Goodbye Panera- What a disappointment my lunch was with my granddaughter- Gone are all the servers, empty tables everywhere, order from a box at the counter where one person & 2 cooks reside. If you have a ? re: your order, you get in a line to speak to that one person behind the counter. When the food is ready you have to pick it up yourself. If you're ordering takeout check your receipt and check your order before you leave to make sure that everything you ask for is in the bag. Apparently this location is notorious for getting your order wrong unless you're eating in. So check your bag to make sure everything you ordered online is there before you leave the store. I know I'm repeating myself but this little detail is very important to avoid disappointment. The food is good, it's Panera. If the service had been better I would have given 5 stars. We were there at about 5:30 pm on a Saturday. While the line to order went quickly, it took the staff 20 min to get our order up. At the table, we noticed that my sandwich was missing. What the heck happened to Panera. Service was terrible. The girl that delivered our food basically threw it down on the table like she was rushing to an appt. there was no butter for the bread included so we had to get up and ask for it. Then we got the butter and found that there was no knife included in the silverware that came with our meals so we had to get up and ask for a knife. Knives and butter are no longer out where the drink station is so you can't even get your own. The steak sandwich that my friend got was pitiful. It was sloppily steak thrown into pieces of bread and was very small amount of steak. More much more bread than steak. My salad was extremely overdressed with the dressing. I ordered a half Tuna sandwich with notes that said, "please toast the bread" and the bread was not toasted at all when I picked it up. There was hardly any Tuna and the little bit that was there didn't make it on the bread, it had fallen to the side stuck to the paper. I come here often and I am so disappointed in the unsatisfactory service and food quality. Also ordered a half Green Goddess Cobb, came out perfectly and was delicious. I love Panera food. Baguettes, salads, tomato soup, sandwiches...I enjoy many of their menu items. This location has had a facelift recently, which makes the beverage area much more functional. The Greek salad is good, the Smoked Turkey sandwich is just OK. The service was good, the atmosphere - not my style, people with laptops, kinda cold decor wise. Recently, while we were walking around, we wanted to get pastries for breakfast for next morning. Unfortunately there were no other bakeries within walking distance so we stopped by Panera and got the Cobblestone pastry to go. It sounded good, but trust me, it was nothing great, more like something you'd find in a supermarket. We'll stuck with ethnic bakeries and delis for now on for our pastries shopping. I actually frequent Panera Bread often but usually for Ice Tea or coffee. As far as there food its pretty bland and plain. Everytime I come here I try something out hoping it'll be better than the last. But nope I haven't found a meal here I like. I do love there Ice Teas. It's self serve and they usually have 3 different teas where you can mix it up for some flavor. There coffees are pretty bomb too and usually pretty fresh. Most of time this place is a bit dirty and usually has lots of tables that haven't been cleaned yet. There's plenty of free parking in the back. read more

not at all impressed. should have read the reviews first ...figured it was a fairly ok chain, and we needed to eat..... This place is DIRTY! Even the restrooms are dirty. Floors are dirty. Table tops are dirty. Seats are dirty. Husband had tomato soup and chicken salad sandwich. Tomato soup was not a good taste. Chicken salad was ok. I had the "French" onion soup which was not at all close to what this soup should taste like. Staff seemed nice enough but made no effort when no one was in line, to clean up surrounding areas.
