West Coast Burger! So good! They're better than the pizzas!
    Jonny S.

My family comes here often. My daughter loves the kids cheese pizza (extra cheese), my wife loves the buffalo cauliflower, I love the WCB (west coast burger), and we all love the bread! The service is always quick, attentive, and friendly. The staff always gives us a warm welcome. The ambiance is typical CPK flair which is always clean and upscale. I gotta say that the burger is really amazing. It's so good that CPK could open a burger joint franchise with this recipe. CBK!!!

The food here was phenomenal today. My son and I met my nephews here for lunch and had a great time. The hostess wasn't friendly but the waiter made up for that. We were seated right away (there were seven of us). We ordered drinks and appetizers. I loved the new shrimp appetizer. So flavorful and delicious served over cabbage. I can have that for a meal next time. It's that good. The pizza was amazing so was my most favorite Thai chicken salad. So fresh and delicious. The right about of dressing and protein. Can't ask for a better salad, but I do need to try other options one day. Haha. ... the pasta my son ordered was so good. Parpadelle with short rib ragu ..... yummm sooo good. The piccata with salmon was amazing. My nephew wanted a second serving (he didn't get it lol) overall everything we ordered was perfectly made. I have been to other locations but I can easily say the food somehow tastes better here. Keep up the great work. We will be back.

    Salmon lemon butter capers delicious

The Salmon in Lemon Butter sauce with capers was the star of the table. Seared to perfection on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. Great service all around from waitress and manger. Great location lots of parking right on Ventura, clean inside.

Found this slimy undefinable object in my child's pasta. It looks inedible and unappetizing.

Have not been to CPK in years, really enjoyed it. Decent prices and very nice staff.

Haven't been here in a while ordered take out . My tortilla soup was cold and missing the strips and the split pea was warm . I should have just eaten there . Two in a bowl is just not the same to go :(

Was looking for somewhere to eat with friends late Saturday evening and was really grateful that this was open! The parking structure didn't have a valet attendant around 8:30pm so we just parked on our own and didn't have to worry about validation. The staff helped us really quickly and the food was out in about 15 mins. I got the bbq chicken pizza -- the crust was very thick and there wasn't very much bbq sauce. It felt pretty dry compared to what I remember. My husband got the chicken piccata and it was almost inedible. He loved getting this dish in the past, but for some reason this time was a miss. The noodles were really overcooked, the sauce was VERY salty and sour -- the lemon overpowered everything. It was honestly not what we remembered. It also felt like the capers were not proportional to the noodles in the dish. It was a good place to hang out with friends but the food was not as good as we remembered.

Two of the dumplings look like nuggets. I wish the bag had been stapled or taped appropriately. The food container was not tapex either.

We went anyway, even though there was nothing extra special to celebrate but life, health and friendship. First off, finding parking was insane- and there was filming across the street taking up nearly all the parking for blocks- I tried. just Valet it rather than walk 6 blocks in heels. Entering this place for the first time, I was enchanted, - treated like a VIP from the parking staff, the door security, host team and servers. Our table was next to the fire place and under the open sky. I could see immediately why this place is loved for the romantic and charming ambiance. We'd planned to share a few plates but then found the prix fix menu and that made it easy. Half a fresh baguette and soft delicious butter with balsamic arrived and it was amazing. The appetizers arrived, heirloom tomatoes with burrata were the best I've had in L.A. and my friend ate most of it himself. Tuna tartar was good. Next the entrees- steak frites for me and the braised short rib for him. The steak was huge filet mignon, with a side of delicious French fries. One suggestion- eat the French fries as hot as possible. They were great and I almost missed them, focused on the steak and sharing the braised short rib with pomme puree and a mushroom sauce that was excellent. The portions were unexpectedly generous. I did not have a lot of room for dessert, but creme brûlée a sticky toffee cake were just incredible. I can't wait to come back with a less fussy dinner guest because he made what would have been an epic first visit less enjoyable than it could have been. Thanks to the several wait staff and manager who accommodated above and beyond. This place is my new favorite L.A. restaurant! I highly recommend you bring your special people to this special place.

Had a reservation, but the restaurant was very busy, so we were seated outside on a patio, which was fine. Started off with an amuse consisting of a sparkling rose and a whipped, creamy mixture of goat cheese, pecans, chives and aleppo pepper. The rose was rose, it was a small sipping glass, while the whipped treat was alright, interesting but presentation was very basic. For the real meal, we started with bigeye tuna tartare and the pork belly and watermelon. The pork belly was perfect, nice and crispy on the outside, juicy inside, while the watermelon gave a pop of sweetness to cut the savory of the pork belly. The tartare was equally as good with pickled ginger, avocado and ponzu sauce with crispy wontons. For entrees we went with the langostino fettuccine and the braised short rib. The short rib fell apart perfectly and had good flavor to it. It didn't necessarily come off as memorable but it was good. The langostino fettuccine was great, good amount of langostino in a vodka sauce giving a little spicy note to the dish. Very good. To end the meal we had the apple cobbler and the molten cake. The cobbler came with vanilla ice cream and candied walnuts. Nice overall bite. The molten cake was the opposite of molten, missing that runny gooeyness in the middle. Overall, great ambiance, good food and pleasant staff. I'd say skip the molten cake and up to you on the short rib.

Saturday, October 3rd…read more We arrived right on time and were promptly seated with our friends at a 4 top. The place was bustling and loud. Our waiter came over and took our drink order, Hendricks martini for wifeypie and a Grey Goose martini for moi. Our friends abstained. Our waiter brought our drinks and asked if we wanted to order. I almost laughed. On the inside I was like "Really? You just brought us two martinis, we have been at the table for maybe five minutes and you want to know if we are ready to order?" Actually, I did laugh and declined the offer. We sat for a few minutes catching up with our friends. All the while the maître d' and another gentleman were kibitzing with the person occupying a booth directly behind one of our friends. They kept coming and going, bumping into my friend's chair and talking loudly. My friend kept turning around every time they bumped into him. They would apologize and then continue with the same shit. This went on for over twenty minutes and was quite annoying. We all ordered. Wifeypie had the salmon, I had the deconstructed short rib Wellington. Our friends split the lamb chops, ordered medium, substituting french fries for the mashed potatoes. We all had salads to start. We gabbed, enjoyed our salads and dinner arrived. Wifeypie's salmon looked dry and overcooked. My short rib Wellington was described on the menu as "cabernet-braised short rib, mushrooms, puff pastry, horseradish cream." Our friend's lamb chops were clearly not medium from my vantage point and in the middle of the plate sat a big pile of mashed potatoes. We requested that the server please bring the french fries, as ordered. Wifeypie's salmon was overcooked, but she said it was ok. My Wellington was sitting in a sauce that tasted heavily of truffle oil and nothing like the dish was described. I had to ask for a steak knife as the meat was not butter tender, as a short rib should be. There was one lamb chop on my friend's plate that was almost medium, the rest were well done. The french fries showed up 15 minutes after the entrees, after we had made two requests. I ate about half my dish, it was disappointing. Wifeypie had about half of hers and our friends had two of the four chops on the plate. They did like the french fries however, when they finally arrived! Our waiter did not check on the table until we had stopped eating. At that point my friend pointed out that the chops were overcooked and the waiter actually picked up one of the chops to look at it! "Really????" I have to give credit at least on one point, they did remove the lamb chops from the bill. He asked if we wanted dessert and we all declined. We had indicated on the reservation that it was one of our birthdays. That was ignored. You be the judge. Humbly submitted, Moi

The tortilla has an interesting texture, one which I'm not sure I liked or disliked as it appeared dry, even with the fatty pastrami. The Peruvian scallop sashimi was fresh, with layers of flavor and textures from the passion fruit sauce, cavior and thinly sliced red peppers. The cured salmon yaki onigiri is rice heavy; the salmon was fresh and beautifully dressed. We also had the mango rum ice cream which was perhaps my least favorite order. The rum was heavy and made the ice cream slightly bitter and the mango flavors was masked.

I usually pick my own restaurants, thank you very much - but my friend knows my tastes, and she also knows restaurants... and so when she suggested this place from badass former Top Chef contestant Antonia Lofaso, I was like: let's see if her food is as good as she boasted it was on TV! Verdict: it slapped! First of all, they have a hella good happy hour, until *6:30 pm*, Monday - Sunday. Is that generous or what? We ordered at 6:25 and they still hooked us up. *Full craft cocktails* only $8 during that time. We decided to double up LOL, get 2. I tried the Hand Maid and the Southern Cawing. I think that if I'd gotten one of the cocktails from their regular menu (like Piccolo Punch, $19), it might have been more interesting - but these were very solid. And where are you going to get 2 craft cocktails for $8 each? Food: we got the corn fritters from the HH menu: 4 hulking delicious fritters for $8. Yes, please! We then decided to split 2 apps from the regular menu: brussel sprouts and the hamachi app. Both were unique and tasty. And then I got for myself (cuz my friend doesn't love smoked fish like I do) Smoked ocean trout, ciabatta, pickled baby veg, arugula, dill shallot aioli- $25. It was on a toast, and super filling. Overall, the patio was great (sun in our eyes at that time, but they pulled the shades down) - the servers were super nice - the valet was easy - and Antonia's food was great! We shared a Truffled Mushroom Burger, ESW salad, Sangria, and water. The Truffled Mushroom Burger came with Menage aú mushroom, goat cheese, tomato, pickles, imported truffle oil & goddess aioli. The ESW salad came with lots of good, fresh, healthy, vegetables. They are: field greens, avocado, heirloom tomatoes, red onion, corn, grilled asparagus, hothouse cucumber, edamame, crispy tortilla strips, cashews and vinaigrette dressing, I opted for ranch and no cashews. $18.00 for the salad, and there was a price difference by $6.50 in the Truffle burger. They charged me $28.50 for our burger, when on their website it says $22.00. I am not going to dock a star for that, but they need to get the price right. Is it $28.50 or is it $22.00.? Food tasted fresh, healthy, not oily, and not salty. It was pretty good and the portions were fair. Not too big and not too small.Very filling though. Our burger came with shoe strings fries, which was good and they charged an additional$2.00. Sangria was not too strong and had a good kick to it, and it was pretty refreshing. $9.00. Great live music. Bands name was BARRY BIG B. BRENNER. Great musicians and they truly delivered for 2 hours straight. Ambiance was cool, chill, dim lights, interior of the restaurant was wood. Tables/chairs, mirrors on the walls, art work of many different kinds, candles on the tables, a nice bar, cute, small patio outside, clean restroom and last but not least a great service by Vivian and Karla. They have couple of spots of parking in the back, but I parked on the street. Overall a great experience, a little pricy for my budget. Will return again when I have some $$ in my pocket! Will post photos when I get a minute.

I don't ever leave reviews but this place is legit so good and the customer service makes you feel…read morelike a regular, even though it was my 1st time! Went out on a Tuesday to meet with friends from out of town. Place had a really nice vibe and music. We sat outside on the patio and it was perfect weather. The drinks were awesome, the food was good and it came out really quick too. But what made it special was the service here. I went to the bar to order food for the patio and then I started seeing people line up to order in the middle of the bar. By the time I realized I was already now 10th in line. Before the line could move, the bartender named Amanda called over "Hey! I saw you here first before everyone. I'll take your order first." We all know how chaotic bartending can be so for her to do that really stuck out to me and I appreciated the thought and consideration. She didn't have to do that at all, but did! It was her and Shauna making drinks that night and the service was top notch! Fast forward to the end of the night, I completely forgot a pair of my favorite shades there. I called the next morning expecting absolutely nothing and for them to be gone. The manager Dominick takes my info and description of the glasses and says he doesn't see them but he'll call me back. Over the course of maybe the next 15 or 20 mins and several phone calls, he is reviewing security cam footage to see what happened to my shades and find out if they were picked up and where they were stored for lost & found pickup. Never in my life have I gotten this kind of response before when losing something. I even felt bad for taking up his time but he was committed to finding them and eventually located me in the security footage and left them with a note for me to pickup. A solid place like this will always be a great choice for food and drinks, no matter what day or occasion. Awesome food and drinks with an incredible staff!

It's also pretty loud... but it's a bar so... enjoy the sounds of people having fun with an eclectic playlist going underneath. Also, don't skip the pork belly or the pretzel- both are worth the bar line and noise lol
