I had Dawa on my bookmarks for a long time ever since I saw videos about it and just the overall good reviews. We came in and saw that the place was pretty packed on a Thursday night but we were noticed quickly by a male employee and seated right away thankfully. Once we were seated, we were handed water and utensils as well as directions on how we can order as they have a small kiosk. We put in our order of galbi fried chicken, pork on the bone stew or gamjatang, and grilled pork belly. Once the order was entered, our waiter came back with rice, banchan, sauces and accompaniments for the pork belly, salad (think it comes with the grilled pork belly), pickled radish for the chicken and plates and bowls to share. It didn't take too long for food to come back but it didn't all come together which was odd but luckily the chicken was for sharing. The gamjatang was huge and pretty good, not as good as one of my favorite places in Federal Way but I will admit that they do give some huge pieces of meat and offer a one time refill of the soup. It could use more of a kick and more seasoning. The chicken as many others have mentioned was extremely well-fried, marinated and extremely huge. I do think they have the biggest Korean fried chicken pieces that I have ever seen in Washington. The meat was juicy, the outside was crunchy, and the sauce was heavenly. My boyfriend did say the grilled pork belly was some of the best he has ever had in his life, which is super high praise and I will admit that it is very good as well! They had an interesting playlist ranging from K-pop to regular pop (lots of Justin Bieber) and sometimes they would tone it down a bit then start blasting it. The two male servers working that day (7/16/26) were fantastic about checking in at perfect times, were courteous and refilled our waters. We never had to use to kiosk to call them once which I appreciated very much. My boyfriend and I look forward to coming back and definitely want to give a heads up that their portions are huge so come hungry!

Seems like more of a social hangout spot for late night eating and or drinking. If you want a nice quiet dinner, this isn't the spot. My group and I ordered the Korean fried chicken and the kimchi pancake to start. The appetizers didn't take that long to come out. Everything came out hot and fresh. The chicken was standard fried chicken size and came with 10 pieces. It came with 2 pieces of drumsticks and the rest were chicken thighs. The kimchi pancake was super crispy. We also ordered the beef tofu soup and the chicken bulgogi entree. The tofu soup was a lot - it did not come with an egg unlike other spots. The chicken entree was flavorful overall.

We got the Creamy Onion and Sweet & Spicy Fried Chicken, which I thought was just ok. The chicken is a bit dry and the fry doesn't stay crispy at all. The Creamy Onion sauce is surprisingly very tasty so it made the chicken a lot better- I would come here just for this. On the other hand, I could pass on the Sweet & Spicy sauce because it was on the blander side. We also got the Rose Tteokkbokki which I really enjoyed! It's flavorful, creamy, and overall well balanced. I just wish it came with more sauce. We got surprised by a Jinro mascot and team in the middle of our meal- they were taking shots of a new lemon flavored soju with every table. It was so much fun and I even got a free t-shirt. Totally unexpected but loved it haha! While this isn't my favorite spot for Korean fried chicken, I do see myself coming here again for specific things.

I opted for a bulgogi beef bowl w/everything except the sweet mashed potatoes & got to choose between 5 or 6 sauces. I went with a sweet and spicy variation. Everything was really good, every bite was a nice combination of savory sweet and spicy & had good textured bites throughout. The bowl will cost you $15.50 before tax & doesn't come with a drink so be prepared to spend $20/person for a decent meal. However, the portion you get is really two servings so I think it's worth it.

But I took in consideration the folks ahead of me and the fact that the food I received was just out of the fryer hot, so definitely cooked to order, no heat lamps. Definitely give yourself more time if you are hoping to eat here before catching a movie at the AMC. Anyhoo, I discovered this place last year, and since then whenever we were in the area (mostly for movies since I really don't do the mall thing) this has been my go to when I get the hunger. That first time I ordered a chicken sammy since I was curious how it would compare to Popeye's. Now, while the Popeye's chicken sammy has been my favorite since forever and I think the best of all fast food, my first Seoul Bowl chicken sammy blew it out of the water. That's saying a lot because I love Popeye's chicken sammy (still do). But the Seoul Bowl sammy was so good! CRISPY, JUICY chicken,Korean sauce and slaw, nice warm soft bun, the flavors! Yeah, mos def took the number 1 spot on my chicken sammy list. The only thing that would've put a sammy like that over the top for me is if they used dark meat, but few if any places do that. It's all about the white breast meat. I digress. Another positive, the ordering process using the touch menus. Very easy, intuitive and able to customize. So it was nice that my son, who doesn't like veggie's or the spicy, can enjoy the sammy as well w/o the stuff I think help make it so good. Service was nice, polite and spot on with the orders as far as food court workers go. As opposed to the kids working behind the counter who always look like they would rather be somewhere else, finger blasting their phones and the phrase "customer service" isn't in their job description. Check out the kids at Auntie Anne's for example. Again, I digress. As for the atmosphere and area, well, it's the mall food court, but I can say they kept their area clean, stocked and entertained with vid screens of Korean K-pop and what not. So definitely relevant. Unlike going to a Japanese restaurant once and on the TV was WWE wrestling? Digressing again....As for other food, I can only speak to what my son and wife had, which were wings and Korean bowl. I tried both and I can honestly say, same goodness. The Korean fried chicken wings were nice, CRISPY, JUICY and FLAVORFUL. I would say definitely better than most places that claim to specialize in wings, say Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Dome Seattle, I've even been to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY-Home of the original Buffalo Wings, and I would say the wings I had at Seoul Bowl are just as good...if not a better. The Korean bowl had good presentation with lots of flavor and was filling. Not just a mound of rice and strategically placed toppings to make it look like it's covered, but a nice ratio of rice to toppings to make it a meal. If I wasn't stuck on the chicken sammy I'd eat that. Oh! and we've also had the Bulgogi Kimchi cheese fries! Now that was definitely something different, and so very, very good. Just have to eat it fast unless you like soggy fries. Made to share, so if you order a sammy, don't get the meal (meal comes w/fries), just the sammy. Otherwise it might be too much food. But is there such a thing? We'll have to give the other locations a try to see if it's consistent. But for now, the Alderwood location is our go to!

We were there a bit later, just before 8 p.m. on a Monday, and easily got a table right away. I didn't want too much food - at my age I've learned my eyes and stomach are rarely on the same page - but I definitely wanted some brisket...as an amateur smoker I appreciate how much work goes into beef brisket so always try it when I see it on a menu. So I went with the Happy Hour Caesar Salad & Brisket. For $8.50 it was a great value. The fat of the brisket was rendered PERFECTLY. My wife wanted the baked potato but allegedly someone came earlier and bought TWELVE and cleaned them out. Disappointing! But the two street tacos she got off the Happy Hour menu were tasty. My teenager decided to lean in and get the brisket entree. Fries and Mac & cheese as the sides with cornbread. He added some of his brisket to the Mac & cheese and loved it. Fries were crispy (double fried? Or battered?) but didn't get finished - too much food! I had a couple of beers that were good. The tap listing was available on a screen. Service was well-above average. Very friendly. I can imagine this place getting busy during peak hours but it's small enough that they likely can keep up. I doubt we'll be back. We are from out of town and while we come to the Seattle area often I like to try new places whenever possible. But we were very happy with how tonight went. 4.5/5.0 but it won't let me do a halfstar. Give it a try. This isn't a chain restaurant! We were happy to support this one.

Parking lot was packed- but there was one high-top table when we walked in. We grabbed it. Loud bar/pub atmosphere- I'm sure sporting events are fun here. Big bar on one side and 'family' seating on the other with warnings for the under 21's to not cross the border. I got the half rack of ribs and my partner got the pulled chicken sandwich. Also beers. The food arrived fast: nice thing about bbq is that it has to be already prepared so they just have to plate it. The half rack was huge. 6 big ribs, Cesar salad and fries were my sides. So much food. Glad I got the salad. I didn't try the pulled chicken but she got the Mac and cheese as a side and that was really good. Haven't had decent restaurant Mac and cheese in a while. I'd like to know what they make in-house here. The fries felt bought-in...the salad was...good but...uniform? Like maybe out of a bag? I'm prepared to be wrong about that. The barbecue was good. The ' spicy' sauce was sweet and not vey spicy and the 'sweet' sauce was kind of boring: bbq sauces need work. Add a mustard based sauce? All in all we loved it and will definitely go back. $75 all in with tip for two people.

Not always their fault but it was a vibe. The food quality was mediocre really nothing to be excited about. With that being said, the arcade is excellent. Cool games, good variety. A good time and the pricing was great; they actually price the play card into your entree if you like so you can play after you eat which is exactly what we did. There are probably 120 games in there and most are of excellent quality and well maintained. My son had fun, but did mention the lack of any kind of "play place" which would totally fit the vibe and allow parents to play games and drink while the little ones play. Overall, I would say this place is a solid 3.5/5. The food could be improved for sure and the overall presentation outside of "here's some booze and arcade games, go have some fun" is kind of lacking. Maybe I'm just old. Or maybe Im becoming some kind of arcade snob. Hopefully the former.
