Always get a bottle. Well worth it!
Sandra L.

We are from San Diego where the sun is always shining. But- every time we make our way out to Seattle we make sure we make reservations at our favorite restaurant in Bothell. The service is always great and to food and ambiance is always-always nice and relaxing. We went for our wedding anniversary. Hubs steak was cooked to perfection and my filet was delicious. Thank you Russell's for always making our experience wonderful. 10/10 recommend

Grilled Filet Mignon entree
Lisa R.

This place is a hidden gem of a restaurant located in Bothell business park area. Each time I visit, every table seems filled. This visit I had the Filet Mignon entree medium-rare and it was perfection! The focaccia bread served with a balsamic/oil dipping sauce was freshly made, toasty and warm! Service was incredible as well...I don't think my water glass ever went below half-filled throughout the evening. Very pleasant atmosphere that feels subtly upscale. Would highly recommend for any occasion, be it date night, birthdays or anniversary!

'd our dinner here last nite‼ We started with a bottle of wine & teriyaki filet mignon tips ~ YUMMMMM ~ Then we had the duck, the pork chop, truffle mac & cheese, and finished it off with the amazing chocolate lava cake ‼ Our server Dan and his helper Jackson were on point !! Not what I would normally spend on dinner, but definitely worth it

My wife and I took our son and daughter-in-law to Russell's as a treat while we were in town. What a great place. Service and atmosphere were awesome. We ordered drinks, plus I had the French Onion soup and the others had salads. All top-notch. For our main course, two of us ordered the filet and my son had the NY Strip. My daughter-in-law had the Prawn Linguine. Steaks were cooked exactly as ordered and were outstanding. All around awesome evening!

Beef Tips

What a magnificant restaruant! We celebrated my birthday here and made reservations via Open Table. That process went smoothly and our table was ready when we arrived. We started with the Beef Tips and the charcuterie board. Wow, the beef tips were fantastic--Soo tender and flavorful. We got the fettuccine with prawns, rack of lamb (their special), sea bass, and filet mignon for entrees. Everything was so wonderfully prepared. I very much enjoyed the garlic mashed potatoes. I asked for my steak medium well (on accident, I word vomited) but they cooked it how I asked... even though in my heart I meant medium rare. The server explained they had to butterfly the filet open to cook it that way. For drinks, I got an amaretto sour (my go-to) and they made it beautifully. We ended our night with espresso martinis and WHEW those were strong- we didn't finish them. Slightly disappointed by that... I like mine creamier and saw that Bailey's was an ingredient so I figured it would be more to my liking. The ambiance was nice- quiet, elevated, and classy. We liked the decor and table settings. Minor note- I wish the candles on the table were real rather than fake battery-operated ones.

Chocolate lava cake, baked to order!
Andrew Z.

What a phenomenal experience. Everything from the ambiance to the service to the quality of the food. The scallops and salmon were spectacular, and the chocolate lava cake was an amazing end to the meal. Our server, Daniel, deserves a raise and his photo should be on a wall of the World's Best Waiters or something. He was helpful and hilarious. This place absolutely slaps and I will be back as soon as is humanly possible.

Carmel Bread pudding. Cute writing. Too much bread, not enough pudding.

We found parking pretty easily on a Friday night. We had a reservation for 6:30 and were seated right away. The staff were kind and attentive. The atmosphere is white table cloth but cozy. We each ordered a glass of wine - Grenache & franc. They were good. The bread is included with the meal and delicious. $4 for a refill. The baby spinach salad was the star of the night. 5/5 stars for it. My partner liked his fettuccini, but it wasn't anything special. He'd get it again if the opportunity arose but prefers an Italian spot in downtown bothell. For $40 I expect top notch food and the pork chop entree wasn't it. The waitress said Russell liked his butterflied medium well, so we went with that. It came out pretty well done with some grill char. We should have gone with medium. The mashed potato's were solid. The butternut squash was underdone and lacked flavor while the 3 Brussels sprouts were over cooked, under seasoned, and some of the worst ones I've had from a restaurant. It was disappointing. The bread pudding was 95% bread with maybe 5% pudding. It was more of a monkey bread. Good but not exactly what we wanted and very sweet compared to other bread puddings. There was definitely a lot of caramel, and the message was a nice touch. The food was generally good but not at all worth the price. It was fun to knock it off the to-visit list, but I wouldn't go back for anything but the salad. Also the person who boxed up our pasta mixed the shrimp shells (that were all piled on the opposite side of the plate to the food) into the pasta.

Grilled Wild King Salmon

I was at Russell's for an event, so the menu is fixed, and sides are reduced. The experience was still very good with attentive service. Water and bread were both refilled in a timely manner. Being a steakhouse, the interior is the typical dark wood look and decorated with lots of game (skin, head), too many, in my opinion. Eeew... The Food: Classic Caesar Salad, half, $7.50 - 4 Stars Served with house-made garlic croutons and parmesan, the half size is just right. Bread (refill), $4 - 4.5 Stars Macrina Bakery Herbed Focaccia. These are served warm and deliciously buttery and herby. They are quite an indulgence. Grilled Salmon - 4 Stars I am guessing it is the same beurre blanc sauce but with simplified sides of mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables of green beans and carrots. The normal menu grilled salmon is $54 and served with shiitake mushrooms, potato gnocchi, and veggies. Doesn't matter, though. This was a delicious dish where the wild king salmon is perfectly grilled - tender and not dry. As long as the salmon is good, I am satisfied.

One of our absolute favorite places for an awesome dinner! Always on point and delicious. The service is always great and friendly. Last night we enjoyed the double cut pork chop, The Duck, scallops and mushrooms for appetizers and crème brûlée and chocolate Carmel tart for dessert! Yum!!!

Creme brûlée was perfection! Crisps top and smooth&soft creamy custard that isn't too sweet.

This is a unique restaurant setting in a barn. The menu is limited but the foods are delicious! Service was excellent and we enjoyed our time there! Our favorite was the scallops dish and the desserts!

I honestly don't get it, but I still tipped above 15% for the service regardless. Service was very attentive, so I do feel they deserve a reasonable tip. But if the restaurant needs the customer to help them pay for their staff with this added surcharge to the bill, then maybe it's better for the staff to find a better job. Seems strange to me. But anyways, regardless, I enjoyed the food quite a bit. I'm usually a pretty tough critique on Italian food since it's one of my favorite cuisines. So for me to say the food is good should say a lot. I got their chicken risotto and I was impressed by it. I also got an opportunity to try some of their pizza and the crust was done very well. Not a floppy pizza. They have a proper pizza oven for baking it. Very good! The restaurant atmosphere feels quite high end. Great for date night, business dinners, or a fancy family meal. The restaurant did feel a bit crowded and tight though. Especially with how busy it was. I honestly think this place has great food. I just hope the staff gets paid enough. Like, I'll tip! Just don't have me pay for what the employer should be paying them. Just have me pay them for their great service.

We had some great conversations while I was enjoying my order. I got an Irish coffee and a slice of banana cream pie. Don't judge... the combo was awesome! Chef Brad's version definitely gets high marks for it's flakey crust, creamy coconut filling topped with Chantilly cream. The Steak & Ale Pot Pie warmed up in the air fryer came out well. It's a tasty pie with generous amount of tender beef with peas and carrots. I'm convinced that any pie I get here is going to be delicious and satisfying.

These bars might be where the locals hang out. Suite C's is right next to a Mexican market that appears to be packed with the good stuff. Suite C's is kinda small; there are a couple low tables, a couple high ones, and 3 stools at the bar. They're the western-Washington pour room for J Bell Wines. I tried the flight of these and liked the grenache blanc enough to buy a bottle. Their reds were forgettable. Suite C's also sells tons and tons of other Washington, European, and other wines. We tried flights of reds, bubbles, and roses while we were here. The Spanish and Washington reds were all tempranillos and all just great. The roses were from France, Spain, and WA, also all great. The sparkling wines were from all over Europe and had a nice range from drier to sweeter. The bartender showed us how different sparkling wine tastes in a flute compared to a wine glass, which was eye-opening and very fun. They know their stuff backwards and forwards here, and the more interested you are in learning about the wines, the happier they are to tell you about them. It's a little place, with just one closet-sized washroom in back. I could easily see hitting this place many times in the future.
