First let me mention, upon entering the establishment is very clean and friendly. I came here to try to satisfy my wife's pregnancy craving. In her own word " the best bagel I have ever had" We ordered a cream cheese bagel and a turkey croissant and both breads were very fresh. The cream cheese was very flavorful and a generous amount spread on. We also ordered a half dozen donuts and every donut had a beautiful presentation and amazing taste. This shop is very clean and the staff are friendly. There's a parking lot in the back but there is also street parking. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant and had to write the review because you definitely get what you pay for! I was caught off guard when the price was over $8 but then I brought it home to enjoy and it was enough to share with my gf and both of us felt full. The sandwich was so good! I also ordered a dozen donut holes and a blended coffee (strong). The total ended up being around $17 which is not too bad for the quality and taste of everything. I came here after finding this place on Yelp and seeing it was extremely local to me. I thought, "I could use a donut shop by me that I can be loyal to". Pulling up to this location it was very weird off the bat. The parking was on the side behind the building and was extremely limited to two spots and a handicap. The atmosphere inside was nice and pretty clean, their menu was missing quite a few price stickers, though. When I made my order, a tuna croissant with jalapeños and cheese, the cashier behind the counter made a yuck face and asked "with.. cheese?" and I said "yes please" then she said "I've never heard that, I have to ask if he can do that". Which I found extremely rude because having worked in the food industry myself, I would never make a face at a customer's request. After she said they'll add the cheese, I started looking at the donuts for something sweet. I chose a heart shaped donut and a star with pink frosting. When I got to the register to pay, my total came out to $19.35, I was shocked because they listed their donuts at no more than $3 and the tuna croissant at $8.25. So in my mind, my total should be like $15, when I asked why the difference she said the cheese and jalapeños were extra, which $2.50 per extra seems steep, then she explained because this Yelp was from the old owner and they haven't updated the prices and the tuna croissant is actually $13.25, but the Yelp shows that it was active this month so that's odd lol. After waiting about 7 mins for my croissant sandwich, I decided to take it home to eat. When I got home, about a 3 minute drive, the sandwich was almost completely soggy on the bottom, and all the vegetables were shoved on the top, so it was mainly for presentation. The onion was extremely overbearing since it was literally chunk slices of purple onion. I ended up disassembling it and making a tuna salad basically. While doing this I realized they used raw jalapeños instead of pickled, which was fine because I understand every place is different, but the kicker was.. no cheese!!! omg they didn't add the cheese after the whole thing with the cashier making an eww expression at my order and the extra charge. I definitely will not be coming back here under their "new" management and let local my friends know to stay far away from here, unless you plan on paying double what you expect on top on receiving subpar customer service. read more

Great place for a sweet treat or a breakfast sandwich. Donuts/Sandwiches: I've been here a handful of times now and the flavor and quality of their product is consistent. I've tried their ham, cheese and egg croissant breakfast sandwich, they make it with white american cheese which I don't have very often and it brings the whole sandwich together. If they added avocado, it would be perfect! They have another version with bacon, so good. They make it pretty quick too. For a sandwich that is just about $1 or so more I'd go here instead of McDonalds. Their donuts are pretty good too! They offer a variety of items on their menu, you should definitely check them out for yourself. Drink: They have a standard iced coffee that I believe they premake themselves. The cream and flavor is already added in when they serve it (not sure if they offer it black). For $3 it's not bad. Better than Mcdonalds iced coffee IMO. Service: Great, always friendly. I've never really had to wait long. One time they threw in a few donut holes when I ordered a sandwich - so nice of them! (but don't expect it). The location is always clean. A small spot on a busy street and you bet they're doing something right. On a rare occassion I go to a donut shop, it's usually for someone else. This time was no different. I was picking up donuts for a birthday celebration. They had a great deal on a dozen donuts, so the birthday boy ended up with 12 donuts to share with his family. His report back was he loved them! When I asked what the most popular item they had was (based on what they still had available that day) I was informed, the cinnamon roll. I ended up trying one and I was pleasantly surprised. It had a donut consistency with a burst of cinnamon in the middle but was surprisingly not too sweet. Definitely worth trying if you are a donut connoisseur. read more

After months of eager anticipation, I was happy to find Ocean Donuts has opened (3 days ago). Super-friendly couple runs it and creates great donuts at reasonable prices. I had my go-to - a maple bar - and it was fresh, light and delicious. Next time I'm having one of their huge "butterflies". I've gotten a few dozens here before and each time I bite into the donuts, I freakin want more! The donuts are soft, light, and fluffy! They're fried perfectly, with the right amount of crisp and then fluff! It makes me feel like I'm eating cotton candied donuts!
