Love this 2nd story bar that overlooks the lagoon pool! It's a long thin bar and each end has a fun more private room. The staff are always attentive and we love the selection of Tiki drinks and Asian Fusion food here. It's spendy but McMenamin's has upped their game with food. Got the happy hour food, the poke nachos, sliders and sweet potato fries. The only downside was the poke had tortilla chips instead on my expectation of wonton chips.

On an overcast and dreary day, Nui Nui transported me back to a tropical oasis. TLDR: poke bowl and Mai Tai was an exceptional combo. This property was a new experience to me, though I've heard of friends speaking highly of McMenamins throughout the years. Now I had a wedding to catch in the mountains, so time wasn't really on my side. However, the staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. When you walk in here, you're immediately on island time. The low lit bar and restaurant was built intentionally with little details creating a classic Polynesian experience. If I'm at a tiki bar, it's pretty difficult for me to not order a Mai Tai. The classic cocktail is the measure of a great tiki bar. Served in a traditional mug, I found the drink to be balanced and nuanced. Order one, hell order two! Food wise, I remember at the time being at a standstill. It all sounded good! They didn't have what I originally ordered, so I pivoted to the poke bowl. This bowl was amazing! Fresh fish, fresh toppings, and surprisingly filling. If you like tiki bars, Nui Nui is a must!

Such a fun spot to try out! It's the ultimate tiki bar experience and reminded me of Disneyland's Enchanted Tiki Room minus the animals :P my family got seated right before happy hour ended on a weekday and we got seated right away! Got some drink and app orders in before HH ended thankfully. All day happy hour drinks on Tuesdays for healthcare workers too! I got a mai tai and my husband for their moscow mule, drinks were tasty and came in fun tiki themed cups! For apps, we got their firecracker shrimp sliders and ahi poke. I'd definitely get the firecracker shrimp sliders again! Ahi poke was a pretty small portion. My mom and I split the Goonies burger and it sounded like it was going to be pretty tasty but I sadly wasn't super impressed. Burger was under seasoned and was pretty small for what they charge. Ample parking! The building is on the right when you enter the parking lot, on the top floor of the pool building.

I'm a big fan of tiki bars, they just make me smile. This one sits on top of an indoor pool complex, and is decorated as only the McMenamin's chain can ;-). The food is always great, and the service is always spot on, but the drinks are always fantastic and extremely tiki. This is a great date spot in Bothell and won't break the bank. Come in for a great experience and enjoy the atmosphere.

Fun hidden Tiki Bar inside of Anderson School above the Northshore Lagoon swimming pool. A bit of a challenge to find but worth the effort. The bar is long and narrow to fit the space but it is chock full of some pretty cool tiki items. We ordered some Cauliflower bites and sweet potato fries to go along with our drinks. I had the McMenamins Lager which is pretty easy drinking. The bartender was not very engaging but we didn't let it bother us. We loved the food here and it came to us pretty quickly. The decor is done so well with plenty to look at and lots of hidden nooks and crannies around for a variety of seating options. Definitely a good place to hide for a drink and you won't be found! I recommend going here as the vibe is pretty cool and the food and drink are above par.

Nui Nui is probably one of my favorite Mcmenamine's restaurant/bar. It's at Anderson school and on the second floor of the pool. They have a great list of tiki drinks and the food options are unique yet tasty. Highly recommend checking it out!

If you're a fan of tropical style tiki drinks, this is the spot for you. My wife and I are tiki fans, and we came here after flying in from out of town and were super impressed! The drinks were all very well balanced. The food was all exceptionally well flavored, filling, comforting, and all around delicious. And our server Bailey was great in giving us recommendations, making sure we had everything we wanted, and keeping the meal and drinks coming at a good pace. We will be back on our next visit to town!

Food & drink: (4/5) We got the Cajun tots to share with a side of ranch, which I think they make in-house. The tots were just the right amount of crunch and savory-ness. Exactly what I needed. To drink, I got the triPPPy cider and I really enjoyed it! The fruity notes aren't as strong in this one compared to other ciders I've had but it was still great. Finished it all. Service: (4/5) Super friendly. Just wish our food came a little faster. There weren't many people sitting in and our tator tots took maybe 30 mins. Other notes: Not exactly sure how the parking situation is still since we got there at 10:30pm in the pitch dark. We ended up at the parking lot next door and wandered over until we found it. A little confusing but I'm sure there's a better way to get here.

It's a cool atmosphere, waitress was kind, service was alright, but the only thing that stood out was the surprisingly low quality of my food. I don't usually order a chicken tender meal, but theirs was located at the top of the menu and it had a buttered up description, so I gave it a try.... And then I regretted my decision as soon as I saw my plate. Frozen chicken tenders, dirty grease fries, and watery coleslaw. All for $25. It was unreasonable. It gave me more of a $8 Dairy Queen chicken basket vibe, but I don't want to diss Dairy Queen. I'll pay $25 for Queen before I return to McMenamins. Would love to see McMenamins take a step up on this so they can give their guests an experience more pleasant than mine.

Parking can be a wee bit tricky so waking, ride share, or public transit will be your best options. But if you have to drive we found a paid lot a few blocks away While this wasn't the best tiki bar we've ever been to, it did stand out for the presentation of drinks, the cool (and massive) octopus, the immersion, and overall vibe is nice and atmospheric They have four non-alcoholic options which I really appreciated as the one driving for the night! They also have standard as well as unique takes on tiki drinks. We were surprised to find so many options with vodka and tequila which isn't common in a more traditional tiki bar We had the: - "Kiki Premier Mai Tai" which wasn't as rum forward as we would have thought, especially given how many rums it had in it; but overall it was a classic style Mai Tai and tasty with quality rums - "One Eyed Willy" which has a fun presentation in a chest with smoking dry ice. This one you could taste the rum more and overall it was a really enjoyable drink and experience - "See A Light" which is a non-alcoholic option and the taste was just as good as the presentation. Came in a lovely angler fish tiki mug with the light and everything! The taste was complex and something that thought went into creating - "Four Boys" another non-alcoholic option that was the coolest visual as it came in a "steaming" crock pot. The taste was very unexpected, in a good way, and is a drink I would get again Overall the drinks were about a 4/5 but with the charming atmosphere and whimsical presentation it's a 5 star experience that is just fun

First and foremost, you need to make a reservation. I did end up needing to move my reservation up because of scheduling but it worked out and the staff were really nice about helping me. This is a speakeasy inside Rumba, I did not know that going in. It's incredibly cool to walk into the bar. The decor is amazing. It's super small though with a few tables and bar seating. It was kinda loud when I was there since most tables were filled. My server was nice as well and was able to answer all my questions. Ambiance was exceptional and is such a cool place to visit. Most of the cocktails came with fancy show of some sort and were extravagant - and equally delicious. I got The Inside Passage, but there were at least three others I was trying to chose from. There was a lot of thought that went into the presentation of each of the drinks and I love that attention to detail. Since it was around dinner time I did want to order food and drink. They did not have the Kikisoba (they ran out) and that made me sad, but I was able to order the Rumba sliders and a basket of fries. I'm not a huge sliders fan, and I did order the caramelized pineapple on the side. The sliders were incredibly flavorful and the perfect size. For anyone wanting to visit Seattle, I do highly recommend this place. It's a really cool vibe and the food is really good too.

We did not actually come to eat because we had dinner reservations a few hours later, but we did want something small to nosh on. The menu options actually sounded pretty tasty. We only ordered the fried pickles as we didn't want anything heavy. The pickles were tasty, but they needed maybe 1 more minute in the fryer. The inside of the batter was just a tiny bit undercooked. But we still gobbled them up. Aside from that, I was slightly disappointed that they didn't actually have a lot of "tiki" styled drinks on their signature drink menu. I was expecting it to be a whole theme. It really wasn't. I think that's a missed opportunity for sure. I would really lean into that theme, since it's your name and decor. The hubby ordered the Tom Tai. It started out kinda tasty on top, but whatever alcohol was at the bottom of the glass (which was the only time I actually tried a sip) was just god awful. Have no clue what it was but it was like turpentine. Not a balance cocktail, but maybe just putting it in a shaker to mix it might have helped. Whatever alcohol was on the bottom of the drink was not good at all. Staff was friendly. Lots of tv's to watch sports. We "might" come back to give it another try based on what the menu sounded like next time we are in the area.

This place is PACKED wall to wall after 8pm Fridays and Saturdays, and I've never dropped in those nights where it wasn't an upbeat and pretty cheery vibe. When I say packed, I mean that you should wear an outfit where you can take off layers, because it gets WARM. On the weekends the song queues can get LONG but you're able to manually check where you're at in line via the tablets. If you wanna leave before 12am, get there and put your song in no later than 8pm. Expect a $5 cover on weekends, too, though sometimes it's $10. Which is crazy. And yet, I still pay it... People are super nice and if you aren't bringing a posse out with you, a lot of folks don't mind you sitting with them at their tables if it's busy and they have an extra seat open. A lot of times people will get down by the stage and dance to songs people are performing, which is just the best when it happens. All in all, the Hula Hula crowd tends to have a great mindset for karaoke. All about having a good time to good music.

It's not terrible but for the price it's not really worth it, even at happy hour prices. Examples: meat is super dried out and flavorless, deviled eggs are $4 for one USDA medium (or maybe small?) egg. I think the only reason to go here would be for the convenience (proximity to the convention center, etc) or the cocktails if you like that type of drink. Or maybe for a work happy hour if the boss is paying! Staff were friendly and service worked like a well-oiled machine. Pretty small space overall, seating for maybe 20 parties plus a bar (unless there's a back room somewhere that I didn't see). There's a outdoor bar/counter; not sure if it's available during the warmer months or if it's now a relic of early COVID outdoor dining. They do take reservations. This is an automatic 20% service charge place, which is fine as they're very clear and upfront about it. The awkward part is the credit card reader then also asks you to add a 2%, 4%, or 6% tip and it's set up such that the user interface makes it more difficult to add 0 tip than to add an additional tip. Besides which, the wait person is staring at you (and the screen) the whole time. From a monetary perspective, I don't mind tipping an extra ~5% on top of the service fee, as I would have tipped around 25% regardless, but I hate coercive UX/UI design choices like this on principle because it's skeezy. I hope the 20% is at least going to the staff and not leaving them to tip out off of people's 2% tips because that would be rough....!
