Friendly staff and great food!

A very good option for brunch in the Bothell area. it was very busy even on a working Friday. I was so shocked to see Portuguese Sausage on the menu I had to try it! It was really good even if it was served with token pineapple. They seem to have a local connection with a few Hawaii themed menu items. The service was friendly and about as attentive as a busy cafe wait staff should be. The only knock is the limited waiting area so if you are coming on a busy weekend wear a coat, since you might be killing time outside! read more

I've heard really good things about Patty's Eggnest, however the the customer service isn't as great as I thought it would be. The food was amazing, definitely better than your typical Denny's or IHOP. I was disappointed in the customer service simply because it took forever to get servers attention. Your average breakfast joint with insane portions. Defimitely a go to during the weekends if I dont wanna cook at home. By far, my favorite breakfast spot I've been to in any city. They are always busy, so be prepared to wait a bit. My usual location was the Mill Creek store and I was very upset when they closed that location. My husband enjoyed their huge portions of omelettes, especially the Greek omelette. My favorite meal here was the berry pancakes with devonshire cream. The berries are always fresh and juicy, the pancakes are huge, and the cream is amazing. I've been trying to make it at home myself with no luck. I have taken many family members here when they come out to visit. It's definitely worth a trip! They also have a punch card and when it's full you'll get a bit of money off your visit. Go here! read more

So- for food- I rate 5 stars.. but... the seating is cramped, and if you wind up with that darned table close to the door... you have to eat your breakfast looking at a wall of booties. Given the choice... if I were in that spot again.. I would grab my breakfast to go. My recommendation to the owners is to expand the waiting area. It was alright, but that's as far as I'll go. I ordered the california benedict, and it had no zip whatsover. It was boring, and the eggs were over-cooked. A poached egg should leak yolky goodness when you jab it with the fork, but the insides of mine were almost cooked through. The hashbrowns were incredible though. I love nice and crispy hashbrowns, and these did not disappoint. The rest of my party all ordered different things and everything else looked really good. Maybe avoid the benedict? Holy round omelettes, Batman! Dang that was a good omelette. First time I've seen an omelette in the shape of a circle but it was huge and delicious. I ordered fruit with it, can't imagine being able to finish the plate if I had ordered hash browns. Looks a little divey on the outside, but the interior is much better. Kinda small restaurant but we squeezed into the last couple spots. Service was very quick and we got our food in a very short amount of time. I've searched far and wide to find a good, healthy lunch in this area, and Patty's, surprisingly enough, is happy to serve me Mediterranean entrees like Chicken Souvlaki, Greek Salad, or Gyros, along with all the standard All-American diner fare you'd expect. I have to drive a couple of miles to get here, but it's worth it in an area that seems intent on tempting me to eat 1000-calorie cheap Chinese lunches every day. I have to say that for all the talk about this place, we found it to be just "ok". Long wait for table, overstaffed with employees standing around up front and in kitchen on cell phones. I always go here for their egg benedicts and they never disappoint me until today. The egg was not poached. It was over cooked and became soft boil egg. The sauce was not made properly either and you can taste the particles in the sauce. Also, I was served with a cracked plate. What a shame! read more

I was in on Easter and it was wonderful! Service and food couldn't have been better. My major issue and reason for not coming back is the unprofessional and flat out rude manager. The cashier accidentally mixed up mine and another customers credit card and ran them on the wrong ticket.. no big problem a refund was made, no harm no foul. The way she talked to the cashier was out of line. Was more then belittling and completely uncalled for. I loved going to this place but I find it hard to support a establishment when management can treat the employees in a degrading way. New management needed ASAP!! read more

Food was not bad at all. I went with the "Bigfoot" special, and my wife went with the Eggs Benedict. Servers did very well during the morning rush and was very responsive. I visited this little restaurant for the first time ever yesterday, and ordered the Nutter Butter French Toast and a side of hashbrowns. First of all, the look and feel of the place was a little less comfortable than I was expecting. It seemed bright, cold, all of the tables were packed together, and the place seemed a little... dingy? Given that it is a breakfast diner I kind of expected something with a warmer and more comforting atmosphere but it felt very much like an old roadside diner that wasn't terribly well taken care of. Even the tables were a little too small, and the creamer baskets, condiments, and jam took up a lot of room on them. I felt kind of squished. But it's the food that makes the restaurant, so I waited patiently for what sounded like a super awesome breakfast. After about 15 plus minutes, my French toast arrived. I will say, with no shadow of a doubt, no exaggeration, it was single handedly the most amazing breakfast food I'd had in a long time. It was crunchy, crispy, sweet, and the center was all hot, creamy peanut butter! Top it off with cool cream and sliced banana and you have heaven on a plate! ZERO COMPLAINTS. It was AMAZING. I asked for it without bacon or sausage but was charged the same price--a little bit of a bummer, but I didn't say anything. This was a perfect, delicious, deserty way to start my day and it was great. The hashbrowns, however, are another story. I think in the 15 plus minutes since I ordered, the primary focus had been on my French toast. The hashbrowns were thrown together at the last minute. They were cold and partially raw in the center and toward the bottom. Only the top part was fully fried before they shrugged and slapped it on the plate. I should have sent them back but I hate being a pain so I refrained--but for $3.50 a serving, the hashbrowns should have been cooked all the way through. That was definitely disappointing and I won't be ordering them again in the future. I think I'll go back the next time I'm looking to destroy my arteries with that sugary amazingness that was the French toast, but given the atmosphere and the treatment of the hashbrowns I'm not in any huge rush. read more

Just left Pattys- there were 4 large open garbage cans in lobby as we walked in - granted it's New Years Eve but they're open till 3:00 pm. We were seated in eye shot and smell of the garbage can, when I asked to be seated around the corner I was told that the section was closed. If this is what they're willing to expose customers to in the front of the restaurant, what are they doing in the back? Very unsanitary and disappointing as we used to visit often. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this place! It was really busy and we were told 25-30min and it took about half that. We were offered coffee or juice right upon sitting down and given water immediately. Our food only took about 10min and the portions were amazing! The thickest toast slices I've ever seen. As good as it gets! I have been coming to this location since it opened and the orriginal with Patty & Theo in Greenwood. This location has several servers that have awesome personalitiy and great service! The only thing that levels with Patty's awesome food & huge portions in this area is either Maltby Cafe or Brown Bag Cafe. Conclusion: Bring an appetite! Huge portions & excellent and original Menu items! Not just the usual eggs & Bacon or country scramble. Staff is consistently friendly. Floor plan is small & crowded so if you don't mind a close & personal setting. They also need a larger foyer to accommodation guests waiting for a table. read more

I swear this place used to be so good. Arrived around 9:15am on a Tuesday, not busy. Sat at the counter table for one please. From the get go it seemed like the 2 waitresses working were at odds- like there was this strange tension. I asked if they had half meals because who can eat 2 biscuits and eggs and bacon and hash browns? Someone out there can, but it's not me. Anyways the waitress showed me the back of the menu that had smaller sizes. I ordered biscuits and gravy, one egg and bacon. I asked for obrien potatoes instead of hash browns. The food came rather quick. Some of the bacon was seemingly uncooked. The biscuits and gravy were lukewarm at best. And I got hash browns. Not what I asked for. The waitress never asked me about my food. Waited until I was finished eating half my food before filling my coffee and spent more time arguing with the other waitress about staples than worrying about the 4 or so tables in the restaurant including me. When I went to pay I inquired about why my meal was a $1 more than the menu had stated, the condescending response I received was "well are you under 12 or over 55?!" Apparently I had missed that note on the menu. Ok no biggie but did she have to be so rude?! I doubt I'd eat here again which is sad. I guess that if you build your business up by having multiple locations as quickly as they have you should be aware quality suffers. read more

The hash browns tasted oddly floury, the corn-beef hash was from a can, the Elvis French Toast (aka the Nutter Butter French Toast) was kinda dry but the only decent thing on the plate. Updating my review after two subpar visits in a row. Came in today with my daughter and her friend, it took over 15 mins to get serviced and then we received two waffles that were severely undercooked and raw, this was after waiting 29 minutes for our food. I'm a vegetarian and our server brought my waffle out to me with two pieces of bacon, aka pig fat, shoved right up on my waffle. The server never introduced herself, otherwise I would totally call her out, she was completely unfriendly and uninterested in taking care of the three of us. The 12 year old girls noticed that she wasn't nice to us at all, but nice to the other tables. I can't give them a 1 star review because I typically have great service here and even over tip. Lady today is not getting a tip of any kind. read more

So disappointed on my first visit. Food came hot but the taste was just ok. Coffee was really bitter and didn't enjoy. We sat by the entry which was not a good choice. There's no waiting area so people stand around the tables waiting to be seated. We paid over $35 for 2 guests which was too much! Overall a so so experience. Good food, decent service, but this place is crowded. The building is small to begin with and there is always, no really always, a line. The food could be classified as comfort food, and not fancy. The customers are regular Joes and Josephines, with the average age being over 50. I am not sure the long lines and waiting time is worth the food you get. I love Patty's! The staff is friendly and the food is great. They have a nice senior menu that has more than just a few selections. I have a small tummy and it's nice to be able to get something other than 1 plain egg like so many other restaurants. Their prices are more than reasonable and the OJ is fresh squeezed.
