The pancakes here are fantastic, and the eggs Benedict is great, however the table service is basically always slow, the friendliness is hit or miss, and even when wait staff put in details of a customization for a dish, you're not guaranteed that your final plate will reflect it. The ambiance is casual and they have hand-thrown ceramic coffee mugs for sale placed all over as decor, I also recommend reservations as they fill up fast and take several minutes to turn over tables.

The food and service are excellent. Pretty delicious. Homy atmosphere, quiet, calm, cozy and not crowded.

Who don't love Pancakes for breakfast? I love it! The Original Pancake House was in my radar for a long time. Finally decided to take my extended family there for a breakfast! Warm welcome from the Staffs over there. We were helped by Christine that day! It's a classy place. Well decored. The interior is so appealing. The table arrangement, I found it's unique with round tables present. It's a very clean and tidy place as well. Pancakes, a lot of varieties and specialties, waffles, meat & eggs, crepes, breakfast bowls, sides and beverages. Their menu is absolutely terrific! We picked up the buttermilk pancakes, Swedish pancakes, Fresh vegetarian Omelettes, Waffles and coffees. Wait time was hardly 5-6 minutes; and Christine started bringing the order one by one. Swedish pancake - never tried this before - and it came out as a big surprise. Very delicious, soft and melted in the mouth. A lot of veggies in the omelette - very delightful. The pancakes and the waffles truly lived up to our expectations. Christine was amazing. Really enjoyed her hospitality. She was always around, kept on come around to check us. This is a great place to enjoy a nice breakfast with your loved ones or friends. Great customer service. Amazing food! Highly recommend!

Well this couldn't have gone worse I'm usually ok with waits, for whatever reason our area doesn't have a ton of breakfast places but my goodness this was atrocious We waited for a table, waited to order, waited to get our to go order that they lost, refilled up only one of cups of coffee, didn't get our to go order in until we've been waiting forever for our waitress to come back Essentially is was a pathetic experience, yes staff shortages is a thing and I'm absolutely empathetic with servers, restaurant owner etc but when there is 0 care and mistake after mistake after mistake. Yeah no I have no more sympathies to give here. A few months back I came and I loved everything about this place, servers were great and attentive and their turn around was quick and food was on point. Wow what a difference a month or two makes. Let's talk food Chocolate chip pancakes: 10/10 OMG it hits so good every time. Anytime I'm in the mood for really good pancakes this is what comes to mind. Fluffy tasty and the perfect amount of mini chocolate chips Swedish pancakes: 10/10 generous portion of this golden flaky thin pancakes with a helping of lingonberry jam very well balanced Chicken sausage: 10/10 probably the best place for a decent chicken sausage *Just be aware that they use heavy cream as their creamer for coffee Disappointed and not coming back to this branch

The Kirkland location of this restaurant used to be super popular, and I was never sure why. It was always so busy, that I never bothered waiting to try it. I was in the area near this location, so I decided to give this one a try. It's okay. Kind of IHOP crossed with Denny's. The problem with this location is it is next door to a senior citizen living community. There were also two senior citizens' buses that arrived with more people while I was there. Nothing wrong with senior citizens, unless you want to overhear conversations about how much they like Dave Ramsey but don't keep their money in envelopes, how bad Jay Inslee and Joe Biden are, how Trump is sure to win in 2024, and all the latest gossip and goings-on with everyone's illnesses, etc. Food is typical mediocre IHOP or Denny's. It's also pretty pricey for what it is. I ask for just a few bananas, like half a banana, for my pancakes. That was an extra almost 5 dollars. I won't be returning to this or any other location of this chain.

Crepes served over the edge of the plate.

WOW what a let down!!! This wasn't our first visit to this location & had always been been pleased. However this time we were extremely disappointed. It started off great with very little wait time. Our waitress, Jami P was awesome!!! Very friendly & helpful. We could see she was handling a lot of tables in the main dining area by herself so waiting for an extra minute or so was not going to be a problem. After our order was taken is when things started falling apart! The food was delivered by another young gal, not Jami. My husband ordered the Mini Minced Ham & Eggs & I got the Cherry Kijafa Crepes, powered sugar on the side. When the food was delivered I noticed the gal was carrying one smaller plate literally sitting on top of my crepes. (Who know what may have been added to my crepes from that plate.) When she lifted the egg plate, the cherry sauce from the crepes dripped from the bottom of the plate on the edge of the table and his serving area. So when he tried to adjust his plate the cherry sauce got him all sticky. The mini minced Ham & Eggs were definitely "mini" at $14.95. It was served on a small plate similar to a salad plate with the hash browns spread out in a single layer just enough to cover about 1/2 the plate. The food was barely warm. Then there were my crepes. The crepes were served on a plate too small for them as they overlapped the edges of the plate causing the food to sit on the table with more cherry sauce that got all over the table. The powdered sugar that came on the side was so hard I had to stab it several times with my fork to try to break some free & then smashed it down to try to spread it out. My food also was just barely warm. I tried getting the attention of the gal that served us, but she just looked & then walked away each time. This definitely is not the "Original Pancake House" we use to love going to!!! Unless something changes we definitely won't be going back. If we do go back it will be because of Jami P!

With omelets as a big as your head! A friend of mine took me here when we were feeling like brunch on a Sunday afternoon. Service is albeit slow, but the food is so worth what you pay for. I went for the omelette and hash browns. This was enough to last me through three meals during the week. The atmosphere is fairly cozy. Parking and getting in and out wasn't too bad. Food was overall delicious!

Look at all the burnt part of this pancake. Would you eat it?

I've been aware of the Seattle location because of the cute name, like mountain bao, but never visited. Lynnwood (Mill Creek) area is a bit more convenient, so decided to stop by. Kind service, mainly taking orders and dropping off food, but was pleasant. Green Beans - solid green beans! No meat but stir fried well. A bit pricey but a solid shareable portion. I'd love a version with some meat but I can appreciate being vegetarian friendly. Pan Fried Pork Bao - sadly no soup in this pan fried bao. I think there was too much bread because everything was very doughy while the actual pork was tiny in comparison. If there was more meat then maybe the extra large dough would be okay. On the bright side I guess this is a filling item with the carbs. Xiaolongbao - Unfortunately, 2 out of 8 XLB were ripped and the soup spilled in the steamer. Those ones were extremely sad and disappointing. However, even the remaining 6 XLB didn't have that much soup. I would skip the XLB here which sucks because the place literally has bao in the name. Shu Mai - tasty, hearty, comfy, and satisfies the craving perfectly. Large and scrumptious, as delicious as any dim sum spot. Highly recommend because I was shocked, not expecting much.

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
