Just good, locally owned and creative food at a reasonable price. Can we ask for more?

Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Coffee hot however weak for my taste but no one's fault just a preference. The chicken fried steak was very hot however, it was extremely tough and had a lot of gristle. Server apologized and made it right. Sorry no pictures of eggs. read more

I was visiting a friend in the area and we decided to stop by Patty's Eggnest for the first time. While my friend isn't a brunch person, he told me his wife's coworker had suggested the place to him before. After having his kiddo though, they haven't had time to really explore places like they used to. Since I love breakfast/brunch and heavy foods, we decided this would be a good place to try. Given that this was your classic brunch diner, I didn't really go in with any high expectations, just that I would have a decent enjoyable breakfast...and I was right! When my plate came out, I was happily greeted with a mountain of food with everything I would want in a classic breakfast. While the coffee was just okay, it's not something that I would typically expect to stand out anyways so I wouldn't dock a star for that. Service was also as expected, nothing noteworthy either way. Overall the place met expectations and so I would go again! read more

This used to be the spot. Emphasis on used to be. Came in, got on the list, gave my phone number and popped over to the Thai market next door. When we got done there I popped back in to see where we were on the list only to see my name crossed off along with several under it. Asked for someone to assist, who didn't speak English, and showed my crossed off name. She shook her head and said "no tables" gesturing to the full restaurant. I said I see that but how much longer, she said please wait. Two additional people came up to le while I was standing there and asked if I was Crystal - yes, I showed them me on the list crossed off (also side note if they knew who I was who did they give my table to because they did not call?!). Anyway a couple tables left and we were given next seating. The waitress came over promptly took our order (super nice by the way) and then we wait. And wait. And wait. We watched several people get their food, several DoorDash orders, and yet still nothing for us. It took forty...FORTY!!! minutes to get our food. On top of that the onions and peppers in the Denver omelette were essentially raw, they maybe hit a pan briefly and there were two random black beans in my wife's loco moco plate. 1/10 won't be back. read more

Great food and service have been there many times clean friendly atmosphere will go back many more times

Melissa was absolutely amazing at Patty's Eggnest. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely cared about our experience. She really knows the menu well and helped us make great decisions--whether that meant recommending items or correcting small details to make sure everything came out just right. Service like hers makes a huge difference. We felt taken care of from start to finish, and that alone makes me want to come back. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm visiting. Highly recommend asking for Melissa! read more

This is probably our 3rd time here and maybe our last unfortunately. We stopped in for breakfast this morning and only a few other tables of diners there. I had the corn beef hash today and definitely won't order again. Not horrible but not great either. My hash browns were barely cooked, slightly tan. My husband had bacon and eggs and had ordered well done crispy hash browns. Eggs not cooked right, bacon good but his hash browns were about as undercooked as mine. We had to ask for more coffee which isn't a big deal normally but the diner was almost empty. Breakfast cook needs to be trained or something because it was a sad day to eat there. The server was great asking what you wanted from half way across the room almost yelling ‍ She did apologize for the sorry state of my husband's breakfast but she could have sent the food back to be prepared as was ordered and just almost laziness to toss it on the table. Sad day at Pattys read more

Well we ordered some food this morning for breakfast. Went to pick it up. And we were HANDED our order. I was who picked it up so I Informed the girl I was talking to at the front that it's not my name on the bag but the person I'm with in the car and I pointed at her and was given the okay to go. When I got home realizing I was handed the wrong one I went back to take the old order back and get mine. When i got there I was met by what I imagine was some sort of manager telling me to hold on and check next time before just take an order to go. Huge attitude and told me how she had to remake the order. Also YOU'RE NOT supposed to take the old order back anyway so learn your job? I grabbed the bag, the only one up there and got my okay to leave. Your customer service was trash and that woman who spoke to me like it was something I did something wrong should probably take some courses to learn better customer service. Not how I wanna start a Monday morning Karen's Egg Nest. read more

This place is very well lighted and bright being at the corner of a strip mall. The owners have done a great job in keeping it very neat, clean and tidy... Being a family run restaurant (I think), the service is on point. The hostess was kind and hospitable... Ordered a breakfast sandwich with Wheat Bread, Cheese and eggs, thick cut bacon and O'Briens potatoes, which is unpeeled red potatoes sautéed with onions and peppers, along with coffee.. The thick cut bacon was hard, very salty and difficult to eat, removed it and then ate the sandwich. The O'Briens potatoes lacked flavor and were not the best accompaniment to the sandwich imho. The coffee was ok. Will try this place again and try something else to see if there's a good combo that works better.. read more

Never again will I go there? I was in the restroom. Someone was in the restroom with me making all kinds of weird noises like she was sick. She got up went out did not wash her hands and when I went out to the dining room, it was one of the waitresses. I was completely appalled and shared it with the manager the waitress that did not wash her hands could not speak English, which is very offputting. sorry, but I will never return. read more

First time ordering out - delivered by Uber. Overall I was pleased. A little cold when it got to my house but this is to be expected. Big portions and great prices. Provided napkins, jellies, butter and silverware. Working from home has given me more of an opportunity to try things via delivery. Its nice to have the basics that I don't have time to cook made for me that is packaged well. I will be making another order again soon. read more

I ordered takeout from here and it did not disappoint. Their scramble is exactly what I would look for in a breakfast entree. Great portion of meat and veggies. We just came today Sat Oct 12, around 12:30pm for lunch. I will review specifically about 1 staff on this visit. Working at the food industry, I believe these situations are trully unacceptable. **She was constantly eating from behind the bar, ate some slices of apple and other food in between serving customers. She didnt even try to hide, it seems it happens often. She looks very comfortable about it. It was nonstop during my visit. **Furthermore, she cough many times in between tables. She did covered it, but with her hands! (While serving foods & drinks). She never washed her hands. She brought foods to tables, gave to go boxes, gave forks & spoons, gave napkins to customers with her filthy hands. I tried to get her name, but none of the employees worn nametags. But this is her description: she has long hair, black hair, speaking spanish. Hope the management will do something about it. I tried to send email to the website, but I had to sign up first to make a comment. What a hustle really! It's trully unappropriate & unacceptable. It seems whoever in charge that time didnt really care neither. read more

Patty's Eggnest in Bothell/Mill Creek has turned into a staple in Mill Creek for a good breakfast. We visit there one a month to grab the chicken fried steak or the egg and bacon option. Don't expect to much, as Patty's is a tad above Denny's with bigger portions and much bigger prices. The best part is that when you go in to eat, you will be among friends as regulars are there quite a bit. Weekends get slammed so be prepared to wait, especially on Sundays. read more

The door says they close at 2pm, well this is incorrect. I guess thier store hours are 1:45pm. I walked in on a Wednesday at 1:48 to place a to go order and the lady said they were closed. They had shut down the grill and closed the register. Hope the manager knows they just lost a sale and probably a customer. read more

it's a really cute place. the food is good, the service is decent. table was sticky, but that happens. server came over and asked what we wanted to drink, two out of five of our party answered and she walked away for 2+ minutes and got their drinks and then walked away without talking to the other three of us. but, it happens! brain fog and all :) anyway, i'd recommend! read more

We tried this place on a friend's recommendation and we so happy to have found another good breakfast place close. The Eggs Benedict was good, not the greatest I have had. My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast. We waiting about 5 minutes for a table. We visited on a weekend morning. The service was outstanding. I had the French toast and it was delicious and my husband had the swedish pancake. We split a side of hash browns...they were cooked perfectly. We also ordered some chicken sausage - great tasting!
