Service outstanding. I ordered the chicken Katsu and eggs (already ate the eggs) Katsu is a deep fat fried chicken breast with panko served with rice and a spicy ketchup type sauce. Today's katsu was just warm and with being in a deep fat fryer it's necessary to be hot or the fat seeps in. Server was quick to replace. Yes came back hot but they just put it back in the deep fat fryer and not very tough and dry. While my friend isn't a brunch person, he told me his wife's coworker had suggested the place to him before. After having his kiddo though, they haven't had time to really explore places like they used to. Since I love breakfast/brunch and heavy foods, we decided this would be a good place to try. Given that this was your classic brunch diner, I didn't really go in with any high expectations, just that I would have a decent enjoyable breakfast...and I was right! This used to be the spot. Emphasis on used to be. Came in, got on the list, gave my phone number and popped over to the Thai market next door. When we got done there I popped back in to see where we were on the list only to see my name crossed off along with several under it. Asked for someone to assist, who didn't speak English, and showed my crossed off name. She shook her head and said "no tables" gesturing to the full restaurant. I said I see that but how much longer, she said please wait. Two additional people came up to le while I was standing there and asked if I was Crystal - yes, I showed them me on the list crossed off (also side note if they knew who I was who did they give my table to because they did not call?!). Anyway a couple tables left and we were given next seating. The waitress came over promptly took our order (super nice by the way) and then we wait. And wait. And wait. We watched several people get their food, several DoorDash orders, and yet still nothing for us. It took forty...FORTY!!! minutes to get our food. Well we ordered some food this morning for breakfast. Went to pick it up. And we were HANDED our order. I was who picked it up so I Informed the girl I was talking to at the front that it's not my name on the bag but the person I'm with in the car and I pointed at her and was given the okay to go. When i got there I was met by what I imagine was some sort of manager telling me to hold on and check next time before just take an order to go. This is probably our 3rd time here and maybe our last unfortunately. We stopped in for breakfast this morning and only a few other tables of diners there. I had the corn beef hash today and definitely won't order again. Not horrible but not great either. My hash browns were barely cooked, slightly tan. My husband had bacon and eggs and had ordered well done crispy hash browns. Eggs not cooked right, bacon good but his hash browns were about as undercooked as mine. We had to ask for more coffee which isn't a big deal normally but the diner was almost empty. Breakfast cook needs to be trained or something because it was a sad day to eat there. This place is very well lighted and bright being at the corner of a strip mall. The owners have done a great job in keeping it very neat, clean and tidy... Being a family run restaurant (I think), the service is on point. The hostess was kind and hospitable... Ordered a breakfast sandwich with Wheat Bread, Cheese and eggs, thick cut bacon and O'Briens potatoes, which is unpeeled red potatoes sautéed with onions and peppers, along with coffee.. The thick cut bacon was hard, very salty and difficult to eat, removed it and then ate the sandwich. The O'Briens potatoes lacked flavor and were not the best accompaniment to the sandwich imho. The coffee was ok. Will try this place again and try something else to see if there's a good combo that works better.. read more

Don't expect to much, as Patty's is a tad above Denny's with bigger portions and much bigger prices. We just came today Sat Oct 12, around 12:30pm for lunch. I will review specifically about 1 staff on this visit. Working at the food industry, I believe these situations are trully unacceptable. **She was constantly eating from behind the bar, ate some slices of apple and other food in between serving customers. She didnt even try to hide, it seems it happens often. She looks very comfortable about it. It was nonstop during my visit. **Furthermore, she cough many times in between tables. She did covered it, but with her hands! (While serving foods & drinks). She never washed her hands. She brought foods to tables, gave to go boxes, gave forks & spoons, gave napkins to customers with her filthy hands. I tried to get her name, but none of the employees worn nametags. But this is her description: she has long hair, black hair, speaking spanish. Hope the management will do something about it. I tried to send email to the website, but I had to sign up first to make a comment. What a hustle really! It's trully unappropriate & unacceptable. The door says they close at 2pm, well this is incorrect. I guess thier store hours are 1:45pm. I walked in on a Wednesday at 1:48 to place a to go order and the lady said they were closed. I visit this one on Bothell-Everett highway any time I can when in the area. Here you will get your traditional eggs, bacon and assortment of starches pancakes and waffles, but there are many other choices as well. For me, their steak and eggs are always a go to, and the chicken fried steak and eggs are right their as well. If you are a biscuits and gravy person, you will not be disappointed here in the slightest. For those looking for a little lighter fare, there is always an assortment of fresh fruits, veggie style omelette sand other choices if you are strong enough to stay on the path and not stray into this wonderful world of home cooking. This location is a bit small, so just realize that more than likely there will be a wait. There is also bar seating which if you pay attention you can pretty much find a spot or two almost all the time. I had an opportunity to visit this restaurant over the weekend for a Sunday brunch. I would say I enjoyed the brunch overall. The restaurant was a decent place with a very welcoming staff. The ambience was ok. This a place where you get food at a decent price with leftovers to take back as well. We ordered veggie omlette and benedict and waffles. The omlettes here are frittata style which I liked. The veggies blended well with the taste. The hash brown was huge. The belgian waffle was as expected. The benedict was good as well, however I felt the hollaindaise sauce could be better. The menu had lot of options, so there will be lot to choose from.
