    BBQ Chicken Pizza
    Leigh M.

I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and it was so good. I love thin crust pizza and there was so much flavor. Very good quality pizza which I will definitely have again. The parking is a little tricky since the sushi place next door has valet parking and there was no street parking available. Inside the restaurant, it feels like a NY pizzeria with a few tables. The counter staff were nice and helpful.

I ordered their "special" on post mates buy one 12" and get one for free. For future reference they deliver and have better prices and coupons so call them direct. When I received the pizza I was happy to see that it was a nice thin crust. They cooked it crispy as I like and the fold was great. The crust tasted really good and overall the pizza taste was a fantastic balance of sauce and toppings. I did ask for extra cheese on the cheese pizza. I would say they did an okay job putting extra cheese but when I say extra cheese I mean over powering. The pizzas was still warm by the time it got to us and the toppings had settled in perfectly. This dough and crust were good and I usually like to see my toppings level higher than my crust. They were almost there. When the pizza arrived I was pleased to see their specials on the box as a flyer and I will gladly order directly from them rather than Postmates. Check out my pizza photos, so you can see it looked great.

A buddy got a couple of Pepe's big pies to-go. By the time I got to his place the pizza was cold, but it didn't matter because it tasted so darn good! Eventually I came in for a couple of slices and darn, if this pizza doesn't taste better when it's hot. The crust is not too thick, the sauce is loaded with flavor and the slices are not swimming in grease. I could eat a whole pie by myself. The shop is clean and comfortable and the service is friendly. They let me add Garlic powder, and Red Crushed Peppers before I left. Really good pizza at Pepe's. I'm heading over there right now for a slice!

Good service and good pizza. It's a pretty clean restaurant. They also have outdoor sitting street parking available

Most of these places are fairly similar. I thought the pizza was good and at a good value. Nice people, nice place inside. Ordered to go. Was satisfied and would definitely come back. Fast enough for lunch if you order online

So today I finally made it over to Pepe's. Been wanting to check this place out for a long time. Being a New Yorker I was once again excited to find a good NY pizza spot in LA. But as soon as saw these uninspiring slices in the display case I knew this was going to be a tragedy. It's like this pizza was created by a 3D PRINTER. And it tastes like it. Please don't think this represents NY pizza. There are fine places here in LA that do it right this isn't one of them.

20" Sicilian Deep Dish Pizza- thickness

In my search for the best NY style pizza & Sicilian pizza, I came across this place. The place is situated in the prime location of studio city LA. Metered Street Parking is available, which was difficult on a weekend to get. There is a private parking structure right besides their shop, we parked their & were done in 5 minutes as we had placed our order for pick up. Their were 2 guys working and no customer present. Its a cute little shop. They do have coupons on their site, so do use them. I used their coupon of with any 20" pizza get a 12" pizza with a topping free. We ordered their:- Sicilian pizza $23 - The pizza looked tempting & had a good thickness to it. Not buttery though like the "Brooklyn pizza wagon", the sauce was too strong, had to scrape it down. The cheese was weird while eating. It did not give that cheesy stretch, and had a hard bite to it. Cheese pizza with onions- It was thin unlike a NY style but was crisp, the cheese was overly browned. Overall a decent pizza place. Will try other places out.

super delicious! employee are super kind. I was looking for something good in the neighborhood and it was the perfect thing!

Pepe's NY Pizza. $40 for a large double pepperoni with a small chopped salad delivered in 25 minutes. I thought I hadn't had this for years, but it turns out I did just last fall. Now I know why I had forgotten about it. Crust is good and holds a fold. Typical water crust, no real flavor with a good chew. The sauce is bland, it literally tastes like salt and peppered tomato sauce. Not bitter or sweet. Kinda right down the middle. Sadly the amount was more than enough to wet the dough, and create a slide for the cheese and toppings. See below. The cheese firmed up pretty quickly, and you can see in the pics it was delivered hot. By the time I sat down it had firmed up enough to rip all the toppings off on the first bite. I literally had a sheet of cheese and pepperoni hanging from my mouth on the first bite! This screams of frozen and thawed cheese with too much sauce. Though there wasn't enough sauce to make it soggy. Once again, the double pepperoni conundrum. Look at the pics and let me know if you think it was adequately pepp'd. Overall a meh pie that would probably taste great drunk! I'd say as good as pizza man, but there are much, much better pizzas for less.

Food was great! Service was even better! It's a hole-in-the-wall pizza joint, but the pasta is worth a stop too. Huge portions. Good value.

You can actually watch everything being prepared right in front of you, and there's something about seeing the pasta and dishes come together fresh that makes the whole experience feel that much more authentic. The ragu is the star for me. The first time I ordered it, I'll admit I underestimated it because visually it looks so simple and isn't swimming in sauce. Then you take a bite and realize how much flavor is packed into such an unassuming dish. It's rich, savory, perfectly balanced, and one of those dishes I find myself craving afterward. I'm also a huge fan of their salad, and I've done the tasting menu twice now. Both times were excellent and gave me a chance to try things I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own. And definitely save room for the tiramisu...it's delicious! The space itself is intimate, with a limited number of traditional tables and more seating around the bar/open kitchen area. Personally, I think sitting near the kitchen adds to the experience because you get to watch all the action. The service is another reason I keep coming back. Everyone has consistently been attentive, warm, and friendly, and Thomas, the manager, deserves a special mention. He is always welcoming and helps create the kind of hospitality that turns a great restaurant into a place you genuinely want to return to. One thing to keep in mind: gratuity is already included, so check your bill before adding an additional tip. Also worth noting, there's no full cocktail program here, just wine and beer, which honestly fits the simple, authentic Italian vibe perfectly. Fresh ingredients, great service, an intimate atmosphere, and food that consistently delivers. There's a reason this place has become one of our regular spots. And seriously... get the ragu.

The salmon salad is my personal favorite and I order it constantly, but the avocado toast deserves its own moment. I brought a friend recently who said "avocado toast always tastes the same" -- and I told her not here. She understood immediately on her first bite. It is bursting with flavor in a way that has no business being as good as it is. I mean, it's bread, avocado, some cheese, fresh basil.... but it SINGS! The desserts are delicious, the server recommendations are genuinely solid (they actually know the menu and steer you right), and the service overall is warm and attentive. Special shoutout to Miles, who is always a joy and makes you feel genuinely welcomed every time. The space is small with both indoor and outdoor seating, but that's part of the charm -- it feels less like a restaurant and more like going over to a friend's house for dinner. They take real care of you here, attentive, superior, friendly service. If you haven't been, go. And when you get there, order the avocado toast -- even if you think you've had good avocado toast before. You haven't had this one. But seriously, anything you order will be great! Easy street parking and during the day for lunch they have a valet just next to Voyage et Cie (shop next door) that's reasonably priced.

Walked in on the 29th of last month with a former coworker at 5:20pm, and was nicely greeted by Irvin and Kelcey. Since it was a bit crowded inside, we both decided to sit outside. It has a cute vibe to it. Both inside and outside. Place was clean, except their gender neutral restroom, which is outside. In a way it's good. The trash was full. They have a huge, extensive menu with options from sandwiches, to soups, desserts, cold and hot beverages, known for their Panini sandwiches. They also have salads, appetizers, pizza, and pastas. Organic and gluten free options too. Also vegan friendly. I wish that they can add some seafood on their menu. They only have fish. Kelcey gave us an excellent, exceptional service. In every way. She needs a raise and a promotion at the same time. We both got different dishes and shared. Let me not forget to say that the water that they brought along with a refill, tasted like medicine. It was weird and strange at the same time. Even with a slice of lemon inside. Not good. Food came out pretty quickly and our Beet & Arugula Salad took the cake. It was that good! It had red beets, oranges, cranberries, candied pecans, (told her no pecans), goat cheese tossed in an orange Vinaigrette dressing. She even brought extra dressing, but the salad had enough dressing already. We also got their heart shaped Turkey Panini sandwich that was out of this world. The Baguette was nicely toasted and came with avocado, sun dried tomatoes, Provolone cheese, & Basil garlic sauce. Very fresh and delicious. Last but not least, we got their Penne Milano pasta that came with grilled chicken breast, fresh basil, (minus pine nuts), chopped Roma tomatoes, Kalamata olives, & roasted red peppers in a spicy pink Alfredo sauce. Let me not forget that we got a nice basket of complimentary bread which was old/stale, that almost broke two of my teeth, and had 3 butters. We also got Torchi (pickled veggies). Cauliflower and Carrots. The sauce for the pasta was a bit too spicy for our liking. It did say spicy on the menu, but it was too much. The pasta was lukewarm, but the rest were fine. Kelcey checked on us few times and everything was great! Amount of food that we got was perfect for the prices. I will definitely return, when I am craving any one of their food options. Thank you Kelcey, Irvin, IL Tramezzino, and management! Their original location is in Beverly Hills & don't have parking. Plenty of parking around the block, on Ventura blvd, and on their side streets. That's all for now.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic date night, meeting friends for brunch, or simply treating yourself to an unforgettable meal, Ca' Del Sole delivers every single time. The food is exceptional. Every dish is beautifully prepared with the quality, elegance, and attention to detail you'd expect from an upscale restaurant in France or Italy--but at prices that are surprisingly reasonable. It's rare to find a restaurant that feels this luxurious without the luxury price tag. Their brunch is outstanding, dinner is absolutely spectacular, and every meal feels like an occasion. The service is equally impressive. It's not unusual to spot an A-list celebrity dining here, but what I love most is that everyone is treated like a VIP. What a crazy number of days, weeks, months we've spent without enjoying the good food and friendly service at this comfy, homestyle Italian eatery with a full bar and even fuller menu of properly prepared, seriously tasty dishes. The room is cheery and bright, while remaining welcoming. Not a sign of anything corporate here -- just homespun hospitality and good vibes from start to finish. Our server, Chris, was attentive and most accommodating, explaining various options to us newbies, and making my wife an offer she couldn't refuse: she was trying to decide between Chicken Parm and Cacio E Pepe, so Chris offered to swap the plain pasta side of the parm with Cacio E Pepe, giving her both dishes in one. Sold. You pretty much never see that kind of thing happening nowadays. And it was a great thing, to be sure. The generous portion of chicken was lightly fried and topped with an equally light tomato sauce that complimented the chicken and cheese rather than overwhelming them. The flavor and texture were spot on, and the robust Cacio E Pepe made for a very nice pairing. Me? I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, once Chris assured me it was made the traditional way rather than doused in cream as so many places now do. And indeed, the spaghetti was textbook al dente, dressed with with egg yolk and cheese that combined into a richly satisfying sauce. The pancetta brought a touch of salt and plenty of smoky accents, making this about as top notch a version of this dish as you're likely to find in the Valley. Cannoli were sweet and rich; a wonderful palate cleanser at the end of our meal. A Pepperoni Pizza taken to go for our kids at home looked absolutely first rate. Did I mention my martini? Properly made, cool and crisp, and only $15. Quite the bargain for this side of town. First off, finding parking was insane- and there was filming across the street taking up nearly all the parking for blocks- I tried. just Valet it rather than walk 6 blocks in heels. Entering this place for the first time, I was enchanted, - treated like a VIP from the parking staff, the door security, host team and servers. Our table was next to the fire place and under the open sky. I could see immediately why this place is loved for the romantic and charming ambiance. We'd planned to share a few plates but then found the prix fix menu and that made it easy. Half a fresh baguette and soft delicious butter with balsamic arrived and it was amazing. The appetizers arrived, heirloom tomatoes with burrata were the best I've had in L.A. and my friend ate most of it himself. Tuna tartar was good. Next the entrees- steak frites for me and the braised short rib for him. The steak was huge filet mignon, with a side of delicious French fries. One suggestion- eat the French fries as hot as possible. They were great and I almost missed them, focused on the steak and sharing the braised short rib with pomme puree and a mushroom sauce that was excellent. The portions were unexpectedly generous. I did not have a lot of room for dessert, but creme brûlée a sticky toffee cake were just incredible. I can't wait to come back with a less fussy dinner guest because he made what would have been an epic first visit less enjoyable than it could have been. Thanks to the several wait staff and manager who accommodated above and beyond. This place is my new favorite L.A. restaurant! I highly recommend you bring your special people to this special place.

Had a reservation, but the restaurant was very busy, so we were seated outside on a patio, which was fine. Started off with an amuse consisting of a sparkling rose and a whipped, creamy mixture of goat cheese, pecans, chives and aleppo pepper. The rose was rose, it was a small sipping glass, while the whipped treat was alright, interesting but presentation was very basic. For the real meal, we started with bigeye tuna tartare and the pork belly and watermelon. The pork belly was perfect, nice and crispy on the outside, juicy inside, while the watermelon gave a pop of sweetness to cut the savory of the pork belly. The tartare was equally as good with pickled ginger, avocado and ponzu sauce with crispy wontons. For entrees we went with the langostino fettuccine and the braised short rib. The short rib fell apart perfectly and had good flavor to it. It didn't necessarily come off as memorable but it was good. The langostino fettuccine was great, good amount of langostino in a vodka sauce giving a little spicy note to the dish. Very good. To end the meal we had the apple cobbler and the molten cake. The cobbler came with vanilla ice cream and candied walnuts. Nice overall bite. The molten cake was the opposite of molten, missing that runny gooeyness in the middle. Overall, great ambiance, good food and pleasant staff. I'd say skip the molten cake and up to you on the short rib.

Extensive menu with so much variety including lots of delicious finds for all. Team green falafel all the way!! Their vegan pizza pie with caramelized onion, mixed green, roasted garlic and so many yummy flavors is a win as well! The tofu scramble and salatim make brunch the best. And let's not forget about that vegan double chocolate cake :) Enjoy the full dine in experience as well as delivery or pickup - Bacari does it all yall. Incredible cocktails as well as mocktails, inclusive wine, beer and non-alcohol beverages which include classic like juice, cold brew, other coffee like favs and teas. Super gluten free friendly, vegetarian friendly and vegan friendly across the board. Indoor cozy seating as well as intimate stylish patio seating that's beyond dreamy when the weather is nice. It's casual, trendy, and enchanting all at once. Service is typically pretty great. ADA entrance, restrooms and paths. Parking is valet or local street and lot, typically meter or flat rate. During the week they're only open for dinner at 4:30PM until 10:30 PM which makes a weekday lunch craving unfortunate. Friday through Sunday is a different story as the AM to PM is abundant, with a small gap between 230PM til 4PM where they close on Saturday and Sunday only for the change over. Large parties should absolutely make reservation in advanced as this is a very popular and frequently busy location. Bottomless mimosas are available (for a 90 minute time window during you meal)!!

The coffee was also excellent and definitely worth mentioning. The atmosphere was beautiful, cozy, and welcoming, and the servers were absolutely wonderful--friendly, attentive, and very professional. We really enjoyed the overall experience. We sat outside, and the only small downside was that it was a little warm, but that's obviously not really the restaurant's fault. Other than that, everything was great! Overall, a lovely place with delicious food, great coffee, a beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back again!

The inside looks nice with black and white photo prints and bottles of wine up top. I can see this place as great for happy hour, family meals, and romantic dates. The food took a while to arrive. They have bo kid's menu but can customize the pastas for you. They seem to specialize in Pink Sauce - sort of a tomatoey alfredo. My review is a bit mixed, so 3 stars. Positives: * Caesar salad was presented nicely and was fresh and crispy with big croutons and wedges of cheese. * Wife seems to like the side of jumbo grilled prawns Areas of Improvement * I was happy to see Jidori chicken marsala on the menu. Chicken was soft and moist but the mushroom flavor didn't quite permeate all the way. I'm getting more of that through the roasted potatoes * I got the salmon penne with butter cheese sauce, instead of the pink sauce. In hindsight not the best move since the pasta was a bit bland with insufficient sauce.
