Enjoying a bit of French Dip!

This place was a new adventure for us and we went here for my wife's bday dinner. They only had 2 people working the floor and bar, not sure the kitchen but that did cause a bit of strain on the workers... they were doing their best. The flatbread and sandwiches were delicious and the fries were pretty good too.

Chicken burger

My friends and I really liked our late lunch here. We came in on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 and it wasn't busy. We sat ourselves in a booth and were quickly helped by a waitress. It seemed really quiet with no one else really there, curious to see if it is busier/livelier other times of the day. Two of us ordered salmon burger and my other friend got the chicken burger. The salmon burger would have been really good except the actual salmon something tasted off and we weren't sure if it was fresh. The chicken burger was great though! We all thought the fries were delicious. I would come back and try something else next time.

Margaritas

We had the best experience! The service was amazing. The bartender and owner continued to make sure we were taken care of and happy. The margaritas were great. They were fresh and not too sweet. We can't wait to go back!

Gambas Al ajillio- $26 for shrimp in a cup of oil. Not good
Megan G.

The interior is very nice. Clean and stylish euro pub decor. Service was good. Food was a major bust. Their menu and website are deceiving, they boast generous portions but that is not the case. I was very disappointed with the gambas al ajillio. The shrimp were decent(not over cooked) but it was almost $26 for a couple shrimp in a bowl of oil that was not appetizing for dipping plus a little piece of focaccia. Commonwealth curry with chicken was better and at least a more satisfying meal. Prices are high, but in my experience it wasn't worth it. Exterior signage is on the smaller side and can be hard to spot from the street.

First of all our server, Solana, was soooo great. She was friendly, knew the menu well, and was able to answer all of our questions. Lots of beer to choose from, all from Bellevue Brewing (same owner). You can do a flight and my husband favorite was the Vicious Mockery, so after his flight he got a pint of that. They have a full bar, and are working on the cocktail menu. Cider and wine is also available. They are still in their soft opening. As for food, the menu is unique. We opted for the Highlander Burger and the Side Chick salad. But next time I plan to try one of their interesting skillet dishes. Husband reports that the burger was fantastic, and the fresh made focaccia made it amazing! My salad was delicious. The chipotle ranch dressing took it next level. I loved all the protein included, egg, chickpea, and shrimp. The tortilla strips added nice texture. Will probably be my go to dish going forward. To cap off the meal my husband ordered the skillet bread pudding. I'm GF but wish I could have tasted it! It smells delicious:) husband's review....yummmm, maybe just a little more sauce We can walk here so on our way to being regulars...

Some Pig Focizza

Pleasantly surprised by this new neighbourhood restaurant! Loved the British pub look and the food was delicious. Definitely will be going back!

I love this place. My family and I tried it for the first time yesterday and were blown away. For context, we have a newborn and toddler, going out to eat can be a battle sometimes. The food was amazing!! a lot of restaurants claim to be family, friendly, but really do not have families in mind when they design the restaurant. This place was not like that. They have gender neutral bathrooms with a changing pad in the bathroom. They had stepstool in the bathroom for kids to wash their hands. My husband's chicken sandwich was huge and my burger was delicious. The staff told me they make the bread in house daily. My toddlers mac & cheese came with a side of fries which was great because I did not want to share. I would come back here again and I hope they stay in Bothell for a long time.

Dinner was fried chicken accompanied by a house salad, with some fried pickle chips to nibble on. All of it was well prepared, the chicken was clearly brined and very tender. You could have a whole conversation about how their kitchen is killing it, and that's not even what stands out the most. In long I've driven by this place 100+ times on my way to fancy wine and music here and there around town. I've always noticed that there was activity in this lot, and always heard good things about the Cut Shop, but it wasn't until yesterday that I finally realized that they're one and the same. We rolled up and found accessible parking places right out front. Dig that. They were playing the original Point Break through the speakers on the outside of the building. That tipped me off right away that the people running this place might be able to keep up with anybody when it comes to high-quality goofing off. There are funny bumper stickers and signs here and there out front. Inside, you immediately know that you're safely in the hands of people who know how to have fun frittering away their time. Colorful string lights, disco ball, crazy movie, sports, and other memorabilia. Some highboys, some barstools, lots of picnic tables, a couple big decks outside with firepits. It definitely feels like a cool fun house party in somebody's basement. The regulars are friendly and so is the staff. We checked out a bunch of bar snacks, loved them all, and wished we had room to try sandwiches and other stuff, too. The food here isn't snooty at all, but it's very good. They make most things from scratch, and have their own smoker outside. It's pub grub, but the menu's huge and very well-executed. We tried 3 rounds of cocktails (celebrating some good news yesterday), and they were all excellent. All 3 bartenders we talked to were friendly and super skilled, though a couple were a little quiet at first. They took awesome care of us all afternoon. We'll be back soon, though probably not during peak hours. Rumor has it there's a line out the door pretty regularly.

Even still the staff are very nice and even when it's busy they move about trying to manage everyone at the bar which is nice where I've been to my share of drinking holes where they're shuffling along at whatever pace they feel like. The beer list changes, but they have an extensive list to my satisfaction of lagers, IPA's, stouts and more. I appreciate that they have different glasses depending on your beer choice to suit it. It's a nice touch. We got Takeout pizza on the latest visit and went with the Detroit style base. There are many options to choose from but we got half - "Marketplace Sotheby's" which includes jalapenos, bacon, pepperoni and pineapple if you want. And half "Bo Knows" which has mozzarella, basil, oregano and more. I loved the pizza, it's not the best pizza I've had for sure or even the best Detroit style but, it's definitely good. Pizza Coop is awesome place all around, they've got games in the back for kids, table seating, counter seating with TVs for games and great service. Definitely recommend.

The vibe is great, lively, casual, and very family-friendly (and yes, lots of kids, which added to the energy). Service was immediate the moment we walked in, which was impressive given how busy it was. One thing I really appreciate is the big beer board, makes choosing a drink quick and easy, especially when you're already relaxed from wine tasting. We came back specifically for the Big Dumper pizza, which we loved on a previous visit, and it absolutely held up. The crust is excellent, the toppings are generous, and everything just works together. This time we also added a dinner salad with blue cheese, which was surprisingly good--fresh, well-balanced, and a nice complement to the pizza. The atmosphere was buzzing, the place was packed, and the servers were clearly hustling to keep up with the demand. Even with the crowd, everything ran smoothly. A fun, dependable spot with great pizza, good drinks, and an energetic neighborhood feel. Definitely a go-to when you're in Woodinville.

The menu changes seasonally, and they host special events once or twice a month with unique fixed food and drink pairings-so there's always something new to try (and the events are a blast). A huge part of what keeps us coming back is the staff. The servers are friendly and attentive (and a lot of fun to chat with if it gets slow). And if you sit at the bar (highly recommend!), Cameron and Michael take it to another level. They're both talented, passionate and a lot of fun. They're always happy to make something off-menu or surprise us with bartender's choice. They've definitely turned us into cocktail snobs lol. And the food absolutely holds its own. We originally came for the cocktails on another bartender's recommendation, but we were blown away by how good everything has been. The ribeye is easily as good (or better than) steaks I've paid twice as much for elsewhere. The burger and fries are among the best around-and these days, one of the best deals anywhere if you go during happy hour. Similar can be said for everything else on the menu; we've had every appetizer, entree and side dish at least twice :P And since we're usually posted up at the bar, when there's a lull we sometimes get to chat w/ the kitchen, and it's clear they take real pride in what they do. It's just an awesome place with awesome people! :)
