain I'd be able to recommend the restaurant to friends or family. The bill came with 3% kitchen appreciation, and the suggested tip was calculated including this 3%. Total around $1200 for three people including a few cocktails.

Wow!!! This has to be the most Colorful Colorado Restaurant experience ever. Everything was artfully, with colorful flowers, herbs and other edibles that made each course a feast for eyes and my palate. We chose the 4 course meal, which turned out to be 7, with the Amuse Buche, a bread course and an after dinner chocolate truffle. The highlight of the meal wis the juniper smoked Lobster, tender, smoky, savory and mouthwatering. The optional wine pairing was well thought out world wine tour and a perfect addition to a memorable meal. Service was exceptional with an army of servers, and runners taking care of every detail. The place is well appointed and easy to have a conversation with my dinner partner. Obviously, everyone in Colorado knows that this restaurant just received a well-deserved Michelin Star. If in Aspen, take the plunge and enjoy a truly great meal.

I think this is without a doubt the best restaurant in Aspen. Each guest can create their own 5 course tasting menu from an incredible selection. Fresh fruits and vegetables are the star of the show and they complement some amazing proteins. Don't miss the venison bark, wagyu, duck, or butterscotch dessert. Every dish I had was nothing short of spectacular. Very good and reasonable wine list. Their expert staff will help you make decisions. Bosq is clearly an expert chef's vision and they execute it perfectly.

We came in for Valentine's Day unsure of what we were going to get. Reviews seem polarizing, but I will note most of the bad ones are from years ago. We've had such excellent Michelin starred dining experiences in Colorado, especially Beckon, that we had high expectations. Bosq blew all four of our minds. My husband did the fine and rare wine pairing, I did the somms pairing. We added on wagyu and caviar supplements. Starting with the wine, the Somm was one of the best we ever had. Super knowledgeable and hands down our best wine pairing ever. Only one dish was slightly off for us (the kumquat threw off his wine choice), but the rest of the dish was perfect with it and we were beyond impressed overall. Each dish was amazing, the flavors worked and you can tell the staff and chef put so much time in their off season tasting and melding flavors to create these dishes. Creative, delicious, and a great time. Service was lovely, someone was always nearby. We had special caviar bumps for Valentine's Day. We'll be back!!!

The fries are pretty much what you'd expect, except once they got to room temperature they became super hard and not very edible. My husband said the French dip meat was good and tender, pretty good flavor overall. I had the chicken sandwich which was huge! They split the sandwich into three wedges and I could only finish two. I liked the texture of the chicken was nice and I liked the slaw on it, however, the flavor overall was kind of lacking. I would say it was a bit overhyped. So glad we did. On our last night in town, we had reservations at a restaurant down the street and came here for a pre-meal beverage. Upon entering the Hyatt, a see-through fireplace to the left serves as your initial glimpse into the tasting room. Coming from the traditional mountain chic of the hotel, the Marble Bar's decor is strikingly different, with its HGTV clean lines / grey / white modern aesthetic. Yet it still manages to be wonderfully cozy with multiple small group sitting areas, complete with fur throws and the aforementioned wood burning fireplaces, as well as bar seating if that's more your thing. There is also an outdoor fire pit that looked tempting, but it was snowing pretty heavily, and we said another time. The place was quiet with only 2 other patrons when we first arrived, but after about 30 mins it was quite lively. The mixologist (not to sound pretentious, but 'bartender' just doesn't do her justice) was amazing. I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, but if I say Boston then it should be obvious who I'm referring to. She was a great conversationalist, excellent cocktail fabricator, and really helped get our evening off to a perfect start. We would have stayed longer if it weren't for those reservations. We dined on a Monday evening as a party of eight, and the restaurant was nearly empty, with only one other table seated. Despite that, the pacing of the meal was extremely slow. We were there for close to two hours, largely due to how long it took for the food to come out. When the dishes finally arrived, they were brought one at a time instead of together, so by the time everyone had been served, several plates were no longer warm. With such a light dining room, there really wasn't an obvious reason for the delay. It felt less like the kitchen was overwhelmed and more like the focus had shifted away from the guests, which is disappointing in a town where the standard for hospitality is so high. Aspen has no shortage of outstanding restaurants, so consistency in service matters. With stronger management and better attention to timing, this place could be very good -- but as it stands, the experience did not live up to the level the food suggests it should.
