They gave me 3 bags of chips, a baguette, forgot the whole damn sandwich, and gave me a CUP of soup. Whoever bagged the orders should be fired. You literally had one job. I waited 1 hr and 30 minutes to receive this jacked up order and I'm STILL HUNGRY. BEST PART? You can't even reach them! HA! You literally cannot even call to reach this location to make them fix it. You have to call customer service. OH - they gave me rewards points, but when I go to do my order again, they're unavailable for delivery. How convenient. I am trying to give the benefit of the doubt due to corona... yet our lunch was so bad I can't forgive or excuse... There was a hair in the salad. And I was not treated very politely when I pointed it out. The manager darted away yelling to someone unseen to replace it as she went. The unseen someone never appeared. I waited. Got some lunch for me while I was at work and what do you know there is a giant hair coming out from my food,when i call the store i get helped by a lady that says they'll refund me and then gets her manager who starts by saying sorry the kitchen staff were not wearing hats? I ordered my food to-go on the kiosk, then waited. When they came out with the bag and my drink, I left without checking the items. Turns out my entire pick-2 (soup, sandwich, side) was missing. I did not notice until I got home, a 20-minute drive away. I had to call the 1-800 number, and was told that they will have to contact the store, then the store contact me in 2-3 days, in order to get a refund on my gift card. My food was handled by a very nervous, running-around-in-circles black female employee (I don't know her name, which is why I'm describing her) at approx. 2pm today. This is extremely frustrating! I come here very often and there is a young gentleman I forget his name but he is the sweetest soul ever. I've seen his dad come in and visit him and it's the cutest thing. It's great to see someone with such a great attitude during covid because I know people can be really nasty to service workers right now. He is always so nice and helpful and always has the most positive attitude. I look forward to going there just because of him. He's definitely a ray of sunshine during these hard times. The food is always so fresh and the service is very friendly. The staff remembers your face and it feels like I'm going to a place where people know me. The dining area is always kept clean. I favor this location for any lunch meeting, taking the family out, or if I just need a place to study on my own. My favorite time is early in the morning when everything is baked fresh. This was my first visit here and first visit with a newborn and playing daddy all by myself while my wife had a ladies lunch. I was a bit intimidated but I found the friendly and familiar atmosphere to be very accommodating of me and my son. The manager that was on duty, Mark, was especially gracious and helped me out with everything I needed. They really went the extra mile to make my experience a positive one. If anybody in charge reads these reviews you should really make sure you reward employees like that. After all soups sandwiches and salads are a dime a dozen. I ridiculously adore Panera Bread, esp since i got a FREE espresso today from their panera card! First time at this Studio City location and parking both in front and in the back lot were easily accessible and the staff was very friendly and pretty much cleared our table as we each finished. However, only four stars for this location because they time out your free wifi after 30 minutes... incredibly lame considering most other locations do not impose that limitation and actually encourage patrons to stick around n use their wifi so they'll buy more goodies. Perhaps this is a new rule for all Panera's but i doubt it since i was just at another location 2 weeks ago and used it for a few hours without any problems. My Dad and I used to come here every other day for YEARS. That stopped about a year ago, but we went back today. BIG mistake. I wanted to give the place another chance, but it is even worse now then when we stopped going. Damn. I'll explain: It was always dirty, but tolerable. Now it is FILTHY. Their bagel toaster is not industrial any more (the good one broke a year ago), it's just a toaster, so it takes 10 minutes to get two bagels double-toasted. They used to have a HUGE vat of iced coffee out on a counter, you could help yourself. That was the best part of going. About a year ago, they moved the iced coffee behind the counter. Now you have to get someone's attention and have them decant it for you...it takes TOO LONG to get someone's attention to get the coffee, and these days it tastes like water (an employee told me when we used to be regulars that they water it down to make it stretch). Today: High prices, no service, dirty food left on tables everywhere and general filth and food smears on every surface...and then there's the gauntlet of homeless and mentally ill that you deal with EVERY time you go there. I suppose the employees can't stop them from coming in, but it's downright scary now. A guy came up to my Dad and me today and gyrated wildly at our table, so we left. It's just too dangerous, and the food and drink just isn't worth it any more. read more

This is a cool place. When the weather is nice I like to eat at the outside patio. I had the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad and a cup of Chicken Noodle soup. I just had the small salad and the soup was very filling. Surprisingly, the soup was great because it was not very salty and it had large pieces of chicken breast. Some places serve very salty Chicken Soup, not at Panera Bread. The walnuts in the salad and the apples made it a delicious choice. No wonder they are always busy in the Studio City location. Customer service is fine, but the food isn't great at all. I ordered a bacon turkey bravo sandwich, chicken noodle with a bread bowl and a Greek salad. All of the bread items I ordered were stale and the sandwich had no flavor and looked horrendous. The portion of a full size chicken noodle barely fills up the bottom of the bread bowl. Panera is the In-N-Out of bakeries. It's no gourmet option, but it's exactly what you need to hold you over for a good craving. The people here were great, and if you're looking to stay healthy, their salads are surprisingly delicious. I grabbed a Cobb Salad, skipped the bread side for an apple, and almost forgot I was in a bakery. Only leaving 4 stars because it was exactly what I expected-nothing out of the extra ordinary amazing. Keep being awesome Panera. I would give this place zero stars if I could. The food is terrible and the restrooms are disgusting. On top of it, the help is incompetent and the fast casual overcharges for what you get. We ordered a meat sandwich special and they were out of cheese on the special. We also received the greasiest sandwich ever. It gave me a stomach ache afterward. The apple was rotten inside that they served and the soup tasted like it came from a starter kit. When we arrived we also noticed an odd smell in the back of the restaurant. When I went to use the restroom that's when I knew what it was: a sewage leak or smell from the men's restroom. Once inside, I had to hold my nose to avoid gagging. I've noticed during covid the food has been extremely disappointing and inedible. I ordered a chicken panini and a soup not only was the soup cold but the panini was too, and it was soaked in creamy sauces not sure if it was mayonnaise or what. The cheese was old, the bread was so soggy it fell apart into pieces when I took it out of the bag. I paid for food I never got to eat nor enjoy and had to call management for a refund and practically had to beg for a full refund as he was only willing to give me 6 dollars back initially. I know they would not serve me that kind of food if I was dining in because they know customers would complain and send it back immediately. We ordered soups and salads from Panera for delivery. We were told we would receive it by 4:30pm. At 6pm we had still not receive it after calling Panera and being told the order was on it's way much earlier. In this time, it's really important to be patient and kind and we figured we'd get it when it comes. When we called Panera, the Manager (I think) Maurico apologized profusely that we have not received our order and he offered to remake it so that it would be hot if we could pick it up. He raved about the Mediterranean Veggie which included Zesty Peppadew(tm) piquant peppers, feta cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cilantro hummus on our Tomato Basil bread. The chicken one was pretty good due to the melty tasty cheese. The veggie was good, but a little on the sweet side. I am not really big on straight up veggie sammies. I like my meat in there somewhere, but he swears by this thing and he seems to have pretty good taste...I mean, he did date me for over a year ;) Now onto the bread slicey thingy. It's so cool.
