Too Good to Go Box. Plenty of variety of donuts and great quality too. Friendly, fast service, and overall great clean Cambodian place for donuts. Highly recommended! (A box is $7 thru the app)

It's an interesting place with good food. I got the ham egg bacon and cheese croissant and it was dam good. The place itself is a mess around you. All of the fridges had many different items and some were tossed around a bit. The donut counter was nice and had a good selection. It's definitely a place that truly serves the community around it, and i definitely support places like this.

Another place I found through the app - too good to go. My yelp girl Michelle L told me about the app. It has a lot of bakeries, some restaurants and a lot of donut places. They all have mystery bags / boxes of stuff they didn't sell and would otherwise be thrown away This place isn't too far from me and I've been wanting to try it As soon as I walked in the staff was really friendly. The lady behind the counter was great. I showed her I purchased the surprise boxes from the app and she started boxing up The donuts. She even gave me some donut holes to try while waiting I ended up getting these because I always bring them into the car dealership in the morning when I get an oil change for the workers. There was all kinds of donuts in the box. But mostly regular glazed, some maple ones and chocolate glazed. They also have a lot of other stuff to purchase like bobas. I also bought a couple cookies and she gave me one for free Whether you are trying a locally owned donut place or trying the app, give this place a try (The boxes on the app were 5.99)

Maple bars, sprinkle donuts, old fashioned chocolate donut.

These are solid donuts. Went early in the morning for the first time and was impressed. Its a hole in a wall donut shop. Got half a dozen and a large coffee for $11 reasonable. Good service. Would return.

Was looking up whatever would be open at 5am in lbc before taking my sister to the airport. Penguin donuts popped up so we headed over. Long Beach low key still lil hood, not like scary hood but the kind of crackhead hood. We were greeted by one once we drove up. Came inside and greeted quickly by an auntie. She was very sweet, even tho the man came inside and trynna get us to buy him things just lingering and touching shit. The auntie was pretty calm. Since this is normal for the businesses out there sadly. Ordered two Banh mi - Egg and a pork. They both were filled with topping and the pickled veggies were super fresh. These items took a little wait. So I recommend to call ahead. My sister gotten glazed twist donut she said was really good. Viet coffee wasn't that great but the hot coffee black was pretty good. The counter had mason jars of Mum papaya so I grabbed a few and snacked on those rest of the day. The flexible hours along with good service is be back. Just know if you do choose Togo before dawn it'll be kinda wild, harmless but wild.

Kind lady always at the front. I always enjoy supporting local small businesses like this. Please be patient with the lady at front she makes everything fresh with fresh ingredients. Sandwich was 10/10 and she also threw in some free donut holes.

Good donuts, even better customer services. Shout out to Mr.LEE for bringing sweeter than all the donuts are!

Great donuts, price point, and customer service. Thank you Mr.Lee. Was not expecting to find such a great donut place randomly but glad I did!

    Chicken Banh Mi

They were closed late night when my gf and I came check it out. yelp says they're open until 2 but I'm not sure if that's is every once and while. I came back the next day and I'm glad I did. The lady was really sweet and welcome to criticism on the spot if the food wasn't good. Bought a chicken Banh mi and beef Banh mi along with donuts. The sandwich was just right. And the prices are hard to beat for a Banh Mi. Would recommend. Donuts were pretty good too. Parking is a bit clunky so I would suggest coming in and parking in the main area because the back is hard to get back out from the alleyway.

Maple Bars and Thai Tea with boba
    Elijah S.

Came by in the evening to satisfy my cravings for some maple bars. It's a good small business with some tasty looking donuts behind the display window. There's some space for seating if you'd like to sit and eat. The donuts did not disappoint and the Thai tea was nice and refreshing to drink for the trip back home after, although I would probably go without the boba next time but that's just my preference. The woman working was very kind and attentive so I'm definitely coming back.

Each one is packed with flavor, making you wish you had ordered a dozen instead of just one or two. Given their size, I'd recommend two donuts per person. With plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, it's also a great spot to work remotely or catch up on emails. Also make sure to check out their cute merch items when you're waiting on your order!

What made them different is they used taro flour and cooked them in coconut oil. Some of their flavors were tropical. Now I can write about how the oil smell emanating from the store made me nauseous whenever I passed by during business hours. It's weird because I didn't think bad of the donuts themselves and could stand to eat them. I will say after having them on two prior occasions, they made an impression on me when they participated in the yearly Belmont Shore chocolate festival. They offered a freshly chocolate glazed donut. It was so delicious having it fresh as opposed to letting it sit and have later. Thanks for the memories! I won't forget you, Holey Grail!

Once we finally found it again, we were so happy, and we've been regulars ever since. These are honestly some of the best donuts I've ever had. They are light and airy without feeling empty, but still have enough substance to be satisfying. The sweetness is perfectly balanced, and they always taste fresh. A lot of donuts can be too dense, overly sweet, stale, or so airy that there is barely anything to them, but these are the perfect balance. The women who work here are always incredibly sweet and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasant. I'm glad to see this is more of least a normal donut shop with real normal donuts. I'm tired of these new fancy donut shops specializing in "creative" donuts with all kind of crazy toppings like every sweet cereal you grew up with priced like at $5.00 a donut or something. I go in and can tell this is one of those Asian donut shops that opened all over down here in SoCal. I think they might be Cambodian, nothing against Asians making donuts, they're the ones that started using the pink boxes we all know. Asians make the best fried chicken, so why not donuts? I look at all the donuts in the cases and they seem like all the familiar ones. I order a dozen and just point to the ones I want. The even have bear claws. I got one of those just for me. There's croissant stuff too. Service is friendly and efficient. The interior is a little dated but I'm here for donuts, not a fancy date or something. I get the donuts and eat that bear claw on my way back to the hotel to meet up with my crew. Yes, they were surprised to have nice donuts, so nothing like a happy crew to make them get the work done.

I got lucky- It was about a half hour before closing and there were no other customers. Cute little place! I was helped by Ilyas, the manager. What a stellar individual! I told him it was my first time, and my preferences (not big on frosting, but like interesting flavor combos) and he walked me through the different types. I was happily surprised to see that they carried some traditional donuts as well as the frosted themed ones! I found that this shop was related to Simones donuts which is a great business! They even do cookie tins and caramels. A couple of the special edition donuts looked so decadent and flavorful but more like a dessert that I commented. He then brought out for me one that was a brand new item and it sounded perfect- a sugar donut topped with strawberry mascarpone encircling a pandan center and I had to get it. He even let me have my themed matcha donut without the fancy little emblem for $1 less! So nice. Those, with a biscoff donut and a logo pin completed my purchase. The pandan topping was sweet but the mascarpone was reminiscent of a strawberry yogurt and the flavors blended perfectly. The other donuts were huge, fluffy and perfectly textured. I would have liked a stronger biscoff and matcha strawberry flavor in those crumbles but at least they were not sweet! Just delicious. The prices are fairly high but I will definitely stop by occasionally to see what delicious creations they are whipping up and get myself a treat!

The flavor WAS NOT cookies and cream. It was a regular doughnut with chocolate frosting and design on top. I thought there would be filing inside of cookies and cream or the frosting at least, but no. I think these doughnuts are just for the aesthetics. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars was because the apple fritter my husband got was good. I tried a few bites and it was very tasty. You get the taste of apple. And the crunch from the exterior with it being light and fluffy on the inside. I'm disappointed because I've been wanting to try this place out for the longest time and my doughnut did not exceed my expectations.

A very welcoming vibe upon entry, we were greeted by a friendly couple who answered our questions about popular drink flavors. We decided to go with a Hot Cinnamon Dulce Latte and an Iced Blueberry Lavender Latte. While waiting, there were plenty of chairs, tables, a comfy couch and even a bar area to sit and relax. Tons of board games, books and wonderfully mellow music helps make the experience feel comforting and inviting. Our drinks were prepared quickly and shouted at the coffee bar for pickup. The presentation was great, but the flavors, out of this world! The Cinnamon Dulce Latte was OUTSTANDING. So good, in fact, that my girlfriend stole it from me! Not to worry, her Blueberry Lavender Latte was also top-notch, with a smooth, not-to-sweet flavor combination. Located on Fourth Street, all parking is street parking, and for a Saturday afternoon, it sure was busy! I had to circle the surrounding neighborhoods a few times before finally lucking out and snagging the loading spot right by the bakery. There also was a line to get in. At first, I was confused because there were two lines, but turns out the longer line one was for the neighboring coffee shop, Reinne's Place. Since it was already 1:30pm, a lot of their pastries and breads were already sold out. I was hoping to get their ube pandesal but alas, no more! I ended up getting their Pandan Cinny Bun, Black Sesame Bun, and Ube Bun as well as their Ube Coffee Cake. The buns are gigantic! Not only were they huge, but they're also incredibly soft and delicious. I really loved how distinct the flavors were in each one . It's hard for me to pick which is my favorite out of the three because they were all so good! If I absolutely had to pick though, I really loved the Black Sesame one. The black sense and flavor on that one really came through and I loved pairing it with my coffee. The Ube Coffee Cake was also really enjoyable. It had a nice crumbly texture with a subtle sweetness. Overall, I really enjoyed all the sweet treats I tried here! I'd definitely go back to try more, although I will say the limited street parking can make the visit a little challenging, especially on a busy Saturday.
