[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love love love Kro Bar, everything from their aesthetic to their ridiculously good drinks, everything is on point![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I came in to celebrate my friends engagement and of course I had to have my drink the Aqua Ardens Vol. 16, ugh its so so good I cannot recommend it enough. I also had the What We Found in the Jungle... and... YES! For food I had the Steak Frites and I'm so sorry to say that it just wasn't good, for the price point and just how well they do everything else, I expected better, the cut just didn't do it for me and they use different fries for this and it wasn't nearly as good as their happy hour fries, add to the fact that the sauce was miniscule. Guys if you can't slather your Frites then we have a problem. I will say though there was so many new items on there that I would love to try, so one dish is not going to stop me from coming and again our servers were awesome. Oh and just a reminder their happy hour is Tue to Thur and all day Sunday so make it count!

Really Good! It was our first time and didn't even know there was a speakeasy in Bothell. Love the old school vibe with the crow(Kro) theme. The service was great they were able to seat us without reservations, but probably best if you make one. They were very attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the drinks and food. We ordered a good mix of appetizers the entree and the dessert all delicious. We will be back.

Wine ok. Beer meh. Food, ok. Service, meh. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere, meh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The chicken kaarage was nice but service slow and a little bit of attitude made it off-putting, a bit. It was a bit on the pricey side, so the three of us ended up with only appies, and forgone dinner completely. Sad. Really could be better.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is swanky and cool a dimly lit place but the ambiance is cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A little expensive but service was good and the food was interesting but good. Lots of cool drinks and interesting things to eat. I would do this place again with a date.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Hidden little gem in downtown Bothell! It gives spooky but sexy vibes so perfect for a date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only ordered their happy hour fries with the curry seasoning and it was pretty good. The fries are similar to McDonald's and crispy! For $6 it was super tasty and filling. Our server was very attentive and communicative. He even told us when he was going on his 10 and asked if we needed anything before hand. He gave us the run down on the menu as well which was nice.

Party of 4 for my SIL bday and it was absolute gas! The lychee 75 was tequila based and straight fire. The green goddess salad was mid, though the brussel sprouts can grace my mouth any day that ends in "y". The pork chop and broccolini is from another world and we are blessed to be able to order it here. Come here on a Wed or Sag and pray to the gods you get Pastry Chef Kyle as a server. End your meal with the cookie and you'll be in heaven.

Kro Bar was absolutely incredible! We went as a group of six and called about a week ahead to make a reservation. They were able to reserve the bar seating area for us, which was perfect. Our bartender, Cameron, was fantastic--cracking jokes all night and happily crafting surprise cocktails for anyone who wasn't sure what to order, which we loved. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every drink was fabulous, and the ambience was just as great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The light bites were also excellent; we tried the Kennebec Shoestring Fries and the Pike Place Nut Trio. We'll absolutely be back for dinner and to explore more of their drink menu soon!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Visited here on a Friday night, it's a smaller space and highly recommended reservations, or it may be up to a 2hr wait for walk-in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great restaurant with a dark, macabre vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a very creative cocktail menu, I had the Silent Cry which was very tasty. The Burrata appetizer was unique and yummy balance of flavors, and the Desert Rose Brussels Sprouts were superb! I highly recommend this place for a date night or meeting friends. Even though every table was occupied, the service was perfectly attentive.

Went to get some drinks and apps, and was very pleased! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small, almost, hole in the wall place, with dark lighting and warm lights.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very nice and was very helpful in explaining everything! She helped me pick out a drink which came in this super cool glass and was delicious. We also got the Burrata and the Winter Bread service as our appetizers. They were both very yummy, the burrata I could've licked the plate clean. I do wish the sizes were a bit larger, or we could've gotten more bread/crostini so there was enough for the amount of spreads. Other than that, everything was amazing, I would definitely go back to try some entrees and even desserts!

Absolutely a fantastic bar experience. Everyone that served/waited on us was friendly and attentive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great vibes and great drinks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The best bartender at Krö bar. We call him the krö bae.

10/10! No notes! Michael has once again exceeded expectations. I would argue he is one of the most hospitable, knowledgeable bartenders in the greater Seattle area. His attention to detail made my girlfriend and I's experience over the top! The duck confit nachos, gem green goddess salad and chicken karaage he recommended were out of this world and just enough food for us to be satiated! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was also just incredible, we sat at the bar to enjoy a nice conversation with Michael in between him making drinks, but they also have intimate booths for those looking for a nice private date night space[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Again, we come a year later for a little date night thinking it's been a few months. I learned that for me personally, coming here for drinks only is not worth it. I love their food more than anything. However, dessert not included. This was the third attempt to try their dessert and im done...no more. Despite the beautiful presentation and great ingredients and individually things tasting good, the dessert lacks cohesion. Things just don't go well together and do not compliment each other. The citrus tart with Italian Swiss meringue served with ginger ice cream: The tart shell was a bit too tough but tasty, the curd was tart and delicious but too liquid, the Swiss meringue is delicious and I guess went well with the tartness of the curd. And then there's the ginger ice cream... I don't get it. To be fair I don't think I like ginger flavored ice cream on its own. But I thought maybe it compliments the tart and tried a spoon together. IT DOESN'T! At least not for me. Anyway! Drinks are probably awesome for alcohol lovers. The presentation is superb! The bartender captivates his audience for sure. But I hate the taste of everything I tried here. My husband also did not like his turtle demon. I tried the aqua ardens, which I ordered purely for the bubble effect. Bartender tried to make it sweet for me but I should have replaced Hennessy with vodka. Again, that's a "me" problem... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun place! Great atmosphere and service. I think this is a lovely place to come for a date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Martinez
    Peter L.

Kro Bar is a great addition to Bothell! It's a small, intimate and eclectic place that has some of the best cocktails in the area as well as great food. The space is small and narrow, so it's for parties of 4 or fewer. The cocktail menu is divided into a classics section as well as their own. I would definitely go for their take on a Manhattan or Old Fashioned. They can also make any cocktail to order, and i had a really solid Martinez. We started off with the coppa and a brie cheese like cheese which was well done. Our table ordered duck, salmon and pork, and each protein was done really well. I really enjoyed my duck and note that sies are extra but also worth it. Service was great throughout the evening and this is one of those places which I would love in my neighborhood!

Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.
