I don't think there is ANYTHING negative to say about this location! The food? Amazing The service? Amazing The price? Very fair. I've tried quite a few of their sammiches and have never been disappointed. Tuna, Italian, and any of the others have always been perfect. Get the heat with their hot peppers added...always a perfect addition for us who like heat. Mac and Cheese...just as good. Chili brought me back to Hawaii with Zippy's...which is a huge compliment with me. Want a pickle? They got those too...and they quarter them. Cookies? Sure...they're great too! Huge shout out to Samantha who was friendly on the phone regarding a mistake I had made...so glad I have this location nearby. Paid for a "BIG SANDWICH" which turned out to be a regular 12/13 inch sub that I was charged $24 for on Grubhub. Not only was the base price for this sandwich $21 but I had to pay $4.25 for the addition of cheese. This already is a bit extreme, however if it is there I'm not complaining. My issue is the fact that I paid the $4.25 just to add cheese to my Grubhub sandwich and they still did not add the cheese. Stealing money from your customers is not cute, and these sandwiches are not worth $24 with no cheese. Food service is draining and I get that, but if you're going to overcharge your customers at least make sure you are properly preparing the meal. read more

I grew up in Chicago and used to go to the original Potbelly when there was only 1 location. Loved it back then. It's expanded nationally and went public since. The quality and service has gone downhill, especially at the Bothell location. Ordered between lunch and dinner on their app, their eta was 15 min out. Took them over 30 min with only 1 customer in the place. Couple this with rude, disgruntled employees makes me kinda done with this place. Paying $13-20 a sandwich with terrible service is just not worth it. read more

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I haven't ordered from Potbellys since December 2023. I gave up on them getting my order right. So after a year i thought i'd try again. I add extras to my sandwiches, but ask for lettuce, tomatoes and onions on the side so they dont wilt. And i always ALWAYS add DO NOT CUT. They cut the sandwiches in half, i cut em in quarters. So one BIG sandwich for me, is 4 meals. After placing my order, i called to confirm that i did not want my sandwiches cut. The young lady places me on whole, goes to check and low and behold, the sandwiches were cut. She said I could have those 2 sandwiches and will have them remade, ask they not be cut...and guess what..THEY WERE CUT!! I ordered the large apple walnut salad. Its a big salad..i get 3 meals out if that salad, cause I will eat 1/4 of a sandwich and some of the salad. I received a SMALL salad, in a large bowl. It was so unappetizing, I THREW IT AWAY! My salad looked like left over soggy wilted lettuce, the chicken was hard!! It was horrible! And i purchased 4 cookies: 2 sugar, 2 brownie: THEY WERENT EVEN IN THE BAG!!!!! I really enjoy the Potbelly sandwiches. I have been to many Potbelly shops; the options are more or less the same. What differs in the customer service and experience. This Potbellu shop at The Villas @ Beardslee is at a convenient location. Large spacious and well maintained shop. Ordered couple of sandwiches - grilled chicken cheddar & veggie melt and Vanilla shake. Place was not busy at all. The lady at work were attentive to the choices I made for the sandwiches; that reflected too. as usual very delicious sandwiches. The lady at the counter was not so friendly; she was rushing through the checkout. At first I forgot to scan my rewards code. When I requested for that she was not very pleased about it, did that nevertheless. Very happy about the food. read more

Meh. Not the greatest sandwich shop. Potbelly is like a glorified subway. It's a cross between. Firehouse subs and subway. All their subs are toasted even their kids PBJ. Honestly don't waste your time going here if you're looking for a great sub. The kids turkey sub was great and even the PBJ, the meatball sub was alright, and the chicken club reminded me of the chicken breast sandwich from subway. read more

This has to be the worst run restaurant I've ever been to. The food is good, I enjoy the sandwich I get regularly, but... if this place gets a catering order, they'll just stop taking dine in customers. Today after waiting for 10 minutes, they just decided, sorry, can't take your order. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. They're always understaffed and the whole system is clearly bottlenecked with Door Dash and catering just kills the whole thing. Hate to say it because I like the food, but it's just not worth your time until whoever runs this place (clearly no manager on site) stops cheaping out and gets some real staff in there. Also: If you do place a Door Dash order and they arbitrarily decide "we're not taking orders anymore" then good luck getting a refund. read more

Y'all know I love Potbelly. They are famous for tapping up their to orders so normally you wouldn't see if your order was correct until you got home. Trust I have learned to open the bag and review my order before leaving. Glad I did. Take a look at the picture below and tell me if that looks like a BLTA with extra avocado? When I politely expressed my concern that the sandwich was not made correctly. I was rudely nothing was wrong with the sandwich. I was beyond Shocked by this response. She backtracked and said the only thing missing was the avocado. I asked her to remake my sandwich which she did and nastily handed back to me. I get home and proceed to fix my sandwich that she remade and found myself choking on pepper. I definitely she why this location has THREE stars. I will never return and I can assure you ugly behavior gets no rewards. My last parting advice save your money for the store and buy all the ingredients you need and make your own sandwiches at home. read more

At an average of $12 the sandwiches were unacceptable and feedback from my customers for the Lunch & Learn were incredibly negative. $167 order which I could've made for a 3rd the price at my local grocery store is unacceptable. I can't say it's my favorite sandwich shop, but it does hit some needs. I enjoyed all the meat in The Wreck sandwich, although the meatball sub was less than generous with both its meatballs and its sauce. The customization options are average and the bread choice is limited. I would still take it over Subway or Jersey Mikes, but I'm going to continue to go to Quiznos for my Italian sub and keep praying we get a Togos nearby for everything else. For now, it'll do. Moved here from MN where I ate at Potbelly a lot. I've been to this Bothell location a few times and it's been ok but today I had lunch and got the "Baked fresh daily " bag of cookies. I used to get these in MN for my daughter and they were outstanding but these were not baked anywhere close to today. I had to bite down hard to break the cookie and it basically crumbled. Clearly was old and dried out. Waste of money and turned me off on Potbelly in this area. My few meals here were just so so, although my sandwich today was good. Stopped by this Potbelly after a hike - even though we were almost home, we were starving after exerting all that energy, so we needed a quick bite! Potbelly is doing a good job adhering to COVID-19 regulations. There is some dine-in seating available, but not much. Everybody was doing a good job of social distancing. There is a mobile order pickup option. You order on your phone/laptop, and then they place your order in a numbered cubby. Saw a few people walk in, grab their order, and walk right out. Pretty cool setup if you're looking to spend very minimal time inside. I went with the Italian. Assorted meats and cheeses, but I added pepperjack to it along with mustard, mayo, pickles, and hot peppers (highly recommend, my mouth is literally watering writing this). The sandwich was good! The hot peppers definitely round this out and make it a TRUE Italian. I just wish they stuffed the sandwiches a little more. Other than that, it's a pretty solid option if you're in the mood for a sammy. P.S. Let it be known that I swore up and down I wouldn't support Potbelly again after they accepted a loan package meant for small businesses when COVID started... They returned the loan and my dad paid, so I'm counting this as a one-off ;) read more

We wanted to get a quick and easy lunch and Potbelly came up on our Yelp results. I never tried it but my husband had it when he worked in Seattle. He was so surprised that I had never tried it, he said we had to go there. He told me that I just have to try it. So off we went to Potbelly so I could give it a go. We went to the location in Beardslee and there was plenty of parking so the location is pretty convenient if you are in the Bothell area. When we walked in, because of COVID we wore masks and they had stickers on the ground on where to stand to keep distance between other people. We did have a late lunch so the shop was empty. I ordered the Original Italian, my husband got a Biggie "The Wreck" and it was so good. They toast the bread and the meat through an oven that reminds me of Quiznos. I LOVE when they toast the bread like that. Its SO good! It was also nice that you could choose your own toppings. We took it home and the sandwich held up pretty well. This is our first time trying Pot Belly. I accept that eating a hot sub 20 minutes after it is made is less than ideal but with COVID that has become the new norm. I had the meatball and my son had The Wreck. We were both happy with the sandwich. It was a good size. The bread was probably one of the better breads out there. Better than Jimmy John's and definitely better than Subway. The thing that took away a star was the Mac & cheese. My son and I are Mac& Cheese connoisseurs so we always try it anytime a restaurant offers it. The problem we had was it was simply very runny. If it were thicker, the cheese would carry more flavor. I ordered curbside pickup. After I checked in, my sub was delivered to my car in just a few minutes. The only thing is, the parking lot isn't good. It's small for the amount of businesses and apartments there are. So it was hard to get a spot near the restaurant. My sub was really good. I had the meatball sub and it was nice and warm. There were plenty of meatballs on it. I'll probably come back. I would go inside instead of doing curbside pickup so I wouldn't have to worry about getting a close parking spot. read more

I am a HUGE fan of Potbelly's. My fiance and I first bonded over our obsession over Potbelly's. Coming from the East Coast (Virginia), we grew up with Potbelly's and loved it. I was hyped to find out they still had Potbelly's out here when I moved. And luckily they have one so close to my workplace! I come here pretty often, just because we love their sandwiches. This particular location can be pretty slow, and whenever I place an order ahead of time, I find that they usually forget certain ingredients from my order. The employees do try hard and have always been pretty friendly, they def. need more help though. But as with any Potbelly's, the food is great. I always get the turkey and swiss on thin wheat bread. The mustard is delicious here, it's just a staple of a Potbelly's sandwiches. Their cookies are really good, just the perfect texture. And the shakes/smoothies are filling and just amazing. Parking here can be a little annoying, there is a 90 minute limit for each spot. read more

After reading so many reviews from customers whose orders were wrong, I went anyway. I figured, how hard could it be? I usually ask for a lot of stuff to be left off, not added, soooo.... Welp, I was egregiously naïve. I ordered A Wreck, regular size on white. Me: light mustard, onions, Italian seasoning. Her: that's it? Me: yep, that's it, just those 3 things, and I said everything again because I wasn't sure she could hear me. She told me to move along to the register and I know I saw her shake the Italian seasoning over something that might have been mine. Additionally I got a cup of pot pie soup and added chips and soda for a regular combo. Noon yesterday, not too busy just yet and I got it to go. When I paid, I declined a receipt, not sure if that was a mistake. I ate the soup in my car and headed home, nibbling on chips along the way and had a virtual meeting as soon as got home (20-25 minutes away). I kept myself on mute, unwrapped my sandwich and took a bite.... zero mustard, much less "light". Zero onions. How th does that even happen? I might give them another try, but only if I feel the energy to watch them like a hawk and resist them "encouraging" me to move along before I check their work. In the meantime, Tubs Gourmet Subs is the best around and I should not have fooled with greatness. Order also was missing the Mac and cheese. We drive back, they said they refunded us. Now 3 weeks later had to directly contact my bank as no refund ever was made for the sandwich or Mac. So double and triple check them! Especially if you are taking a to go order and live more than a couple of minutes away. I just saw Potbelly high on a list of classic Italian subs, so I stopped by to try it out. I ordered mine with all of the regular (free) toppings, including hot peppers and added some avocado. I made the mistake of eating in my car, as I hadn't accounted for the fresh, toasted roll, so I had a bit of crumbs to contend with. But it was a true labour of love, as the bread was delightfully chewy and crunchy, and the sub was PACKED with flavour. Easy to see how their sub came out high on the list, as it's very high on mine too. It was quite busy, even at a full hour past the heat of the lunch rush, but the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Potbelly is a well-run sandwich factory (at least The Bothell, WA shop), with a broad menu of creative sammys loaded with fresh, delicious ingredients. I'm looking forward to trying out some other sandwich varietals here. read more

Finally! A sandwich shop that is worth frequenting. Even if it is a chain. Top quality ingredients, masterfully mixed to create flavor bombs in your mouth. My sandwich was A Wreck. No, really. That's the name of the sandwich. But it wasn't a wreck. While I admit it wasn't the most visually beautiful sandwich, the dance it evoked in my taste buds was a thing of pure beauty. I've eaten here a couple time before, and I think this is a much better sandwich shop than any of the others in this business. This particular location is well maintained, clean, large, and welcoming. It's a fun location and a comfortable place to grab a quick and tasty bite to eat. I just can't bring myself to give any sandwich shop five stars, so four stars it is. But in the world of sandwich shops, this piggy is ruler! read more
