About 10 minutes from the Woodenville winery. As we stepped inside, a warm and enchanting ambiance wrapped around us, filled with the harmonious sounds of clinking glasses and plates that blended in perfect harmony. The heavenly aroma of freshly prepared food wafted through the air, teasing our senses and building excitement while the cozy decor instantly elevated our mood. With an exceptional selection of wine and drinks, plus captivating indoor and outdoor seating, it seemed every whim was thoughtfully catered to. Despite arriving at 1:00 to a lively crowd, we were seated promptly, thanks to the impeccable and exceptional service. Our server's remarkable attentiveness and expertise set the tone for a truly unforgettable meal, and another staff member exceeded our expectations, sharing delightful stories about all their special events, such as Happy Hour and Wine Wednesday, and inviting us back for dinner. She shared that the biscuits we inquired about were made in-house, a testament to the restaurant's pursuit of excellence. With customer service that inspires and leaves a lasting impression, we can't wait to return and relish the experience once more. I highly recommend the Biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict, or the Cottage Breakfast; all were truly spectacular! This place truly deserves a spot on your must-visit list, and I highly recommend it.

At today's restaurant prices when you splurge on a nice dinner you really want it to be an experience. Russell's delivered in every respect. Although it is located adjacent to a business park you feel like you're in a small town rural setting. Our server was wonderful. He was equal parts host, advisor, comedian, and server. His skill added to the experience, without being intrusive. Cocktails were delightful. One Laphroaig with a big cube, one Huckleberry cosmo. Dinner was a split beet salad, one ribeye done medium rare, and one rack of lamb also done medium rare. Both were perfect, the salad was the great starter. For a complete dinner experience Russell's is a fantastic option.

Interesting story there with the wines/owners that I'll spare you - but to the event. Wine was flowing and overall tasty. As with any tasting, some are to your taste, some aren't. The food overall also was good! Nitpicking we were less than impressed with the rissoto and a couple other small things - but considering they were catering for 100 folks and still running normal service downstairs it was pretty good! That ganache tart was killer. Would love to come back for regular dinner and see how they really shine. 8/10 will return

Taco Tuesday is offered: two pork tacos for $8 or four pork tacos for $14. During our visit, my wife and I slurped on Manny's and Bodhi. My wife ordered the Happy Hour Wings (10) for $14. I ordered the two Pork Tacos for $8. During our visit, service was slow to non-existent. When cashing out I was not given happy prices and was told that our order had not been entered into the system in time. I had to actually show a picture of my food with the date time stamp (delivered 15 minutes before HH ended) in order to have happy hour prices honored. Overall, service and food did not impress me.

Never even knew this area existed, but here we are. Started out with an Acid BlackBerry Cider, and it did not disappoint. This place is actually pretty big, with tons of seating and ambiance. After some chit chat, we ordered and I went with the Double Smash Burger and regular Fries. In the mighty and powerful words of Buford T. Justice... "SOMBITCH!!" Hands down the BEST Smash Burger I've had! Paired perfectly with dill pickle slices, that double American Cheese, grilled onions and whatever sauce or spread they had on it...warning... it's juicy and can get a little sloppy, but that makes a solid smash burger!!! That meal perfectly hit the spot! Could be a bit pricey on the menu, but anymore, what place isn't? Either way, you can expect some awesome grub that won't break the bank... especially if the Director is picking up the tab ;). The service was great, the conversation and team was in good form and cheer, and the meal was spot on. Hoping one day I get back out this way as an excuse to stop by again. Thanks for the experience and as always, enjoy and have a Smashing Ol' Time!

They automatically add 20% which I was fine with because service was great, but just a heads up. Food & drink: (4/5) We got the Cajun tots to share with a side of ranch, which I think they make in-house. The tots were just the right amount of crunch and savory-ness. Exactly what I needed. To drink, I got the triPPPy cider and I really enjoyed it! The fruity notes aren't as strong in this one compared to other ciders I've had but it was still great. Finished it all. Service: (4/5) Super friendly. Just wish our food came a little faster. There weren't many people sitting in and our tator tots took maybe 30 mins. Other notes: Not exactly sure how the parking situation is still since we got there at 10:30pm in the pitch dark. We ended up at the parking lot next door and wandered over until we found it. It's a cool atmosphere, waitress was kind, service was alright, but the only thing that stood out was the surprisingly low quality of my food. I don't usually order a chicken tender meal, but theirs was located at the top of the menu and it had a buttered up description, so I gave it a try.... And then I regretted my decision as soon as I saw my plate. Frozen chicken tenders, dirty grease fries, and watery coleslaw. All for $25. It was unreasonable. It gave me more of a $8 Dairy Queen chicken basket vibe, but I don't want to diss Dairy Queen. I'll pay $25 for Queen before I return to McMenamins. Would love to see McMenamins take a step up on this so they can give their guests an experience more pleasant than mine.

We try to avoid going there between 5 and 6 PM just because it seems to be the busiest with the longest wait times, but times before or after this seem to be fine. The dining room has a good ambience with local pictures and colorful lamps, and it never seems to be too loud or too cold or too hot.
