The steak plate was perfect. Steak tender and cooked medium rare. Juicy. Mashed potatoes very good. Arugula salad excellent. Nice staff. read more

I'm updating my review because the last review was during Covid and focused on their Covid protocol and management. Since then I eat here regularly and quite love the food and the team of people there so this review is focused on that. This is consistent, healthy , delicious food with lots of options. I'm a huge fan of the Ahi Tuna Plate - which I get cooked well-done instead of seared and I love their salads so I get the Arugula salad and the Spinach salad as my sides. Flavors are great - very satisfying lunch or dinner option. Also love all the new menu items they have -- they keep the menu fluid and seem to add new things a lot so there are always new things to try. I love the Falafel - and I'm picky about my Falafel. Also, the braised beans are very tasty. Their beverage options are plentiful -- green juice, mint lemonade, a couple different kinds of iced tea, sodas and they have beers as well (according to my friend: "good ones"). The team they have in there right now is LOVELY, kind, friendly, fast and really welcomes you. Plenty of free parking, which is always nice. Located on the 2nd level with an elevator, an escalator and stairs so access options for all! :) I go here several times a month for a quick bite and Tender Greens always delivers. So they've gotten past their Covid failure and turned into one of my Studio City staples. Also, it's not a fancy place, but their second floor location, provides sort of a nice view of Ventura Blvd and the mountains in the distance. I like going in and sitting there for a bite. It's pleasant and easy. read more

Tender Greens is definitely one of my favorite places for healthy food made with real, natural ingredients. Everything is usually very fresh and flavorful. I love that you can easily choose a wholesome meal here -- mashed potatoes, baked or roasted potatoes, soups, salads -- there are plenty of balanced options. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of seating inside, plus a nice outdoor patio. Prices are reasonable, portions are moderate, and overall it's a great spot for a healthy, satisfying meal. Today we tried the grilled salmon salad. It was a bit too spicy for my taste, and the seasonal vegetables were quite salty. The last time we had them they were perfect, so maybe it was just a small inconsistency today. I'll definitely be back. read more

Great and healthy food, AWESOME customer service, great location and very affordable prices. The restaurant is large, clean and very well organized. Parking can be a challenge due to a planet fitness gym based in the same shopping center however, you WILL eventually locate a spot. read more

Tender Greens is my go to when I want a hearty healthy salad {1050 calories}. The pacific salmon bowl is The Best! They put a nice char on the salmon skin. You get the tangy green salad with those pickled cucumber slices! The sushi rice is perfectly cooked!! And to top it off with the semi-spicy miso mayo!! {Chef's kiss}. And don't forget the Mint Lemonade!! read more

I am so excited to find this place. I had the steak with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. The meat was perfectly cooked how I requested and delicious. A variety of sides are offered, finally a place that offers healthy vegetables for those of us that like meat AND vegetables. The vegetables were more seasoned than I would have preferred but I like things more plain. The green drink filled with cucumbers tumeric and other healthy additions was so good. Excellent customer service. Mace was so helpful, friendly, kind, and all around wonderful! I look forward to trying their salmon, shrimp, chicken, and salads. It's so nice to find a place that serves this kind of wholesome food at more reasonable prices than a traditional sit down restaurant. The ambiance is nice too. I look forward to my next visit! read more

Great flavors & sandwiches! Beer selection was strong for the fee choices they had. Chicken Pesto sandwich was awesome, toasted perfectly & fries were huge! 4 stars for the lack of A/C, many of the tables had leftovers on them, with a full staff they should have someone clean more often. Would visit again for the food & friendly staff! read more

The salmon plate was delicious with a side of mashed potatoes and baby greens. I loved so much the mash it was buttery, smooth and delicious. The baby greens was fresh and the dressing was very good. I wish maybe the salmon was a tad bit more flavorful but it was cooked perfectly and a nice portion. Green juice was also good and a lot! Didn't except 2 servings. read more

I usually love tender greens, but something was off when I had it here. It didn't taste nearly as good as usual when I go to the two other locationss by me. Not sure what was up at this place. read more

Always amazing. Great service. Very clean establishment. Food is always prepared as stated.

I give them four stars for the comfort level of the seating area, the variety of healthy foods, the abundance of parking, and the pleasant service. I took one star off because the food, while delicious, was in very small portions. I got salmon for $21.25 and it was just a few bites. From what I'm reading, the portions used to be larger. I know everything is super expensive now, but that small piece of fish wasn't worth the money. read more

Located on the corner of Ventura Bl. And Laurel Canyon Bl. It sits on the 2nd floor with some Mountain View's. It's a cool spot for some healthy eating. I ordered the Salmon salad. They have sandwiches, bowls, plates and salads. So when you come in you place your order at the counter , get your number they bring out your food and enjoy. The salad was delicious! They lettuce was crisp, tomatoes perfectly ripe, cucumbers, plentiful and topped with the Salmon, perfect! The dressing was light and not over powering. I imagine this a great lunch/dinner spot . The staff were great. Greeted with smiles, everyone was helpful and pleasant I will be here again read more

Tl;dr: I'm at this location a few times weekly, and have watched it steadily improve over the years. @ownership: Israel is a major reason quality+morale have gone up at this location. He is great on the line and with customers. Having him here has made a huge difference, man can cook! Josue is doing a very, very good here. Your staff is motivated, food is coming out consistent andnfast, overall experience is excellent and neighborhoody, not corporate. Don't lose your people, they really turned things around here. read more

Great food and great ambient, always looking forward to eat my salads there, it's my favorite restaurant!

Super fresh ingredients and healthy options. The chicken on my salad was so good! Fast service and clean restaurant

The food is terrible! I ordered a country styled fried chicken and it is covered in salt and spices, as if they spilled a container of salt on it by accident. The kid's Mac and cheese has no flavor at all. Definitely won't be going back. read more

I can't stop raving about my recent meal at Tender Greens in downtown LA. They've truly set the bar high with their fresh, flavorful salad dishes! The Harvest Salad was bursting with vibrant, crisp ingredients, and the double dressing was an absolute game-changer. Every bite was perfection. Everything always feels so full of freshness everytime I order from here. When I want a great meal I know I can count on Tender Greens. This place is right next to my work so I love ordering from here when I need a little extra heathy treat. read more

Decided to stop by TG for dinner. Haven't eaten at this place in a while. Loved the updated menu. The food continues being fresh and flavorful as expected. The cashier was friendly and welcoming and although the restaurant didn't have too many people sitting down to eat, there was a lot of foot traffic from take out orders. The table seating ranged from booths to stools and high tables. For my dinner I decided to create a plate with chipotle chicken, a spinach salad with the dressing on the side and roasted vegetables. My husband got the buttermilk fried chicken, roasted fingerling potatoes and roasted vegetables. Each plate comes with a ride of crispy toast. My only complaint would be for bigger portion of protein serving size. read more

What changed with the studio city Tender Greens? Haven't been in a while and found myself in the area. Food was TERRIBLE. No flavor, doesn't look appetizing, overall vibe of the restaurant was depressing. Extremely disappointed. Won't be returning. read more

The parking lot had really relaxed parking. I mean no time limits, no attendants and multiple open spots which was a relief. I found the restaurant clean, those at the register ready to take my order. Food came out with no long wait. The food itself was tasty. Moreso than I was expecting. The dining area is spacious. I think there's even tables outside with heaters going. Restroom is small and not a lot of urinals or toilets to go around. read more

It had been a while since I had been to this location but my friend wanted to meet for lunch. It was on my way home, so it worked out very well. We both got pretty much the same thing: *Seared Tuna Plate (grilled rare with sea salt & herb oil) -I got it with Baby Greens & Sherry Vinaigrette and Seasonal Vegetables (Grilled Corn, Baby Sweet Peppers, Petite French Green Beans, Summer Squash, Green Zucchini) -The Tuna was perfect and hoad such a wonderful flavor. The Veggies seemed a little to oily but still tasty. -She got it with Seasonal Vegetables (Grilled Corn, Baby Sweet Peppers, Petite French Green Beans, Summer Squash, Green Zucchini) and Brown Rice I also used the Yelp Check In offer to get a Green Juice. It was very quiet inside so service was easy and quick. The only downside is that this place has gotten quite expensive. I can go to another quick service that is similar and get something almost identical for about $5-$7 less. Parking is easy and free which is a major perk. read more

I used to love this location but it's horrible now. Do not order from here! I can not eat steak cooked all the way through. I have digestive issues and the last three times I've ordered from here they have sent me well done steak. This is absolutely absurd to not even get it right at least once out of the last three times I've ordered. Rare and medium rare is what I order and pictured below is what they send me. This goes beyond a training issue and makes me severely question the cleanliness and other aspects of the restaurant when they can't even deliver consistently and properly prepared food. So over this restaurant and disappointed that I have to find an alternative. read more

For high quality organic salads... Come here. There's no place better and I can't ever get enough of them. Their baby greens are so delicious and tender, they're served with a fork and a knife so you can cut and enjoy each bite. Always refreshing and they hit the spot every time. And like others have mentioned, you'd pay the same amount for a salad at a restaurant for half the taste and quality. read more
