Chicken Dinner Combos - 2 Pieces & Chicken Strips
    Hillary P.

Ordered togo! They were super busy right before thanksgiving but the staff did well under pressure. The place was clean and plenty of places to sit and wait for our order. The meal was a comfort food dream. The crunchy skin texture in the chicken is top notch. The peach cobbler was 10/10. Definitely coming back.

    4 Pieces

We ordered a 4 piece chicken from Ezells and it tasted horrible. It was bland, over oily and dry.

    Chicken Tender Combos (1/2 Pound)

Stopped in and got the 1/2 pound of chicken tenders. Chicken was crispy, juicy, just the right amount of breading. Goes great with the honey mustard dipping sauce. For sides I had mashed potatoes and slaw, both were good. It also comes with a tasty Hawaiian roll. Service was super quick. I did a takeout order and it was about five minutes start to finish. Yelp prompts you to write about the ambience for reasons, but since I did a takeout order I really didn't get to experience any internal decor or the mood lighting, in fact, I'm not even sure there was any. Strong recommend.

Fried Chicken Dinner Combos - 16 Pieces Rolls Slow-Baked BBQ Beans (Broccoli & Macaroni made at home)
    Chandra P.

My husband wanted chicken, and I wasn't in the mood to cook a full meal. I took a chance and ordered a 16 piece meal from Ezell's. I appreciate the promptness as it took about 15 minutes to complete the order. This location has a 6 person lobby limit, which is ideal considering restaurant size. The customer service was decent in person, better over the phone. We don't eat a lot of salty or fried foods, but my husband said the chicken was bland and wanted me to add seasoning to the chicken prior to warming it up. Keep in mind he is from Chicago, he compares ALL chicken to kHarold's chicken & waffles. My older son and his friends enjoyed their meal, and I appreciate the helping hand with dinner tonight.

I got an order of their pulled pork breakfast burrito, which I've never tried before. Traditionally, it comes w your choice of pancakes or toast/hashbrowns. They let me upgrade the regular buttermilk pancakes to their lemon blueberry ones. Ultimately, the total came out to around $27.50 after tax/tip (I "only" tipped $2 since I was picking up). Ok so here are my ratings: - service 5/5 - burrito 3.5/5 - pancakes 4/5 - price 3/5 The burrito was solid. I just wish their was more to it. Like maybe some veggies or spice or pico or anything lol. The pancakes were the best part of the meal. You really don't even need to add syrup since it comes w the lemon cream cheese frosting on top and in between each of the 3 pancakes. The combination of that lemon + blueberry was ono and that's coming from a guy who typically doesn't choose lemon style desserts.

The food is average, done okay, but nothing to write home about, typical McMenamins fare that you find at all the McMenamins locations. Average. Tasty but boring. Most of it was fine. The kids' food was better than average for kids' food. But the one item that deeply disappointed me was the Satriale's Italian Beef Dip sandwich I had. It's supposed to be shaved ribeye, Provolone, pickled peppers, grilled onions on a garlic-toasted roll with Black Rabbit Red wine jus. It was a hamburger patty broken up, along with the other stuff. The picked peppers were shortcut with Mama Lil's (one can recognize them), and while good, they just were not what I would expect in an Italian Beef Dip. Should be some roasted pepper and some house-picked peppers. I've had too many great Chicago Italian Beef Dip sandwiches over the years. Those (when done well) are a 10. This was maybe a 2 1/2 or a 3 at best. So, okay (3 stars) is begrudgingly given.

Here that is: Food is decent. The pork belly is some of the best I've tasted. The beef bulgogi is good. The brisket is tasty, but it arrives frozen and rolled, making it a little harder to cook. The sausage was tasty. The spicy pork belly is just pork belly with a squirt of the sweet-and-hot sauce from the banchan buffet--just make it yourself. This is one of the few places that still serves romaine lettuce leaves (on the banchan buffet), so you can do the old-fashioned KBBQ rolled in a lettuce leaf. The restaurant is comfortable and reasonably clean (though they've had a few health department dings). Service is understaffed, often slow, and indifferent. It's been this way for years. There was an older Korean woman who used to work here and was great, but she wasn't there the day we went. So, what happened to the four stars? We went here on Monday, which happened to be MLK Day, because our new usual place is closed every Monday. We went right near opening at 11:30 with four adults, a nine-year-old, and a five-year-old. We ordered the K1 for 4 adults and the 5-year-old. The other child only wanted gyoza, which we ordered (and found there are only two gyoza per order!!). The server seemed to agree with the menu (see photo of black background menu) that the K-1 was $24.99 per person since it was lunchtime on a Monday. Imagine our surprise at checkout to hear that it was $29.99 per person, plus $15 for the five-year-old, plus three orders of gyoza and a couple of plastic bottles of rice wine. Oh, and a forced 20% tip. NOT what we were led to expect. Not cool. And they refused to budge, only arguing when confronted with their dishonesty. We will NEVER return to this place. Stay away.

Holy hell. What is going on with this place?…read more This was my second and LAST visit. The service was PAINFULLY slow. I never complain at restaurants but I sure did today! Took forever to order. Then forever to order the next round. Forever to have our plate switched out. They brought us the wrong thing, took it back, brought the wrong thing again, tried to say it was actually the right thing afterall.... Brought us raw meat with no way to cook it, so we waited and waited and waited and waited until my husband finally got up to ask someone who was clearing a table. That person didn't understand English so couldn't help. We asked the server and she told us twice that someone else would do it. Waited some more. The raw meat had just been sitting there for so long (upwards of half an hour) that they took it away and brought us more for safety reasons - but half of the serving that we originally were given! I asked for water and the server said "someone will bring you water" even though the pitcher was right next to her! I asked if I could just do it myself, so she filled my glass but not my husband's and ran off before I could stop her. When asked how things were, I said "VERY FRUSTRATING".... But that is where it ended. They dropped off a bill but didn't tell us to pay up front so we waited some more. It literally took us 2.5 hours to get out of there and we only got ONE refill of meats (and the wrong ones at that). I feel like I just got punked! The floors are greasy and slippery. The bathroom is dirty. The buffet has mashed potatoes and pasta salad....huh? NO THANKS! After tip, two people, with no drinks or extras - $100!

But here we are, 2025 and with time to kill decided to give this neighborhood watering hole another go. First off, since we were there during the day it wasn't too busy which was kinda nice. Because it's kind of a small pub it would be horribly crowded, even with their outside seating on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Lotsa T.V. with sports and nice island-style tunes with a noise level where you can have a conversation w/o having to repeat yourself or yell. Service was good, mostly due to the time of day, light crowd, so we were able to sit where we wanted, given menus, ordered drinks. Our server was personable, made regular check ins and food time from order to service was perfect. Now what motivated me to write this review was mainly because of the food. Because honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. With the Island /Hawai'i thing being their theme, some of their menu that reflected that. So I decided I'd give some of my island favorites a try, of course with some lowered expectations. I mean I've eaten at some local island/Hawaiian places here in Western Washington run by islanders that were subpar and some cases bad. The meals I gauge would the loco moco and spam musubi. So at the Twisted Lime, that's what ordered. Wifey had a big ol' plate of their Nacho Mama. Her take, loved it. Perfect as not so much stuff on it to make the chips all soggy, go good amount of toppings, nice crisp chips and the guacamole, super tasty. My meal, I was pleasantly surprised. The musubi was excellent. That being a good SPAM to rice ratio, nice strip of nori and good flava. In case you wonder, most good musubi should have a piece of SPAM at least 1/2 thick, and rice 3x that. Place that cheap out give a sliver of SPAM and a butt-ton of rice. Examples of poorly made musubi: the ones they make at Town and Country Market in Mill Creek and Marination at T-Mobile. If you like 'em from those places, good on you. But if you ever had a well made, well proportioned one, you'll never go back. Examples of local perfect musubi: Sushi Spott so far has my number one spot, but Hawaiian Sun in Everett, and as of this review, Twisted Lime has damn good musubi. Now for their Loco Moco. First off, damn fine presentation, second off, "ONO GRINDZ". I wouldn't say broke da mout, but pretty damn close. Good proportions of rice, good amount of gravy with good flava, two beef patties, also with good flava and a nice egg over-easy. My only comments are, 1. For their loco moco price ($18), only one egg? I know that most loco mocos I've made or ordered, standard (especially in Hawai'i), two eggs brah! 2. If you wanna do the whole Aloha theme, Hawaiian mac is a standard/complementary side of any Hawaiian meal. Not something to be added to the price. Any plate lunch includes Hawaiian mac. Seriously, Google Search images. Kinda like burgers, fries should always be included, so bravo to the places that do that and shame on the ones that charge over $10.00 for a burger and don't include fries. 3. For a neighborhood bar, I'm surprised it isn't family friendly for a time. Example, the Savage Moose in Kenmore, sports bar, FF until 2100 hours. 4. No smoking or vaping in the outdoors seating? It's.....outdoors. It's not like you're out there for the view unless you enjoy the view of other businesses and a neighborhood street. But whatever. Bottom line, the food tasted good and didn't disappoint. Good solid service (can't speak to when it gets crazy busy). Star lost on the above comments, but otherwise I would definitely go there again. If anything I'm now curious of how their Kalua Pork is, comparatively speaking to what I know is good Kalua Pork.
