The pasta is all handmade, and you can genuinely taste the difference in both quality and flavor. The noodles have that fresh, slightly chewy texture that packaged pasta just does not have, and everything tastes carefully made rather than mass produced. The bolognese is spectacular: deep, rich, meaty, and comforting without feeling overwhelmingly heavy. It is the kind of dish that makes you slow down because every bite is worth paying attention to. The salads are also surprisingly substantial. The chopped salad, in particular, is a generous portion and packed with flavor, so it feels like a real part of the meal instead of an afterthought. Save room for the tiramisu, which is very good: creamy, balanced, and a great finish after the richer pasta. The only downside is the ambiance. The interior is tiny, so when it gets busy it can feel hectic and cramped. Still, the service is amazing, friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient despite the limited space inside.

Every pasta dish is cooked perfectly al dente, exactly as it should be, and so delicious that you'll already be planning your next visit before you've finished your meal. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail truly set this place apart. What makes the experience even more special is Luigi himself. He's always there, welcoming guests, making recommendations, and ensuring everyone feels at home. His passion, professionalism, and genuine hospitality are evident in every aspect of the restaurant. The outdoor seating is charming, they also offer catering for private events, and whether you're planning a romantic dinner, celebrating with friends, or simply craving real Italian food, you won't be disappointed. This hidden gem delivers a true Italian dining experience--no passport or plane ticket required. If you want to impress someone (or simply be impressed yourself), don't miss this place. Highly recommended!

There are only three tables in the restaurant and the wait can be long because all the food is made to order. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is excellent. I ordered in and it took about 35 minutes for everything to come out. And everything was delicious! Every dish was fresh, light, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly cooked. I had to stop myself from licking my plate. They change the menu every two months. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back again soon.

Instead of pressuring customers, he should focus on improving the food, which in my opinion is far from authentic Italian cuisine. Zero stars if Yelp allowed it. The word "authentic Italian" is doing all the work here, because the food certainly is not. I operate businesses in the United States and Europe, including Milan, and I am very familiar with both Italian food and restaurant operations. What I was served here looked and tasted like basic boiled pasta drowned in sauce--not carefully prepared Italian cuisine. The salad was roughly chopped lettuce with dressing and cheese thrown on top. The attached photos speak for themselves. I waited nearly an hour for pasta. That is not craftsmanship; it is a restaurant that cannot properly manage its orders. If the business is understaffed or overwhelmed, customers should be warned before their orders are accepted. I also felt sick after eating the pasta and shrimp. I cannot prove what caused it, but I will not ignore that part of my experience. I tried to give this business another chance today and called repeatedly during its posted hours. Nobody answered. Why advertise telephone ordering if customers cannot reach anyone? I also personally witnessed Marco speaking harshly to people helping in the kitchen. It was uncomfortable, upsetting, and completely unprofessional. Being Italian does not automatically make poorly prepared food "authentic." Authenticity comes from quality ingredients, proper technique, consistency, and respect for customers. In my experience, this restaurant delivered none of those things. The food quality, service, wait time, communication, and management were all unacceptable. I would never return and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Italian food.

We came here around 1PM on a Sunday and the place was completely empty. The staff up front checked us in, sat us down, and guided us through the menu so we knew what was going on. The menu here has some chicken wings, sides, and other random things, but the unlimited pasta for $13.99 is what we were interested in checking out. Basically, they have a list of different pastas to choose from and if you want things like chicken or meatballs added, it can be for some extra money. Now, I wasn't about to spoil the $13.99 deal so I figured I was about to crush five or six plates of pasta, but come to find out, I was lying. I started off with a plate of the RIgatoni & Marinara and plate came out on literal fire. The pasta was super fresh and actually tasted really, really, really good. After crushing the first place, my confidence was up so I figured I would give the Smokey Chipotle Penne and it was even better then the first dish. The sauce had a little bit of a kick to it, but the flavour was so good I almost ordered it again.....almost. Come to find out, two plates of pasta was the most I was able to finish and I tapped out. Overall, Pasta Amore was a super fun time and definitely a place I could see returning to in the future. The vibes here were solid, the staff was very friendly, and the pasta wasn't just all you can eat, it was actually pretty good.

Out of sheer luck, my best friend decided to chose this spot for our girls' night dinner, and we have decided on consensus that we savored every bite of our meal. We started our meal with the absolutely delectable focaccia erbraica, a cinnamon roll looking starter bread with olives, currant and a generous sprinkle of rosemary and salt. It came with a pad of homemade honey butter and a dab of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. It was so umami and paired with the butter seemingly melted in our mouths. We also countered that carb bomb with deliciously charred broccolini with walnuts and a squeeze of citrus. Highly cruciferous veggies should only be grilled based on how fast we cleaned our plate. As for the entrees, the plates are meant to share, but I skipped lunch and ate my own bowl of mafaldine short rib pasta (yes you read that right). It was so hearty and satisfying. As a kid, I loved stealing the cooked lasagna noodles and eating them by itself when my mom would make lasagna, so having it on my own bowl of pasta (in the form of mafaldine) gratified my inner child. The short rib was so tender and it was perfectly sauced. I could have eaten another bowl. My friend ordered a steak and a rigatoni alla carbonara, and while I didn't try the former, the latter rigatoni was so delicious as well. For dessert, we ordered the tiramisu, and luckily the last one of the night. It had equal parts espresso soaked cake and cream, and it was the perfect sweet note to end our epically delicious meal.

The restaurant is located near Dodger Stadium in a hilly residential area that isn't particularly pedestrian-friendly. Parking was by far the biggest logistical challenge, as we couldn't find any dedicated parking options beyond residential street parking. It's worth planning extra time if you're driving. We arrived around 7:45 for our 8pm reservation simply to check in, not expecting to be seated early. The host, seeming a little bothered, let us know our table would be ready closer to our reservation time and offered grabbing a drink at the bar next door as an option while we wait. We didn't want to order drinks, so we stood against the wall in the waiting area across the host stand. We were single-file, hugging the wall and not blocking anyone. Nevertheless, we were quickly told we couldn't wait there and needed to either go outside (it was cold) or sit at the tables next to the bar. After taking the indoor option given to us, a server came over to take our order. We explained that we were only sitting there because the host had directed us to wait there until our table was ready. The server responded, "Well, if you're here, it's basically expected you order a drink." Restaurants: please do not play games with your patrons. If purchasing something is expected to use the waiting area you direct us to, it leaves a really bad taste to discover it after you've sat down. After 8, we were seated in the main restaurant for our reservation. Our server was friendly, personable, and never made us feel pressured to order more than we wanted like I've encountered in other places. The menu was explained as family-style, with dishes intended to arrive around the same time. Unfortunately, the pacing of the meal didn't match that explanation. Instead of arriving together, the dishes came out individually over the course of about 1-2 hours, often 10-20 minutes apart. I completely understand that everything is made fresh, but it was disappointing after being told the meal would be timed differently. Setting accurate expectations would have gone a long way. The food itself was excellent and easily the highlight of the evening. While the dishes leaned a bit salty, everything was crafted artfully with quality ingredients. The stuffed fried squash blossoms, carbonara, pesto, and peach & burrata salad were all standouts that I'd happily order again.

Our server was super attentive and considerate of our conversations while making sure that we were served promptly. A really great experience from start to finish! The menu was great. All pasta besides the penne is made in house, and it's absolutely DELICIOUS. We shared the burrata caprese, which was great, but a slightly small portion. I ordered the rigatoni with vodka sauce, and it was absolutely fantastic. Perfect portion size, amazing texture for the sauce and noodles, and I was blown away by the sauce. My spouse ordered the cacio e pepe, and it was excellent--I must admit that I stole a few of her noodles and dipped them in the little puddles of vodka I still had left on my plate after I devoured my pasta. For dessert, we shared a tiramisu, and it was stellar. Perfect balance, textures, and flavors. This was my favorite Italian restaurant experience I've had in LA so far. I cannot wait to return!
