A lot of chain restaurants get a bed rep for essentially being a chain. You're not going to find careful family meals, so that's not how I look at them when I'm rating them. Every time we come to this location (and the location is important as the individuals really make or break things!) we have a great experience. We are constantly seated right away, have the friendliest wait staff, and get our food quickly. We usually come for happy hour and order a load of apps for the table, and the price is unbeatable. We order 3 apps for the two of us and spend just over $30 with tip. Paying is easy with the devices on the table, and it even accepts gift cards right there. We are regulars here. Staff is super efficient and friendly. Choice of beer is a bit limited. Selection of food is varied and they have special offering of new items often. The menus list the calories for every item, including alcohol which I wish more establishments would do. While looking over the menu we sipped on: Mucho Blue Hawaiian for $7 (hh), Whiskey Sour for $8.75, Jack & Coke for $6 (hh), and Barefoot Chardonnay for $5 (hh). My daughter and her BF opted for the 2 for $25 entrée deal. They chose Boneless Wings as their appetizer. She chose the 8oz Top Sirloin and he chose the Three Cheese Chicken Penne. My wife and I shared the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp for $16.99. We added a House Salad for $5.99. Boyfriend received a complimentary to-go order of Sugar Dusted Donut Dippers for his birthday. I went in with my mom for lunch after a hair appointment and we were one of two, two-people parties at 11am. The staff were friendly, efficient, and our waitress checked on us periodically refilling our water and such. I got a salad with my Impossible Burger (no tomato extra pickle) and it was a simple straight forward green salad with shredded cheese, three croutons and dressing on the side. Everything that was ordered was done well and hit the spot, the only reason for missing star is because it seemed to take a bit long to get the food once ordered considering we were some of the only ones in there. BE AWARE GLASS IN KIDS FOOD I was there Friday may 15th 2025 and my brother found glass inside of his KIDS yogurt. He is a 6 year old. It is unexceptionable to have it in any food dish, but to know an item is for a child off the kids menu to come to your table and have to find out that a childs food has glass inside it is despicable for a major food chain. Not only is this a kitchen management problem it runs as deep as a front/back of house quality assurance problem. I have been a manager before there is no reason for there to be any glass inside of a child's food. This is unacceptable. I've come for the vodka lemonades before - which were terrible due to the lemonade they used, but since long islands seemed more "safe" I was willing to give another go. No name tag but I later learn it was Lisa L from our receipt when you Kindly helped us check out with the machine on the table. She kept my coffee full, she brought out our food while it was hot, very attentive but not annoying at all. It was the perfect service expectation. She kept my coffee cup full with hot fresh coffee which was appreciated as well. The waitress was probably one of the best waitresses we have had anywhere besides our normal drop in who know us well. A+++ service. My hubby ordered the whisky burger and I the new sweet and spicy chicken sandwich. The new sandwich was messy and sticky by the time I was eating I needed a wet nap but used the napkin on the table dipped it in my ice cold water glass I didn't drink from and cleaned my hands off. I have some good times at Applebee's, and some really lousy experiences. So I never know what to expect. Lunch here was nice. I sat at the bar, and the bartender/ server was friendly and efficient. I had the quesadilla burger. What appealed to me is that I could enjoy a burger and pick it up without being filled up by bread, and this entrée delivered exactly that. The burger was done just right, not overcooked and dry. I had them hold the bacon because it just didn't seem to match the rest of the flavors. The fries were hot and plentiful. Wow! This place has really gone downhill in the last few years! It would often take quite a long time to get our food pre-COVID, but the food was almost always fresh and tasty. We liked the ribs, steaks, and boneless chicken wings the best. Since COVID began, we had takeout twice, and it was not very good at all. Although we ordered early to make sure it wouldn't be super busy, the app pickup time and actual pick up time was 45 minutes to an hour different! The food was okay, but our last order of boneless wings was nothing but lukewarm chicken nuggets! The meat patties from the burgers were tasty, but everything else was just sad.
